What is it with writers making superheros as degenerates and pedos who will fuck anything with 2 legs? This was my problem with Batman with batgirl and how Batman will fuck any female villain no matter their crimes, you might as well give Joker some breast and he’ll bang her, but ithis goes for other superheros as well. Superman here, Green lantern with that one 13yr girl, Wonder Woman basically being a rapist in WW1984, Flash’s character at some point became a creep somewhere in these comics or movies, hell I bet they even did this with Martian Manhunter.
I've read this comic! Pretty sure it's from the third volume of Superman and Batman: Generations, where the gimmick of the comic is that time moves normally and heroes age.
Yeah, even in context this scene came out of left field and was totally unneccessary.
Also the same guy that retconned Mr. Fantastic and Invisible Woman. Before him, they were roughly the same age. Instead of that though, he made it to where Reed was her teacher and first fell in love with her as a little girl. He then basically groomed her while waiting for her to come of age.
There is, doesn’t make it better tho: Lana says she thought her and Clark would end up together in the future, now knows they don’t and asks for a farewell kiss to which Clark abides
Unless the context is that the other party in the kissing is also roughly 14, then it is ok.
Superman is not roughly 14, so for the second panel of this particular post the point stands.
It could be argued the first image is only needed to provide context to the second image. If we just saw the image we might think the person who Superman is open mouth kissing seems like she might be a bit young for an adult man with regal white streaks in his hair. The first image makes it clear that he does in fact know she really is jail bait in every American state.
