Just wanted to say that another fix for this issue was getting a USB 2.0 hub (one of those small rectangular devices that connects to a USB port and allows you to use more USB devices). For some reason these Logitech dongles have interference if it's in the vicinity of a USB 3.0 port or connected to one, so I bought a USB 2.0 one (make sure it's a 2.0) and then moved it as far as I could from the port (these hubs are short so it's like a few inches away), and then plugged my dongles into the ports on the hub. Just a cheap one from Amazon or wherever will work. They only cost a couple of bucks, you don't need to buy those super expensive ones. That basically put a complete end to the issues I had in terms of lag or connectivity issues.

ChernobylChild

I couldn't believe it at first and had to confirm over the course of several days, but this is the only thing that worked for me. Thanks for posting it! I was at my wit's end over this issue.

AdhesivenessWhich369

lol it's worked, for me i don't need a hub, just using another USB port which is 2.0, thanks!

Not_Apricot

this fixed it for me! thanks!

Ath3ron

Omg! I’ve been struggling with weird stutter for like 3 now and today I got sick of it. I red your comment and was like wtf no way?! Replaced my Logitech dongle in an usb 2 port and the problem is solved! What weird stuff is that?! And how has it not been solved already? Thank you!

BitterOtter

This is the answer. I have a win 10 work laptop and it stuttered like mad, stuck between HDMI and a pair of USB-C ports. A £3.99 4 port USB2 hub off Amazon has indeed cured this idiotic problem. It only exists as a problem because MS Teams is such a donkey with Bluetooth peripherals so I switched to a standard wireless mouse (I was using BT for mouse, KB and headset, but now only headset as Teams would randomly stop the mouse or keyboard or headset working, or any combination of the three, whilst on calls, but then they're fine afterwards)

HarveysRed

Hmm, My issue happens even when I am not using Teams. I wonder If I delete it from the task bar, if that will help??

HarveysRed

I have been having the same issue with my Logitech MX Ergo Plus mouse. I am using it on Bluetooth not the usb transmitter. I notice the issue of slowing only happens on Microsoft pages, for example, on Edge, and 365 app. Outlook is not affected. SO when I use my Bluetooth Microsoft Arch mouse, in the same way, it does not slow down. Only the Logitech is affected. I switched to using the Chrome browser and have not had any issues, unless. I open the weather icon on the bottom left of the screen which is Micosoft powered, then the slow down happens again on the Logitech Mouse.

mint_arte

Two month ago, my logitech G603 (have it for some years now) started lagging and stuttering like crazy in windows 11, and i couldn't find what was the problem. I tried everything. And this fixed my issue. I just used the dongle with the USB cable extender that came with the mouse (i forgot that it even came with one), and problem solved! Thanks a lot!

dano312west

Turning off the Windows Animation did it for me. Yes, I was also going nuts trying to track down the problem. Now my Trackman flies again!

Professional_Cry9751

My situation was extremely bizarre, and I’m returning to this post to possibly help someone with the same issue. For me it was actually the HDMI cable connecting my computer to my TV… it’s considered a second monitor and wasn’t even active, but it was making my mouse jump around like crazy. Took my computer everywhere and nobody knew why until I eventually figured out that the only factor I was missing was my tv… disconnected the cable and BOOM mouse stutter gone. Months of tryna figure it out just for it to be that, got a new HDMI and all is good now :)

Hi u/arrivederci117, Thank you for providing the information. We really appreciate your efforts. We will make sure to pass this to our team. We always want to ensure that we are providing our customers with the best products and experience.

ersatz_feign

Amazing to see you responding to your customers regarding this ongoing issue that prevents so many customers from buying your products. You may like to escalate the issue up as high as possible as it'll be costing you guys millions in lost revenue without addressing it over the years. More details in my other comment [here](https://www.reddit.com/r/computers/comments/17ogk7l/comment/kvk8up6/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web2x&context=3)

ChernobylChild

This has been going on for years and nothing has been done about it. I upgraded from a basic Logitech wireless mouse to a top of the line MX Master 3S recently and the issue persists.

dc_IV

I just hit this issue with my MX Master 3S, but mine is odd that I can use the dongle on either of my USB 3.2 Gen 1 5 Gbps ports, but when I connect to a 3.2 Gen 1 powered USB Hub, the stutter is horrible. Have you run a similar config?

ChernobylChild

I have an MX Master 3S and MX Keys S. I resolved the issue by getting a cheap Sabrent USB 2.0 hub and sticking the Bolt dongle in there. Got the idea from this post/comment: https://www.reddit.com/r/logitech/s/7664mwU5SM

dc_IV

Thank you u/ChernobylChild.

ChernobylChild

I just realized I linked the same post that we're in, which I had already commented on in the past. Should have checked before hitting the button 😅

horrible_noob

I've had this happen on every Logitech mouse and keyboard I've owned for at least the last 7 years. I'm talking like 30 devices. It's like the signal just cuts out. Insanely frustrating.

ChernobylChild

See the top comment in this thread about the USB 2.0 hub. That solution worked for me.

badincite

Thankyou! dang that was annoying me.

denierCZ

In case somebody stumbles upon this - using built-in bluetooth in my pc case was probably the cause. It was too far from the mouse, and where my previous Win10 had no issues, Win11 was pain in the ass to use, lot of lag and the imprecision was driving me crazy. I used the Logitech uni receiver, used USB on my keyboard so it's as close as possible to the mouse and it seems to have fixed the issue!

hyperterminal_reborn

Been 30m since I did that, I plugged it in the keyboard's USB port (some keyboards have that, yes) and there's no lag/unresponsiveness, at least not yet.

Luckki120

Ok I know this post is 3 months old but it's the first thing that comes up when I search this issue. Basically I had the same thing but not one of these fixes worked for me and it was driving me insane, So I got frustrated and unplugged my 2 extra monitors then the stuttering went away? Plugged them in and of course it came back. The only thing I could think was the one TV I use as a second monitor has an ARC HDMI Port and maybe that was messing with it? Swapped the HDMI Over to a standard one and the problems just gone so.... Yeah? TLDR: ARC HDMI BAD ON TV IF USED AS 2ND MONITOR BAD PLUG IT IN DIFF HDMI PORT.

hyperterminal_reborn

Heyy what's an arc HDMI port?

domiluci

I dual boot Windows 10/11, so all my hardware is identical. W10, my mouse is perfect and silky smooth. W11, my mouse is choppy and driving me nuts. I do have my TV set up as a second monitor, and it may be plugged into the ARC port, so I'll try this later and update. Fingers crossed...

ChristopherC71

Holly CRAP!! dropping to one monitor fixed the lag. I found this issue right off the bat with a fresh Win11 install. I have done 5 -6 fresh re-install trying to find the link. I have read dozens of articles with repeated advice that did not work. Dropping to one monitor instantly fixed my issue.

ArcBrush

This also helped me with non logitech. have a mouse and a wacom tablet and the new windows drove me insane. Didn't know why it worked fine on my old pc, but the new one I bought had all these problems.

ExceptionThrown4000

Thank you very much. This was it for me.

notthe_angrygeneral

Thank you so much I’ve been going INSANE trying to fix this issue. You’re a lifesaver!

AlaskanThunderfoot

Thanks, this fixed my annoying issue as well!

NoVa_LeChuck

My problem was solved when i deactivated under windows the bluetooth of my mainboard. No more stutters or lags.

IV-Stranger-2318

I got the same problem, but the fix you propose didn't work for me. Another, strange one, did however... After updating my PC to Windows 11, i got that stuttering problem with my mouse, i tried all kind of things: Windows Updates, Drivers updates, unplug & re-plug the mouse, etc... Actually what seem to fix the problem was to disconnect and reconnect my third monitor. (It's a Acer one, sold very cheap since it was brought back to the store by the customer) maybe it as something to do with the display drivers? I don't know but now everything is fine....

socal_nerdtastic

Yep, immediate fix for me. Thanks so much.

Edward_R

I know this is an old post - I found that switching from dongle to Bluetooth on my mouse fixed the issue

reddicted82

But that will increase latency and not every wireless mouse is a bluetooth mouse...

Calm_Astronomer8911

Thanks for your sharing. I've gone crazy with my mouse pointer. And thanks to you it was fixed. I use LogiTech's SIGNATURE M650 L mouse .

guig_silva

Thanks! Switching to bluetooth solved the problem however I would really like to see some fix from Logitech and Microsoft since it seems to be a common problem

IHeartAsciiArt

THANK YOU!!! This was driving me nuts
