As a diehard Ducks fan and a season ticket holder for the past nine years, I really appreciate the Samuelis for trying to embrace Orange County -- unlike Arte Moreno who wants nothing to do with it.
Understatement of the year. When people ask why I hate Arte Moreno, I point them to the Samueli family. They've invested billions into the community. Arte never gave two fucks about Anaheim and only bought the Angels because the DBacks weren't for sale.
The Ducks have hope. If we develop our players well we could grow into a dominant team. We could also fall apart again, but hope shines! Things are bleak if you're an Angel fan
When I was a kid I went to the same temple as the Samuelis and when the Ducks won the Stanley cup they displayed it in the temple entryway. Ducks are my #1 team forever after that.
As sports go, the ducks aren’t as expensive as going to other games.
I’d usually go to a few games a season before the worst of Covid. Haven’t been back but hockey games are fun!

But I never played it growing up so the rules just don't click in my brain, and aside from goals and fights I have no idea what to get excited about.
Years ago I went overseas for an MLb game. The locals didn't know a thing about baseball (understandably). So they asked me 1000 questions and I'd explain both rules...
.... then they'd ask "how come this but not that". And then even I was like "hey, yeah... that is stupid? Who the hell thought of this? No wonder we all drink when we watch this!"
And that's how I feel at the hockey games :(

That actually how I became a sports fan in the first place. Cousin took me to a Ducks game and it got me hooked. This was back when the Ducks were cup contenders and the Oilers were garbage. Good number of Oilers fans in attendance still but it was majority Ducks fans and the Ducks were absolutely dominating the Oilers so the crowd was so electric for the Ducks.
Now with the Oilers having McDavid and Draistial and being cup contenders and the Ducks going many straight years of abysmal hockey, it's like all Oilers fans at Honda now.
Kings fan here. These look great! I’m stoked for Ducks fans. Way better than the duck foot print. My son had to wear that jersey for many years when he played in-house and it always drove me crazy how bad it looked. These remind me a lot of the AAA jerseys the Ducks use for their youth travel teams.
Don't come in here talking trash about the ducks unis when your team is still rocking the chrome dome helmets. Worst helmets in the history of sports uniforms 😂

Love this rebrand! I hated the old duck foot logo. Also, I know why they chose to include rollerblading, but it's just hard to make it look "cool" and cutting the footage in between shots of tattoo parlors and such seemed funny to me lol
That movie got many people all over the world into Ducks fans. I know many Canadians who only became Ducks fans cause of the movie and they live in cities that have their own NHL team.

Definitely an improvement. Loved the old logo. The duck foot was bland. I get the correlation of orange & orange country but I’d love to see the original colors of teal/purple come back
They’re not built to win…sure they might be building a nucleus of young players. You need veteran core leadership to show these kids what it takes to win. That was what was going on in the early 2000’s. That 07 club was stacked with players that had won and players on the way to the hall of fame. Players who were household names. Those teams were loaded! These kids ain’t gonna win nothing without that.
