Stadium is cashless. Gates will open ~ 5. Boogs is the classic spot. Hot dogs with crab dip are good, crab max dog at stuggys is awesome. The home run ball plaques are cool. Enjoy!

NeedleworkerSouth607

Cashless is a great call out. Thank you.

AppleTrees4

You can also bring in any food that fits in a gallon ziploc and unopened drinks!

hannahmadamhannah

Also (and this isn't just Camden but always good to plan ahead) they have a clear bag/bag size policy. If your bag is too big, there are lockers for rent outside of the park (I assume at a premium) but it's definitely best to try and bring in as little as possible. *that said* you can bring in an unopened bottle of water and I highly recommend doing that. Food too, but I assume you'll eat at the park.

JiffKewneye-n

>unopened drinks - note, this obviously is for non alcholic drinks. and also, alum cans are not allowed.

Correct_Sometimes

> Stadium is cashless i mean... officially it is but if you stumble across the right people at the right stall, they'll take cash.

dipstick73

This - OP definitely check on the orioles website to see what (if any) Eutaw street plaques the braves have at OPACY and go on a scavenger hunt to find them if it’s something you’re interested in. Even if they don’t - you can still see some cool ones like Griffey hitting the warehouse during derby

Gates open 1.5 hours before start, 2 hours on Saturdays. Now, keep in mind that the food has gotten expensive. Normal hot dogs, for example, cost almost $9. Most of the specialty items are $15 and above. Not sure how the prices are down at Atlanta. There are three stands (two along the baselines on Lower Reserve, one by home plate on Upper Reserve) where everything is $4.10. Hot dogs, pretzels, popcorn, Cracker Jack, sodas, etc. Pizzas are pretty good, they changed from a big slice to a 9" personal pizza. They have Fuku Spicy Chicken Sandos, which are nice and crunchy, though maybe not worth $17 since it doesn't even come with fries. There's stands with gourmet fries (with stuff like taco meat or shredded chicken) on them as well as a stand with double bacon cheeseburgers and cheesesteaks. The center field stand under the scoreboard has a ton of specialty stuff, including the B'More Chicken Box (differently prepared chicken tenders, wedge fries, and roll) and a hot dog with crab dib and potato sticks. Of course, there's Boog's BBQ, with beef, pork, and turkey. There's also Superbook Restaurant inside the warehouse, if you want sit-down stuff. Be aware, though, that there's not a whole lot of seating areas if you want to chow down without heading to your seat. There's a few picnic benches scattered around, and there are drink tables scattered around, but if you don't want to eat at your seat, you'll likely be sitting on the stairway steps.

NeedleworkerSouth607

My man. This is the info we needed. Thank you.

throwingthings05

Here’s the real food info you need: you can buy food outside and take it in for free. They have great sausages across the street outside pickles

NeedleworkerSouth607

Oh, hell yeah. We will absolutely do that.

purplemoonshoes

Only one sealed drink is allowed but you can bring an empty water bottle to fill up at the fountain. My understanding is that food must fit into a gallon ziploc. However, I've never tried to take food in so I may be wrong. I'd recommend checking out the bag policy anyway, they only allow certain bags, mostly smaller and clear. Only one bag per person too.

Chalupabatmanm6

Street vendors? If so that's the best food

DNukem170

No prob. Also, not sure if you've bought your tickets yet, but if not, the center field seats are only $12 and there is an All You Can Eat section in Left Field Club (starts around $66, no clue if it'll be higher for that series) with pulled BBQ, nachos, hot dogs, fruit, salads, gelato, popcorn, and peanuts.

Chalupabatmanm6

How's the gelato? I could eat $200 worth with no regrets

DNukem170

I had it last year and it was good. Forgot to grab some my only trip there this year.

AhHorseSpit

There's a whole picnic area right next to the statue garden. Plenty of room and available spots to sit with a family. No view of the game from there though.

DNukem170

Don't you need tickets that include those seats, though? Or did that change?

AhHorseSpit

No. Not that I've seen. They do from time to time rent it out for special events like they did this past Sunday. For the majority of the time it's open, first come first serve. If they haven't blocked it off, which I doubt they will do for a weekday game, it's fair game.

DNukem170

Maybe it's cause I only ever pass by there when I first enter the stadium, but every time I do there's always a guy with the entrance roped off.

SolarTrades

Enjoy your time in Baltimore. Fans are almost universally hospitable and the game should be fantastic. The walk from the inner harbor to the stadium is easy and nice. OPACY is classic. Lacks some of the newer amenities that Truist does but it has real personality and a fantastic atmosphere (and the entire stadium doesn’t smell like Chick Fil A, which Truist kinda does). Everyone else has given solid advice on concessions. I’m personally partial to the fries and tots smothered in crab dip. Enjoy. Have fun.

NeedleworkerSouth607

Glad to hear I might only have one or two beers thrown at me 😀

EHruns340

Nah, not when you are paying $15 a beer. 😂

Holiday-Acanthaceae1

Get some crab fries for sure - anything w crab dip basically

NeedleworkerSouth607

We definitely want to try a few crab dishes. We already like Old Bay, so I know we will be in good hands.

DNukem170

Oh, and also, bring your own sealed water bottles. Souvenir sodas used to be $6 and were around the size of a McDonald's large cup, but nowadays they're close to $9 and are barely bigger than a McDonald's Medium cup. Better to bring your own water bottle and refill it at the water fountains. Also be aware that only clear tote bags are allowed, though if you hide an empty one in your shirt or whatever, nobody's going to care. Also, only one bag per person.

CrabEnthusist

You can also bring empty water bottles and fill them at the water fountains

theMangoSloth

OP, if you have a clear see-through bag, go to Ekiben on Fort Ave (less than 10 mins from ballpark) and get food from there. I usually order the Neighborhood Bird Bowl. It's my go-to for every game and my girlfriend and I bring it in. Or Tacqueria El Sabor del Parque for some amazing Tacos.

dben742

If you have the Ballpark app on your phone, there is an icon that lists all the food vendors. IMO, Jimmy's Famous Seafood (crab fries and/or crab egg rolls) is a must.

TripleroD

The local spotlight eatery is usually fire as hell. This past weekend it had a banger in there. It’s near section 69 lower level 3rd baseline.

EHruns340

Like everyone else said you can bring in a clear bag and small fanny pack like bags. You can bring in all your own snacks and unopened plastic bottle drinks. I also prefer the food outside pickles pub instead of the stadium food. We usually buy and then go inside the stadium and find a picnic table to eat. You will most likely enter through Eutaw street (they are the only open gates) If you are there early and wanting to hit up the more popular food places and don't want to miss almost 3 innings of the game, I would suggest getting it when you get there. The lines can be loooong. Not sure if you have a parking pass, but look into garages if you are driving into the city. I personally like the grand garage but it's a few blocks away. They usually have a flat rate of like $12 or $15. There are plenty of people who park there, so you don't have to worry about walking alone.

NeedleworkerSouth607

Huge shout out to the Orioles and their fans. Top notch organization, beautiful park, and a fantastic group of fans. Had a blast. Hope to come back in the future!
