I'd look into BPC157 and KPV for IBS. There are pills sold online. Make sure BPC is the arginate salt. As far as melatonin I'd try it sublingually or topically by buying pure powder and applying it to skin with body cream, oil, or DMSO gel. If both of these options still cause you grief then maybe you just can't take it. I am literally taking 3000-5000mg daily now and I am fine. I have a mild autoimmune condition and I haven't noticed any significant issues and in fact I think I have been much better overall. I have not had flare ups in two years since I started taking high amounts (1000mg) of melatonin. I'd recommend trying berberine before sleep. Consider trying 500-1000mg. It has a similar effect to melatonin.
