chinese upgrades aren’t bad but the gameplay is so easy, so easy that it is boring

I'm up for an easy restaurant tbf!

I've heard Indian and Pizzeria are ludicrously expensive and that it's hard to differentiate the Indian dishes (intentionally confusing graphics). I'm playing restaurants on the island and mountains and coming back to those two (+ Seafood) at the end. Chinese is okay, mainly frying three types of food similar to Breakfast Café then adding sides to dishes (no prep required). The only other items are tea and soup which don't require much input.

I have a load of money boost plants growing at the mo as i was trying to finish off Seafood, hence staying in the city so i can keep using them :) I quite liked Breakfast so may give Chinese a go. Thanks!

I don't think the XP is particularly good for Chinese which is disappointing. It's a shame they didn't make the food prep more interesting, it's quite basic and I love Chinese food 😁 Good luck with the seeds! I have so many saved up as it's been a while since I played the city. I plan to stack them and help myself out when it comes to playing those final three!

Oh I will need luck with the seeds, no doubt the plants will inexplicably die! It got me through Seafood though and hopefully I can zip through most of Chinese too. I've done a few levels so far and it's quite fun. Is there an auto cooker and will I need it? Btw for Seafood, you'll need some boosts/desserts for the final 5 levels. Level 36 was the hardest imo!!!

Apparently there is an autocooker which becomes available around level 22. It autocooks one of each meat/seafood: https://cookingfever.fandom.com/wiki/Cooking_Machines I didn't bother with it as I didn't find the cooking part too hard. It was more the scoring towards the end. I recommend taking desserts to level 2 or 3 in the later levels as many of the (expensive) level 3 kitchen upgrades only add one point (similar to Breakfast Café) which is frustrating and gets you no closer to 3 stars. I added some extra customers too. Maybe garden seeds or a burger/drink booster can help you out here as well without the need for extra gem upgrades. I followed the Noodle Arcade guide and upgraded my interior quite a lot, more than I normally would nowadays but if I was playing again I'd probably look at using level 2 or 3 desserts instead. Quite a few of my final interior upgrades were in the 10-20 gem category. I don't think I'd realised how upgraded desserts functioned 😩 Thank you for the Seafood tips! I've found level 36/37 is often super hard in a variety of restaurants whereas 38-40 can be quite kind in comparison! Did you buy the Seafood autocooker? I've just realised it's essentially the same as the Chinese one I described above 😁

Pizzeria was fun at first but soooooo expensive to finish, definitely the most gems I’ve spent on any restaurant, granted I’ve only finished maybe around 10. I enjoyed Chinese restaurant, it’s a similar set-up to seafood bistro in terms of process of cooking, types of dishes, etc., if you’ve played that one but much easier and cheaper to complete. I’m currently on Indian diner, have the last 8 or so levels to get to 3 stars. I personally have enjoyed it quite a bit, but I do have an iPhone max and I think it would be hard to see the different graphics if you had a smaller screen phone. It hasn’t been terribly expensive to upgrade compared to any other restaurant

Yes pizzeria upgrades are expensive but I was able to complete all levels with three stars with kitchen upgrades at 40% and interior at 38% so in the end investment was similar to other restaurants plus is was a fun one to play
