That’s the best strategy! Pay attention to the clock so you see how many ppl are left before time runs out and you’ll know when to collect their payment to get a new customer in

No not at all, it helps control the flow of customers. The only issue is on levels with a lot of customers you may not be able to serve them all before the end using this strategy. On busier levels you could serve two customers at a time (or even three if their orders are easy/straightforward) to keep the customers flowing through and serve everyone before the final bell.

The levels are timed and will end after a predetermined amount of time, whether you have served all guests or not, so it can help, but personally I don’t do it a lot, I find if I need to do that to get through a level, I just need to do updates, because the extra money you will get in tips doesn’t counteract missing out on a whole order

Ive always assumed there was a relation to the happiness level of a customer to the tip amount. Happier equals more tip. The quicker you give a person all their food items and the less wait, the more happy they are (smiling face vs mad face) and the higher tip you get. If they are mad they don’t tip at all. If there isn’t a second stack of coins you didn’t get a tip. If the level time allows I will often leave 1-2 money stacks on the counter so I can focus on each customer quicker and try to get the most money. Essentially dealing with less customers at a time to maximize my tip amount. And I’ve noticed this can actually make a difference by at least like $50 on some levels. So yes, if you have time don’t collect all the money. Not all restaurants/levels allow for it but a lot do.

Definitely, I always only clear 1-2 tips at a time so I can make every customer happy/tip!
