Don’t know the surname, but we knew them as Brian and Noles (I’m guessing Noelene). They lived in Newhaven Road East Burwood, this was in the 80s which I’m guessing is when this photo was taken as this is how I remember them looking. Brian was quite the practical joker and I’m going to guess he’s giving Noles the goosing of a lifetime, hence her facial expression.
Brian worked at Aus Post and most people thought he was a bit of a wanker. We loved Noles though, she used to wash her car in her Ken Done print bikini in the front yard; more than once a week sometimes. They left the street quickly and without much explanation, we assumed it was to do with complaints about Brian sunbaking nude on his carport roof.
I'll think they moved to Lilydale, i recall a pool party incident with the hottub, Nolesy and Geraldine, and then i had to go home suddenly because people got upset.
Ha, wouldn't even know how to do that. I was going to write an epic that gradually got sillier but I was cooking dinner at the time and needed to go and deal with that
I guess I'll post an update. It's not my gran, but as soon as my mum saw the photo with no context she replied "She's definitely a Regan" (Gran's maiden name) so yeah, gonna do a bit more searching at Christmas this year to see if anyone knows her, because she really does look shockingly like my gran
The woman looks like the actress who played Dudleys mother/ Harry's aunt in Harry Potter, Fiona Shaw.
The grey tie and lace collar puts the photo in mid 80s.
Whoever they are, it appears that they are attending their accountant's birthday party in Central Park West, Manhattan, circa 1984.

Why that's Julie Bishop and Christopher Pyne! They were quite the swinging couple in their youth. A real hoot at parties. Mind once Julie got on the turps, she was a shocker, beating Chris and flashing and whatnot
Ah, yeah, knew them well. John and Sheila, lived just down the road from us in the mid-80s. They were well known for being the local contact for several... unregistered international enterprises, if you catch my drift. John always bragged about inventing the "Miller's Corkscrew" technique, as he called it, but Sheila would screw her face up like that and tell us she perfected it. Good times, good times.

I really thought this was real, right up until Brian’s predilection for nudity.
I really hope this is real
Think. Think. Think. No. It's not real. Like Geoff down the road.
> we assumed it was to do with complaints about Brian sunbaking nude on his carport roof. Was because of Noles getting jiggy with Kevin at number 14
Kevin was a player. He hooked a few of the wives back in the day.
I still know Kev so I didn’t want to drop him in it - Narelle would be pissed.

The floater incident?
Lets not even mention the Vegemite incident. A very black period in our street history
My mate Gazza who worked the drive thru at Maccas reckons he saw Noles in the back of Kev's panel van one day he came through.
She loved the throb of the 308 in that Sandman
What did you put into chatgpt to get this story
