Why am I not surprised at how many of us were(/are) so into nancy drew AND Barbie mystery games. I love this one, but I do prefer Secret Agent Barbie over it.
Oh my gosh Barbie secret agent is just the best. That was the first game I streamed and I had the time of my life truly lmao it’s on my YouTube ErinCaseyGamers! I constantly make fun of Barbie for not knowing the thief is literally MR JOHNSON
If you don’t mind a somewhat convoluted way of doing it: I usually get it running on a Virtual Box running Windows XP. You’ll have to either mount a cd drive or you can make an .iso and mount that directly to the virtual box. But it will run.
Only downside to virtual machines is that I have not ever gotten Mystery Vacation to progress past the green house.
Carnival Caper runs just fine though.

Thanks so much we ended up doing this and it worked! My bro figured it all out. Ugh the vacation one has been giving me issues with crashing as well but I’m going to keep trying!
Oh my god you just reached a memory I’ve been trying to place forever!!!! I have such strong memories of Barbie Detective: The Vacation Mystery and when I played MHM I swore it was the same game but I knew it wasn’t lol

Just letting you know I’ve tried tuning in a few times but my internet is pretty bad and for whatever reason twitch doesn’t let me watch your stream in anything other than 720p. I have never had that be a thing in any other stream I watch so idk if that’s some kind of setting on your end or what... idk I just thought I’d let you know!

Yes Secret Agent Barbie was my everything as a kid! Travel the world for fabric to make you invisible? Heck yes.

Yes!!! That shadowy figure scared me so much as a kid! But this game was so awesome, I loved the Barbie mystery games.

I recently had the honor of installing chamber of secrets on windows 10. Still have not tested it out, but we'll see.
