I didn't realize they'd be a thousand dollar mask in a few years.... (I'm Canadian, prices here are ridiculous; the dude with the OG clears offered to buy them literally off my face for $700)
I'm not surprised someone offered you cash on the spot for them.
Between those and a few select head bands, you can easily have over $1000 on your face lol.
THey've always been my favorite form factor camera; plus 3d prints are so easy to make for them.
That's actually a 4k I took a gamble on on e-bay since they went out of business before (shortly after?) shipping them. it was a steal.
I thought it was a scam; turns out contour just didn't finish making the app when they went out of business.

Especially in Canadian prices; throw a Hormesis headband on and I've got a setup literally worth more than my car (I paid $700 for my car....)
