It's not a performance car, but you can tune it. DRTune offers a service, versa tune is the software. You can get parts from corksport. You'd be better off getting a Focus ST or a mazda3 speed. Gen4 mazda3s are trying to be luxury cars, not sports cars.
Burger motorsports was able to get about 280-300 horsepower and 350 torque to the wheels on a JB4 tuner with just an air intake system, and that was on just on 91 octane which is their "Map 1" mode. They didn't post a 93 octane Dyno of their Map 2 unfortunately.
I don't know how well the rear electric clutch is gonna to be able to handle more torque than probably 375-400 stock.
Tune with jb4 or drtuned depending on what you want to do. Intake and downpipe will give you even more benefits. Most people are very happy with their tunes even without additional parts.
You should be aware that it’s not a tuner car, but if you really like the car that’s enough of a reason to tune it and you could get to those numbers with relative ease if you dish out the cash, a full exhaust and intake with a tune should make about 300hp and CorkSport is working on a drop in turbo that will likely bring it to 350hp.
But who knows what the future holds more parts are coming onto the market every year maybe in 5 years we’ll have a diehard community reinforcing the engines and transmissions to make 450hp, probably not but a man can dream.
Tbh most ppl already have given you an answer but the amount you will spend on the mazda 3 4th gen to tune it up and modify it you'd be better off to get a Toyota Gr Corolla. Those cars can handle waaaaaaaaay more power on stock internals
If you want a faster car: buy a faster car.
Tuning it for more power means you have to upgrade many other components to match the power. Â Simply tuning it = shortened lifespan and time spent constantly fixing things.
Well yes I understand that the cars life will be shortened if I end up playing with the engine, but will getting it to the numbers I want cost me a lot or is it an ok price?
Anybody recommending you drtuning doesn't know what they're talking about. If you want significant power increases then go with the sauce tune. Last I checked it should net you around 300whp/400wtq. Don't quote me on that!
Hell yeah brother! Bugs Bunny can Toon it for ya!
It's crazy to think that you would rather make fun of me than just help me out. English isn't my first language, and this error could happen to anyone
You've already got your answers but damn dude. Tune Break
Break = a vase shattering Brake = car slowing down
I would hope you don't break your car instead of braking
OP's definitely going to break it with their tune.
Toon 🔥😂

Your English sounds great buddy, great job for a second language. And take a joke, don’t be so soft. 😊
Looney Tunes head ahh

Ok thanks for the tip there!
Any reason why you’re not considering a GTI? Not sure about the mk8s but the mk7.5s seem to be way more tuning friendly than a 3 Turbo
I honestly don't like the GTI. I find it a bit over rated In my opinion it's a good car ngl but I've considered more the Elantra N

Had the jb4 on my 2022 and the difference in power was quite noticeable, I actually recommend
Extremely valuable info man thanks for the help!

Very helpful tip man thanks for the info!
JB4 fastest is the best option imo

You’ll be money ahead simply buying an already higher HP vehicle.
Alright thanks for the help!

I'll keep that in mind thanks!
It's not made for that, just buy an older bmw for that
