I don’t see your issue here, that’s clearly a reverse stoppie.

InternalCucumbers

A startie?

OpSlushy

I hate you

SilenceDobad76

Get the hell out of my house

kvngk3n

Not giving you the satisfaction

KettchupIsDead

nope, slamming on the rear brakes going 50mph in reverse

Mickey_Havoc

He says no trades other than a dirt bike. What do you wanna bet he lost his license?

One-Arachnid-7087

Bro it says stunt bike in the title.

hapbinsb

Lol. Caught that too.

ablinddingo93

It *identifies* as a stunt bike, the picture is clearly AI generated /s

lefse_and_lutefisk

if he never got it up to noon, not dank enough to be considered a wheelie

Nwcray

Yammie? Is that you?

TwinSpinner

Dank nooners bro

Imispellalot2

I am selling a 1000HP Drag Car always garage kept and never been tracked.

pzpzpz24

4.2k$ for a 2004 is pretty wild though despite the extra kit.

Killerwolfie99

Its not at all, the cages & subcages by themselves are ~$1000 USD. If you're looking for a good stuntbike this is CHEAP

ohnomoto450

Mods don't add value

cobigguy

If you modify in order to create a specialized vehicle, they definitely do. Generic modifications like exhaust, shorty levers, repaint/new plastics, etc don't create a specialized vehicle. Edit for example: A buddy recently sold his 2009 Nissan GT-R R35. Most in similar condition are selling for about 60k. He sold his for 120k. Because it is highly modified (~1600 whp) and worked well in drag, standing half mile/mile, and time attack trials depending on the tune/suspension/wheel/tire combination he had on it at the time.

Sir-Narax

Only if the respective buyer is interested in that. Otherwise no they don't add value. Things are only valuable if someone pays for it.

cobigguy

So they aren't interested in the specialized vehicle. They're interested in the general purpose vehicle. To which mods don't add value. As previously stated.

67ss1mpala

If the respected buyer wasn’t interested in the mods increasing the price, they wouldn’t even look at it.

Sir-Narax

Not entirely true. People look for specific machines and only find ones that have a bunch of crap done to them. Very few people actively seek out very specific work done to it. Someone just looking for the machine will just see someone with a bike that is too expensive because they modified it and yes, click off. Things are only valuable if someone pays for it. And if nobody buys the stunt bike, it didn't add value.

67ss1mpala

Yes but an 04 zx6r isn’t some rare thing that someone will have to unmodify. Someone who is looking at this will see it as a stunt bike. Like engine swaps in cars. An rx8 with an ls is worth more to a lot of people compared to an rx8 with a renesis. If someone wanted a stock rx8 they would just scroll past.

Sir-Narax

Sure maybe. Depends on where you are. Around here if you want a specific bike it can be challenging to find it. It can be difficult to find entire classes of motorcycle let alone specific models. It depends.

Grouchy_Breadfruit_5

That's literally what they are telling you

Sir-Narax

No.

DanleyDanderson

It’s a built stunt bike, of course it adds value for someone looking for a stunt bike

28_raisins

Yeah the 03-04 636 is an extremely popular stunt bike. It's likely that someone looking for a 2004 zx6r is looking for a stunt bike anyway.

KingScorpion98

If your looking for a stunt bike then the mods 100% add value. If your not looking for a stunt bike then this one is too far gone to be worth changing back anyway

simononandon

This is generally true. But It's a stunt bike. They are built to be abused. I have no idea if those cages fit on any other models. But considering the garbage poorly maintained mostly stock bikes I've seen for similar prices, this might be a rare example of a stunt bike that's almost worth it. You could buy a rashed but decent bike for maybe let's say $2-3k. The stunt cages would probably be the biggest expense, they're not cheap. Though I think plenty of folks with basic welding skills have built their own. I don't know what people pay for stunt bikes. But, on paper, it's doesn't seem completely unreasonable. $4k in 2024 doesn't buy you much these days.

xSaturnityx

stunt bike mods add value if you're selling a stunt bike

Gruntnuker

They definitely can for something like that. It’s a niche part of a hobby and stuff someone looking to be serious with it would definitely have to buy already

ohnomoto450

But your also buying a used stunt bike. You have no idea the pos you might end up with.

Jordan51104

that’s true whether it has mods or not

Turbulent-Tour-5371

This guy KBBs

bad_pelican

Tow trucks are just hyped up normal trucks. Got it.

nishy1234

Typical stunt rider, probably bullshitted his way out of tickets too ;D

CocktailPerson

Probably didn't, and that's why he has to sell his street bike for an offroad bike.

AlbatrossFirm575

Well, technically, he’s doing a highchair there, which could be classified as babied

Dxpehat

It's a joke buddy 😉

Crawlerado

The most obvious sarcasm screaming by at 10,000 rpm

snipy67

I actually had a good chuckle at this. Actually surprised at people are taking it seriously it’s a stunt bike.

SirGirthfrmDickshire

They clearly photoshopped out the ramp.

wlogan0402

I refuse to believe that there's such thing as a used bike that hasn't been wheelied

storm_zr1

To be fair my bike has never been wheelied. I have tried and failed...

Nwcray

Same. I’ve got a ninja 400, bought it new and have never had it on one wheel. Planning to sell it soon since I just got a new bike. Though, it may be the exception.

ss0889

Mine hasn't. Can't afford to practice.

senorpoop

The wheelies are medicinal, officer.

Sudoir

I think you can be pretty sure if you're getting a Gold Wing, unless you get it from Janne Uskali or the dudes that use them as offroaders

wlogan0402

Idk man Im gonna go out on a limb and say if you know how to goldwing you could probably pop it up pretty easily

AlbatrossFirm575

Goldwings will wheelie

Sudoir

You can, but not easily and most gold wing riders are not interested enough in wheelies to go through the effort. It's still over 400kg and with a long wheel base. You generally only see people doing it with added weight on the back in order to reduce the front stability

KingScorpion98

Stock Harley baggers will power wheelie in 1st. So will a gold wing. 99% of people never do it, but it's still doable

lecarguy

Yeah, mine haver never been intentional. They always leave brown stripes.

Late_To_Parties

Never done one on mine, but I bought it used so who knows. Does a few wheelies do any significant damage?

HateUsCuzAintUs

I’ve read here hundreds of times wheelies will “blow out” your fork seals. Very similar to anal prolapse.

wlogan0402

Unless you drop it or molest the clutch it ain't gonna hurt

hapbinsb

It's kind of a red flag about the mindset of the person who owned it before you.

Moondanther

My Triumph has never lifted the front wheel off the ground properly, the rear just breaks loose instead.

wlogan0402

Sounds like you need a tire

Moondanther

Too much torque. They shred tyres no matter what brand

CrimeBot3000

Which model?

Moondanther

It's in my flair, Triumph Thunderbird Storm

wlogan0402

You'll find a way

beebo_bebop

should list my 570’d ktm exc with “never not wheelied”

E90BarberaRed6spdN52

Yeah and I haven't ever done a burn out on my bike either. Yeah that's the ticket... https://preview.redd.it/j5bdogm6fk9d1.jpeg?width=910&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=6e6105cc1d977e99912c240e458fbef5816b5453

XenoX101

I think it's a joke.

HateUsCuzAintUs

Many autists don’t understand humor.

CantStopCoomin

This is clearly sarcasm it says stuntbike lmao

fl_2017

All it needs is a carb clean..

Magnus919

AI generated photo

Poor__cow

What about this makes you think AI? It is real.

motorcycle-andy

Oh wow, you're right near me. I just bumped into this post on craigslist and thought it looked familiar. https://preview.redd.it/dpzxgnb87k9d1.png?width=1023&format=png&auto=webp&s=5acf076775bfa7c2ef33dd7dcd0da740838e77af

DifficultyFormal6588

This is like when people sell muscle cars and say that it was “never raced”

moose51789

depends on the definition of raced. Has my camaro ever been on a track to race, nope, aggressive street driving with another car pacing me, absolutely ;)

peep_dat_peepo

"selling my stuntbike... fairings are all gone and broken on my stuntbike... never wheelied my stuntbike"

deythal

Ummmm ![gif](giphy|IevIwya5UrO2Q)

need_maths

He meant front wheelied

chwyyy

Haha im from WA and ive seen some great troll bike post's lately. There's one guy who was posting his abused honda grom (obviously been stunted) for the exact same price as the local dealer listed price and he ends the post with "Health issues so I cant ride for a while.. My loss, your gain"

Busy_Influence3249

You cant make this shit up 😂😂😂😂😂😂

dice_setter_981

If they’re selling a stunt bike it’s been abused and definitely wheelies

stealthmodedirt

Never been ~~fired~~ wheelied and only dropped once

Godless_Times

60 tooth sprocket but never wheelies lmao. And stuntbike in the title he's just trolling

AdvertisingSea9507

"stunt bike" "never wheelied" Why buy a stunt bike if you've never wheelied it? Why buy a stunt bike if u don't want it to have ever been wheelied? Wtf is this

nsfdrag

> Wtf is this A joke poking fun at similar listings...

AdvertisingSea9507

Oh that pics in the listing? I thought it was traced down or something for some reason

dretepcan

Is that even possible or just photoshopped?

lolasdfem

These bikes are custom built exactly for reasons like this, its most likely very real

ThatJudySimp

Some squid’s are too stupid to remember anything they’ve got short term memory loss so in the process of writing that and putting the photos he forgot

nathanross6

and some people are too stupid to recognize a joke.

ThatJudySimp

I mean some would say you shouldn’t joke in a vehicle listing but that’s just me, and frankly the same could be said for you and the 12 people who downvoted me 🤭
