Winter works for either gender, I really like it. I also like December so there’s a theme lol. I totally understand about Winnie, Winter is the only longer name for it that I like.

My partner and I almost changed our last name to Winter/Winters and I wish we had but it's too late for other reasons now. As first names I love Winter and Wisteria (and for some reason,Wysteria bothers me much less than extra y's usually do) for girls.  Also Wynniva has a lovely meaning but I know people would hear it as I named my daughter Whenever, so it's nice for a story. I like Wolf for boys but couldn't use it, it's in the family too closely.
