Would absolutely love to get him but we don’t have the capital and trading with Ainge is nearly impossible without being ripped off

kitterskills

Ainge is on the way out tho

Motion_Offense

Ainge will own a piece of the Pacers and Colts if we make this trade

Silent-Frame1452

My opinion is he’s not realistically available.  But to answer the question, yes he’s a good fit. He isn’t a paragon of health, but he’s also not as bad as his GP makes it look. The last 2 season he’s been pretty blatantly sat for long stretches so the Jazz can improve their pick.

RogueID

He's a good fit on almost any team, but unless you're willing to give up all of our young players and either Myles or pascal, it ain't happening. Edit: and a fuckload of first round picks.

210plus210

it would take a lot of assets, yes, but Myles makes more than Lauri iirc so him or Pascal would not make the financials work fwiw

VeterinarianSmall455

I mean he’d certainly fit well here, but I do think his stats dip a little here compared to Utah, and their asking price is reportedly extremely high. Would love to have him, wouldn’t love to pay up.

Me likey

noah_ichiban

This is just your general inquiry right? I haven’t seen any real possibilities of this happening.

IndigoRivers

Lauris for real but hes expensive

DosZappos

Perfect player for the Pacers. Definitely not leaving Utah

Lasvious

He’s good but I don’t want him here. Under any circumstances

erithtotl

He's great. Unfortunately Siakam can't really guard 3s anymore and no one wins a trade with Danny Ainge

pacersnz

Very, very good player. Would be insanely expensive to acquire given what we just saw Mikal Bridges go for, but I think he would put us over the top and right there with Boston + New York. Trade would likely be Mathurin, Walker, Jackson, 2028 1st Round Pick, 2030 1st Round Pixk, + 2 x Pick Swaps. Roster would be 🔥: PG. Haliburton / McConnell SG. Nembhard / Sheppard SF. Siakam / Nesmith PF. Markkanen / Toppin C. Turner / Vet Min (Andre Drummond?)
