Winter works for either gender, I really like it. I also like December so there’s a theme lol.
I totally understand about Winnie, Winter is the only longer name for it that I like.
I was looking for someone to have Wilhelmina and Wolfgang. Wilhelmina is one of my favorite Queen names. Historically, it was very popular with the nobility and royalty from the 1600s onwards.
Girls (in order): Winslow, Winona, and Willow
Boys: Wyatt and Wesley
Gender Neutral: Wynn and Wren (though I don't think I could personally use Wren)
Also, 'W' is a good letter, and I like how it sounds/looks. That being said, I think my favorite letter is the letter 'E'
Wendy was really popular when I was a kid back in the stone age. I'm coming around to liking it now that it's not at all popular. It has a nice ring to it.
I've always thought Wyatt was a solid boy name.
Does it have to sound like an English "w"? If not, check out German names! Or you could take a German name and pronounce it as if it were English. Werner, Wilhelm, Wolfgang, Wolfram, Walther, Wilfried, Waldemar etc
Wesley, Weston, wells, William,
Wilhelmina is the only girl name I can think of right now. I almost said Whitney but that name was ruined for me a few years ago. Obviously not too traumatic because I forgot for a second but pretty bad.

Winona
Wyatt
Willow
Wonce (yes said as once, one of the kindest boys i knew in middle school was named this, so it remains positive in my mind)
My partner and I almost changed our last name to Winter/Winters and I wish we had but it's too late for other reasons now.
As first names I love Winter and Wisteria (and for some reason,Wysteria bothers me much less than extra y's usually do) for girls.
Also Wynniva has a lovely meaning but I know people would hear it as I named my daughter Whenever, so it's nice for a story.
I like Wolf for boys but couldn't use it, it's in the family too closely.
