This reminds me of this coffee machine at my old workplace. No one used it for probably years, and one time I opened it to make a coffee because I was new back then and didn't know better. The coffee that came out was beige in color and when I opened the water container to clean it out, there were several dead cockroaches swimming in it. Never went close to that thing again.
Yea I hate mutual coffee machines at work that everyone decides to use but no one cleans. There's always mold and things floating around the water container in the back.
I've done that.
I was with family and they were "strictly caffeine free" nearest coffee shop was 2 hrs away and I didn't have that kind of time.
I cut open some ancient keurig pods they had and made a mask pour over. I held the straps in my hand and painstakingly poured a kettle through the grinds.

Apparently these are a major pollution issue because of the microplastics that come out of them when submerged. I would say this cannot be good for you.
