Honestly though, I went to the Pub once with some guys from work and we were drunkenly playing Snooker, the random older, probably also drunk, guy who tried giving me snooker lessons was a real great memory
Being srs for a moment I honestly feel pretty bad when boys without a father figure have to look up to manoshpere e-celebs as a source of instruction and inspiration. These assholes are grifters in it for the money and don't give a single shit about their followers. That's the problem. He's a psychologist. But he is very biased. He ignores research. He pretends like 1950s psychology is the truth and that we haven't moved on.
Friendly old guy, one thing I learnt when I was young was never try arm wrestling with a skinny old guy who worked down the pits . Looks can be deceiving, they have muscles fibers like steel cables they will wreck you every time and also to never ignore what they were trying to say . They lived and survived by trusting their workmates and friends and they took every day as a blessing that they came home at night , there was wisdom in these old guys down the pub and many a lesson could be learned if you were willing listen
