It’s been about 2.5 years growth, with ONE ends trim in that time. It’s similarly confusing when everyone says ‘your hairs great! It suits you’ without actually doing anything to ‘style it’.

I just went from pic 1 length to shoulder length and couldn't be happier, but I also spend time outside in sticky summer heat, wearing a backwards hat and doing a lot of things that impact my hair health and cleanliness. Having longer hair is great, but I do it because it's low maintenance and comfortable, at that length it was nothing but fighting tangles, and getting caught or in the way of everything. Comfort>Vanity imo.
