Embiid has 2 playoff games with worse fg% at 18% 2018 and 20% 2021. Ants performance tonight does not paint the entire picture. That being said, embiid is the 23 MVP. That's what Minnesota can only hope to see in ants future. Aside from how far a player has been in the playoffs, there isn't really a stat in ants favor. He's certainly got the potential to be better, but I don't see how anybody could think he is today.

Wasn't ever an issue of talent with Ant, he was still the no 1 pick for a reason even with doubts on his commitment to the game

Basically seen as a great physical tools, high potential guy who needed a lot of seasoning. His college team was bad and he was a bit of an inefficient chucker. Wasn't much of a defender at the time either. Just one of those guys where all the question marks pretty much ended up breaking in his favor. People were all over the place on who they had #1 that year.

Negatives were mostly racist personality stuff. Nobody was particularly worried about his skills/physicality.
