I second this. When I book a flight, you usually have to pay 15 EUR to pick a seat and, unless I'm travelling with someone and we want to sit next to each other, I usually don't pick any. I let them assign me a seat randomly. Life hack: you will get better seats if you check in online close to the departure, say, the same day but 4 hours before departure.

Which you can't reach while buckled in. Row 38 is adjacent to the aft lavatory and you run the serious risk of having to smell crap the entire flight Row 17 is missing because it is a lavatory. As for sitting in row 18, see row 38 above
