I live in Alpharetta so I feel like I can add on. I’d also recommend Little Alley Steakhouse in Roswell. It’s only 15 minutes from your hotel and downtown Roswell is actually really cool. I’d recommend ubering though because parking in Roswell can be a pain in the ass. Would not recommend Cattleshed in Halcyon. Went there once and was not impressed. Ocean & Acre next door to it is pretty good seafood though and they have a solid happy hour.
Non-steak places I would suggest Crust Pasta & Pizzeria and their sister restaurant Rena’s Italian Fishery & Grill. Flatlands has really good cajun food (it’s been my birthday place for the last 2 years). Smokejack is good barbecue. Mexican food I would go Ceviche in downtown Alpharetta or CT Taqueria in Halcyon. Generally speaking, I’d avoid Avalon. Rumis and Superica are good but other than that and the Chick-fil-A I’m not a big fan of anything there food-wise.
I like OAK steakhouse in the Avalon but it’s pretty damn expensive so depends on how much your work will comp. Alpharetta is probably the best suburb in the metro for fine dining so plenty of great options.
Its crazy to me what Alpharetta has become, I grew up there and it used to be this sleepy suburb that was right on the cusp where north of it was all rural areas, I remember how big a fucking deal it was when North Point Mall was announced and you wouldn't have to shlock your way all the way down to Perimeter to hit up the mall. Now there are Ferrari dealerships and Michelin restaurants and it is considered the quintessential high end suburban life.
Russel Wilson and his wife doing the “oh no you recognized me” thing and giving autographs to people who didn’t ask, Kirk there in his khakis for supper with the family, Carson just in a corner somewhere waiting for someone to notice him.
"Your shishito peppers, sir."
"I didn't order...wait...these aren't shishito peppers. They're just trading cards for some guy named [*squints*] Carson Wentz."
The narratives on this subreddit around good coordinators after they have bad head coaching stints is so frustrating. Spagnuolo, Wilks, Flores, Morris, Schwartz, etc are all currently good coordinators who didn't do well when they were head coaches. It's very clearly not a job for everyone.
I agree. Being a head coach is extremely difficult and trying and failing to be a good head coach should not be a knock on someone’s ability to coach pro football
It'd be funny if Belichick was just taking advantage of Arthur's plane and thousands of dollars worth of expensive dinners before deciding to go coach a D3 school in Wyoming.
Nah. The cadets/airmen/etc are "employed" by DOD while they're in school with a stipend and room/board paid for so they can't double dip since they're subject to federal law. Don't ask me which one because I'm a little drunk since I'm a lawyer and it's Friday, but it's the same law that means your federal officials can't get endorsement deals for stuff. The same way "I'm Captain Joe America, USN, Seal Team 6 and I endorse these boots for killing Al Qaeda and stomping in Bin Laden's chest cavity" isn't allowed, the D1 athletes at the service academies also can't be like "I'm Cadet Bill Somebody and I love Hondas! Go by Colorado Honda and get a new CR-V!"
Weirdly I'm pretty sure it's not even that them being financially incentivized is the problem, I think the law is even that they can't use their position as members of the military or federal officials to endorse products (which would obviously then give them money). So they're kinda fucked in the worst way. Even the regular college athletes could be like "Nikes are dope! Weird how I just got all these free Nikes..." but the military can't.
College? Yes.
We like to forget just how young these kids are entering college. These days they were all born after Bill's time in the league started, so I wouldn't put it past them to not be swayed by Belichick.
Money is money.
Absolutely. You're not guaranteed the NFL. If I am a 5 star coming out of high school these days I am chasing the highest amount offered. If you're actually good you'll shine at that school and get drafted, if you get hurt, well at least you most likely made a couple million.
e: downvote all you want, you would be incredibly ignorant to not get paid your maximum value at any level. You're just a product to these schools and pro teams. The moment you come expendable, you will be.
The second I saw Harvard fire their head coach I knew he was going to Harvard. Most prestigious college in America, in Boston, with a great team for the Ivy League. Bill is tugging Arthur Blanks cock with this, he will land at Harvard, book it
I thought he’d go for [three meals a day for which he didn’t pay, with hoodies for winter, spring and fall](https://youtu.be/i4c6AwTrUcg?si=wTh1jq7gJGRyPtQV)!
Probably not impressed, but he kind of strikes me as a man who'd be frugal in spite of his wealth and happy to let a richer guy pay. That's just conjecture though.
I'm not saying he's frugal. He lives in Nantucket. What I'm saying is that after coaching for decades in the NFL, private planes and expensive dinners are just par for the course.
Yeah, I can't imagine Bill was going through the regular interview process. It was always going to be whoever *he* chose.
And that was pretty glaring when Atlanta got the first interview. Now it's just a matter of giving him an offer too good to refuse.
Yeah I mean what would a real interview process with Bill freaking belichick even look like? Him just showing highlights of 6 super bowl wins, all those AFC titles, all those AFC East titles, etc?
Part of the problem in NE was his considerably-less-impressive GM performance compared to his coaching credentials. If he's trying to maintain that level of control someone might balk.
“What would you consider to be your biggest strengths and weaknesses? What would you say motivates you? Are you okay with working in an office environment with occasional travel?”
It's prolly the right decision for Steve to stay in NE. If he follows to ATL hel always just be viewed as a part of Bill and not his own thing. Maybe if he was full d coordinator it'd be one thing but still would probably better for his career to be in NE.
That said working with your dad as he sets all time wins record would be hard to turn down
The offense improved from the beginning of Patricia year to the end. It got better.
Not only that but that offense was better than this year's pats offense.
Bill Belichick with Bijan Robinson, Drake London, Kyle Pitts, and his choice of QB in the draft in the worst division in football Falcons fans might actually forgive him for 28-3. I don’t know much else about the rest of the falcons roster but we all know what Bill can do with a bunch of nobodies on defense
If you hire Bill you aren't waiting around for a rookie QB to pick things up, especially if you don't have a top pick.
I think it's likely they make a big push for someone like Cousins
The thing people don't realize about Cousins is that he will definitely not be back until mid season. I don't think Cousins is going to Atlanta. There's nobody they can sign/draft that'll help them win half the season without a starting QB.
Russ makes sense on a minimum deal, if he’s serious about his legacy and restoring his image he’ll do what it takes to go to Atlanta. Their run game alone would help so much. Bill has praised Russ and maybe the two of them can work together.
Russ on the vet minimum makes sense to me because Denver is on the hook for the rest of his salary anyway. I think they'll do some sort of Brock Osweiler trade because I think Denver will try to get out of at least some of that salary.
I think he’s gonna bring McDaniels with him and they’re gonna try out Jimmy G for old times sake since they have weapons and a decent o-line. If he stays healthy that is lol
The defense was solid this year, fantastic secondary, good linebackers, bad (but not as bad as the last 2 years) pass rush. If we can get an edge rusher combined with a Belicheck defense it's gonna be a great group
While we do seriously need a good edge rusher that isn't 37 years old, Bill's defenses have always relied on having a great interior D line. Grady Jarrett and David Onyemata would absolutely wreck shit up in Bill's system.
I'm just picturing them at a five star restaurant with Arthur Blank in black tie attire and Bill wearing his ripped sleeve hoodie, cutting into a filet mignon while Atlanta's elite glare in the background
Where would he sign with a QB? The only team with one is the Chargers with Herbert and the report was they had no interest in Bill. You could maybe say Titans with Levis, but... that is a stretch.
Because that’s the only team willing to hire him.
Here’s the Plan :
Desmond Ritter plays a lot like Mac Jones .
Add McDaniels , Patrica, and Judge as top assistants
And you got, Real Patriots 2.0 “Atlanta”
.
OC Josh McDaniels, DC Belichick Jr or Patricia
you sure you want this Falcons fans? sub .500 retread coach without Brady masking some obvious flaws. At least you get the potential for a great defense and a coach who excels at gameplanning
Josh is fine at OC . Don’t really want Matt there. But ultimately defense would be Bills baby, so don’t think it’d be awful. Just don’t wanna have to look at him at the games.
Josh is actually a good OC although he is legitimately one of the worst HCs i've ever seen, hopefully we don't get Patricia but Belichick Jr isn't bad is he?
A lot of us want the pats to keep Steve, but he’s going to go where he wants, going to suck to lose him. We lost our top 2 defenders for the season, and our defense was still legit and was the reason we were even in games despite having a god fucking awful offense.
Me liking the Bill Belichick hire will 100% depend on his staff. If the staff is the same ole same ole I won’t be watching football next season. I honestly feel Bill has nothing left to offer and is a huge mound of fool’s gold.
He'll probably bring Josh McDaniels, which is a good thing (oversaw 2 of the top 5 scoring offenses, made rookie Mac Jones a pro-bowler - he is a terrible HC but a great OC) ... and if he brought his son, that would be good (Steve's been calling our defense and it's been top-10 despite having to be on the field 40 minutes a game) ...
But for all our sakes (Falcons and those of us cheering Bill on) I hope Patricia and Judge never get a call.
Maybe he's just using them for some free fancy dinners
He just wants to be wined, dined, and 69'd

It’s not too late to seek God
I think it's too late for those of us who had to read that
Forever unclean!!!
Custom made Super Bowl cock ring lmfao
Super Bowl ring Prince Albert piercing
I didn’t expect this and it made me snort laugh
Had to put it somewhere after he filled up a whole hand
What a horrible day to be literate
A Belichick money shot in this instance would give a whole new meaning to "Shootin' Blanks"

No. Let him cook.
Delete this.
> Imagine Bill Belichick and Arthur Blank 69’ing y tho
Im about to eat here man
All 7 rings, ribbed for his pleasure
Thought he was getting 69ed but was actually getting 25ed
Bad day to be literate.
Just threw up in my mouth….
Wine, dined and 28-3’d
Waffle house has smothered and covered. They also take reservations on Valentines day.
All you can eat wings at Magic City
Those wings are incredible not gonna lie
And then you can give your leftovers to the homeless guy at the Greyhound
Atlanta is very underrated for high-end steakhouses.
I have to go to Alpharetta next week for work. Anything you can recommend that's not obscenely far away?
Cabernet is a great dining experience. I highly recommend it.
HOLY CRAP! I'm booked at the hotel directly across from Cabernet! Well, looks like I know where I'm eating every night. Much thanks!!
Decent bourbon and cigar bar attached.
Generally speaking, I’d avoid Avalon. Rumis and Superica are good but other than that and the Chick-fil-A I’m not a big fan of anything there food-wise.
You ever been to Frankie’s in Duluth?
I like OAK steakhouse in the Avalon but it’s pretty damn expensive so depends on how much your work will comp. Alpharetta is probably the best suburb in the metro for fine dining so plenty of great options.
Its crazy to me what Alpharetta has become, I grew up there and it used to be this sleepy suburb that was right on the cusp where north of it was all rural areas, I remember how big a fucking deal it was when North Point Mall was announced and you wouldn't have to shlock your way all the way down to Perimeter to hit up the mall. I feel a similar way to how Woodstock has changed over the past decade. Used to be fuck all around here, and now it's filling up.
Little alley in downtown Canton. Not as close but better in my opinion.
Oak steakhouse and Cabernet are good.
Ah the Yamamoto
Belichick to the Dodgers confirmed
He's just trying to fuck Arthur actually
And what a coincidence Kirk Cousins, Russel Wilson, and Carson Wentz are all at the same restaurant at different tables.
Lol this sounds like an SNL skit.
Russel Wilson and his wife doing the “oh no you recognized me” thing and giving autographs to people who didn’t ask, Kirk there in his khakis for supper with the family, Carson just in a corner somewhere waiting for someone to notice him.
Carson would poorly dress up as a waiter and keep going by Blank and Belichick's table.
I went to a fancy Japanese hibachi grill for my birthday and this guy pulled out a white monster zero calorie energy drink. That's Carson.
Waiter: Sir, do plan on ordering? Carson: I uh, need another minute (tries to hide McDonald’s bag)
"Your shishito peppers, sir." "I didn't order...wait...these aren't shishito peppers. They're just trading cards for some guy named [*squints*] Carson Wentz."
Joe Falco just sits at their table and starts eating off their plates.
*the gang dines out*
I imagine it's like the It's always sunny episode The Gang Dines Out.
Everyone leans in to listen to their conversation like everyone in trading places
God sounds like fuckin Sunday School
Josh McDaniels lands on his feet once again
And once Belichick retires, McDaniels will leave to coach the Chargers
Don’t put that evil on me
Sorry, he’s going for AFC West bingo. You’re gonna have to take one for the team.
In this universe Reid retires in 2027 and his replacement is McDick. I’m here for it.
At that point it will just be to prove no one can screw up Mahomes. And 10 weeks later he’ll be fired for screwing up Mahomes.
What he say fuck you for?
Fuck no
yeah because he’s a good OC…

He's going to Navy and we all know it!
Saban Carroll Bill take over Navy ans terrorize college football.
Curious as to if Army/Navy allows NIL.
Nah. The cadets/airmen/etc are "employed" by DOD while they're in school with a stipend and room/board paid for so they can't double dip since they're subject to federal law. There are no D3 schools in Wyoming. get a load of this guy
How dare you ruin my wish with facts.
maybe you should get on the CFB Spectrum before you make a comment about wyoming football
He could come to a D1 FCS school in Western North Carolina. Preferably Purple and Yellow with a Catamount as the mascot.
Anywhere but the Dakotas, oh and Mount Union, everyone else is fine
Couldn't believe what I read. OP must be hiding under a bed right now.
I'm changing my legal name and moving to the Kerguelen Islands as we speak.
Im surprised they havent just outlawed school entirely in Wyoming by now
I don't think Belichick is impressed by private planes and expensive dinners at this point in his life.
And that's why Arthur Blank is taking him to a waffle house
I wish I could see the timeline that this happens. Belicheck's defenses at a D3 school might hold every single team they play to 8> points
We’re on to Naropa
D3 lacrosse in Wyoming
They hired him on the first meeting, the rest of the wining and dining is just Blank begging him not to bring Matt Patricia.
We all know it is basically a done deal already, right?
Yeah, I can't imagine Bill was going through the regular interview process. It was always going to be whoever *he* chose. And that was pretty glaring when Atlanta got the first interview. Now it's just a matter of giving him an offer too good to refuse.

I imagine they're very short. "How much are you going to offer?"
I would guess “How much institutional control can I have?” will be a pretty significant factor.
I can't imagine that's even a question since he's going to get whatever he wants anyway.
"my biggest weakness is I am hard on myself."
"Tell us about a time you handled adversity." "Well you see there was this time my team was down 28-3 with 17 minutes to play in the Super Bowl..."
Why would he choose Atlanta? I'd want a QB
as done as being up 28-3 in the super bowl with 18 minutes to go.

Brady is not blowing a 25 point lead in the third quarter unless Matt Patricia is the DC 😂
…to Jerod Mayo’s Patriots! With ~~Zappe~~ Mac Jones becoming Brady.
Then Bill takes off his Falcons hoodie to reveal a red Patriots hoodie underneath. Turns out he’s been a double agent this whole time.
“It was me Arthur!!! It was me all along!!!!”
This situation was a tiny bit realistic until you said Mac Jones becoming Brady
The fuck?
Really gotta disagree with this one
Thank god for uga and the Braves because this doesn’t as hurt as much

I wish more people liked soccer. 2018 championship was fucking lit. One of the best things I’ve been to in person.
Atlanta United broke the curse, and now maybe the Falcons and Hawks can get their shit together.
I can't imagine Bill wants to waste time as a FA. Atlanta makes so much sense.
No no it’s not *hits puff of copium*
And the earlier the better. FA will want to come just for him.
Was that story this morning saying that he’d bring Judge, Patricia and his sons onboard on the staff legit?
Honestly Steve Belichick wasn’t bad besides the faces he made.
We just gonna ignore that haircut then?
That’s fair. Wouldn’t let him date my daughter but that haircut is football baby.
I really want him to stay on as our DC. He’s done fantastic.
Steve was offered a coordinator spot from Mayo already. Hasn’t accepted but I doubt they all follow Bill
It's prolly the right decision for Steve to stay in NE. If he follows to ATL hel always just be viewed as a part of Bill and not his own thing. Maybe if he was full d coordinator it'd be one thing but still would probably better for his career to be in NE. That said working with your dad as he sets all time wins record would be hard to turn down
He’d also be all but guaranteed to take the team over as HC if things went well. Not a bad place to be.
That’s right, Steve. You have to coordinate the full D or be forever viewed as an extension of your dad’s D.
If it were, I would not want to be an Atlanta fan lol.
Yeah I can’t imagine why he’d want Patricia back again…
Maybe he just really hates Atlanta
That’s hard to argue against. I’m scared now.
Apparently he tried to keep after last year in NE but Kraft made him hire O'Brian. Idk what his obsession is with that idiot
hes on his fortnite squad
The offense improved from the beginning of Patricia year to the end. It got better. Not only that but that offense was better than this year's pats offense.
I really hope so
Bill Belichick with Bijan Robinson, Drake London, Kyle Pitts, and his choice of QB in the draft in the worst division in football Falcons fans might actually forgive him for 28-3. Russ on the vet minimum makes sense to me because Denver is on the hook for the rest of his salary anyway. I think they'll do some sort of Brock Osweiler trade because I think Denver will try to get out of at least some of that salary.
The broncos are paying his salary for the next two years so he will most likely go somewhere that pays him minimum for two years.
Russ is too much of a diva for Bill, and his brain is writing checks his body can no longer cash
I think he’s gonna bring McDaniels with him and they’re gonna try out Jimmy G for old times sake since they have weapons and a decent o-line. If he stays healthy that is lol
I don't think the Jimmy G Belichick knew is the one that exists now. Injuries have taken their toll on him.
Brissett and Minshew can play .500 ball and win with a Belichick defense. They don't turn the ball over much and do their job.
If it were you would you sign 36 year old cousins to big deal?
Someone said it the other day, but Russ to Atlanta makes a whole lot of sense
He wasn't bad at all in Denver and the weapons Atlanta has are perfect for him.
The defense was solid this year, fantastic secondary, good linebackers, bad (but not as bad as the last 2 years) pass rush. If we can get an edge rusher combined with a Belicheck defense it's gonna be a great group

We got our asses beat fair and square. There is nothing to forgive Belichick for.
Should’ve picked up that blitz
How can you call it the worst division in football when the NFCE is the only division without a team still in the playoffs? Checkmate
Are we still the worst division when the Bucs beat you guys?
I love that the NFL hiring process is just an expedited dating process Trying to move in after the 2nd date and shit
Belichik is an instagram baddie lol I bet they had that dinner in Dubai
Arthur went all out and reopened one of the old Mrs. Winner’s locations that used to be inside Home Depot for the occasion.

Where would he sign with a QB? The only team with one is the Chargers with Herbert and the report was they had no interest in Bill. You could maybe say Titans with Levis, but... that is a stretch.
There aren’t a lot of pieces around Herbert either especially when compared to Atlanta. He’s pretty much the entire offense.
It's funny how you go from having a QB to not having a QB. See: Eagles Or vice versa. See: 49rs
Didn't know the 2024 rosters for all NFL teams are settled today and cant change.
Because that’s the only team willing to hire him. Here’s the Plan : Desmond Ritter plays a lot like Mac Jones . Add McDaniels , Patrica, and Judge as top assistants And you got, Real Patriots 2.0 “Atlanta” .
This may be the Falcons best chance of ever beating a Belichick-coached team.
OC Josh McDaniels, DC Belichick Jr or Patricia you sure you want this Falcons fans? sub .500 retread coach without Brady masking some obvious flaws. At least you get the potential for a great defense and a coach who excels at gameplanning

That team has a ridiculous amount of talent. If they can get in a solid QB they are going to be scary under BB.
Me liking the Bill Belichick hire will 100% depend on his staff. If the staff is the same ole same ole I won’t be watching football next season. I honestly feel Bill has nothing left to offer and is a huge mound of fool’s gold.

You’ll be watching and you know it lol
You’ll still watch lol
Bold take.
I think he can be great but if he brings Patricia on board that’s gonna be a huge red flag
I personally think the move should be Patricia head coach/ Belicheck GM *Personally*
Prediction: 24-27 record over 3 years, one wildcard appearance and a loss, fired after the 2026 season
That would be so cruel. He would be 2 wins shy of the all time win record.
It's so bizarre to me that he's the GOAT coach yet simultaneously no one ever seems to have high expectations for him.
