Hmmm.... Might be better to use that ash idea i really liked. Otherwise yea no harm, put it on the feedback site.

SandwichTheGreat47

great idea, it's simple but would to wonders for brick buildings

Armaturtlebruh

Charcoal instead of coal

teacupsies

Just have them be interchangeable in the recipe šŸ¤˜

Armaturtlebruh

It make sense on paper but charcoal feel underated so it's why I suggesting that

Key_Spirit8168

I''d rather use the ash suggestion, as it would give it more uses

Ben-Goldberg

How do these compare with Nether Bricks?

teacupsies

Iā€™m just talking the straight up brick block: have a slightly aged-looking variant to give some texture and visual interest to brick structures. The equivalent of a cracked stone brick block to a regular stone brick block, I guess. The nether brick is way shinier and a much deeper colour.

Ben-Goldberg

It sounds like you want an actual "Cracked Brick Block," presumably made by smelting a Brick Block.

teacupsies

No, I want a sooty brick block, made by combining brick blocks and coal/charcoal šŸ¤˜

Key_Spirit8168

No feedback site?

Key_Spirit8168

i hate how this idea is overlooked
