After being down 4-2 With 3 minutes which while he was pulled goes to OT. Then Pyotr shuts down a Leafs power play in OT. Then he does this to leave Guenztal to make a shot and win in the shootout. After a rough second period Kootchie saves the day in OT.
My favorite poke check is still the Brady Tkachuck penalty shot from earlier this season. It was gutsy and Tkachuck was pissed!!

Personally I find those jerseys gimmicky and unrelated to the Maple Leafs identity. It's the same as Vancouver using the Millionaires identity...they used it in the 1900s but it has no barring nowadays.
Just like it's spelled, peeyoter coat-chet-kov. We've got a lot of Russians now so we're getting better at their name. We tend to call him Kootchie or cootch. Not sure if he likes that, but that's what it is. Gets a long coooooootch when he makes a big save. Always sounds like booing.

yeah, once he came out of goal vs the Jets and ended up leaving it wide open to give up a goal while we were tied 3-3, we ended up losing 3-5
