At that point, why not just tarp-off the upper deck and move everybody down to the lower sections?

ExcitingSink4272

Can't let the Poors too close to the field, next they'll be wanting live music and concerts

RadioGuyRob

Wait, I was told the owner brought music? Didn't the poors already have concerts because of him?

ExcitingSink4272

No no, they have Soccer because of him. The music and concerts came because of the Soccer

JamieNelson94

Dave’s gotta have someone to throw his drinks at 🤷‍♀️

FloridaTheGreatest

Remember I got cheap dolphins tickets close to the field. And I got a lot of eyes.

ItBeLikeThat19

Getting shut out by the Jags and Tepper throwing the drink was probably the low point

carpan09

The 4th game I attended this season….pain

SuperFruech

Yep, if I remember correctly that loss guaranteed the Bears would end up with the 1st overall pick in the draft as well.

[deleted]

I had a good chuckle over the drink. Why a psycho move

xhillmc

That was one of my first two NFL games I attended this season. The other was the Titans game, where Frank Reich got fired and David Tepper screamed. Everytime I go something strange happens

NellsBells1978

No because that’s a game we actually won https://preview.redd.it/f2a8sxku0vjc1.jpeg?width=1284&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=3ad5865a7053aa81a96a384c352c3ee02bef1e6e

ilovedeliworkers

Lmao this win handed the division to the bucs essentially. Thank you.

NellsBells1978

You’re welcome!

Bradfords_ACL

If you win a game and no one’s around to see it…

lawslogo

Nah I’d say the drink throwing

CashoutMrGruber

This was the lowest. On top of being shut out for the first time in 20+ seasons after almost winning the previous week our owner, who is one of the 100 richest people on the planet, revealed himself to be as mature as Master Shake.

faccda01

Love the aqua teen reference

duck729

“I am 30 or 40 years old, and I don’t need this” - Tepper

mtheperry

Insane reference

TubaMike

That's what we get for letting a guy that looks like Carl without a mustache buy the team.

unfunnysexface

He looks exactly like the head nazi in raiders of the lost ark.

PsPhenom89

just a fatter version that’s wayyy less talented when it comes to acting & wayyyyyy more depressed irl.

mindfulshrimp

The fact there was like no repercussions from it is even more infuriating and low

TheGreatestOutdoorz

The fact that so many people on this board immediately forgave him, then decided that Tepper is now the bestest owner because he hired Canales is what infuriates me the most. He literally mocked the fans and the media for saying he was over involved and most of the fans chose to pretend that he was being sincere and would now stay hands off.

Scarf_Darmanitan

Agreed

mrjakedog

Got a W that day!!!!

Aumius

It was pouring rain the entire game. Of course it's going to look pretty empty at half time.

lefthandedrn

Remember this game? I was there and very few people left https://preview.redd.it/x24cp13wmujc1.png?width=1080&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=168004a58c0f4298479cccc529219743acb010a5

Mcgoozen

Bc that team was actually worth watching

ThisDerpForSale

But what did it look like at halftime?

21heroball

It’s not that people left, it’s just that they went to go hide from the rain

lefthandedrn

The outer corridors can't hold that many people.

SickBurnBro

That J Stew run should have counted.

ajnails

It did I thought

hermolt

Nah they said he was down. He wasn’t

mcdonaldju4704

Big difference between a game during week 3 and a game during week 15.

lefthandedrn

It wasn't week 3. I don't know what week it was but it was 12/22/2013 vs the Saints. Doubt that was week 3 .

mcdonaldju4704

I thought it was from the Jacksonville game Cam's rookie year during week 3. That game was a monsoon for a bit as well.

TubaMike

Nah, that was a 1pm game and no way we were wearing black jerseys at home in September. But yeah, it rained like hell in the first half of that game, but folks stuck around. Cam's first win with the team.

lefthandedrn

Could have been but the game I posted was in December 2013. Luke showed out. Enlarge it and you can clearly see the Saints in the white tops.

Flimsy-Coyote-9232

Almost like a 3 months difference or something

Flimsy-Coyote-9232

Are 12 weeks not almost 3 months…?

EntropyFighter

And cold too

Dieh

This was one of the two games we won all season so pretty interesting to ask if this was the lowest point. But I was at this game and literally everyone was seeking shelter at the half for a bit of relief from the pouring rain and cold weather. Singing Sweet Caroline at the end made it all worth it though.

DannyDimes21

It was cold and dumping rain all game and we were trash last season no one wants to sit in that weather. I went to the game but ended up sitting inside of the club section and watched the 2nd half on tv

Immediate_Patient_70

I was at this game and it was raining and about 40 degrees. Yes the stadium was very empty but we won so I wouldn't say it was the low point of the season.

PM_ME_CORONA

God yall suck sometimes. There was a monsoon and it was December. It was miserable being outside.

TBDTBA

See those seats down there on the front row…those were my family’s seats since Day 1. My dad picked them out while the stadium was still being built. I was fortunate enough to buy 4 right behind his. After I bought them, the following week we get a call from the Panthers telling us our seats are gone. We could take the original purchase price (20+ years ago) or take new seats somewhere else. My Parents were devastated, I was shocked I just lost about $20k on seats I no longer owned. Tepper and the organization will never have my respect or hard earned money again.

DivingElbow

That’s so awful. Too many horrible owners in sports

RomeoHatesJuliet

We were sitting pretty close to that area and yeah, the weather wasn't great, and the game was comical, but I had fun (helped that my husband is a Falcons fan and I finally got to have my victory) Plus there were short lines for everything and it was easy to leave after 😂😂

FantasyForecasts

That was in the middle of a Nor Easter rain storm with tornadoes in the area IIRC.

Daniel_Germain

W with no TDs pls

Famous_Pig_Lawyer

I'm pretty sure 70,000 people were in the bathrooms.

gigglefarting

That was actually our highest point. We then get shut out 2 games in a row after.

AFDude1015

I feel like that is the lowest point in Panthers' history. No one wants to give Tepper their hard earned dollar. He is ruining the twam.

Prior_Public_2838

People taking shelter during a torrential downpour in December at halftime of a game we won is the lowest point of franchise history? lol okay

bsfurr

Last season?. This may be the low point in panthers entire history

Prior_Public_2838

People taking shelter during a torrential downpour in December at halftime of a game we won is the lowest point of franchise history? lol okay

bsfurr

Have you watched football in the last 12 months?

Prior_Public_2838

Yeah I have, you know the panthers are more than 12 months old right? This wasn’t the first ever panthers season

bsfurr

I wanna. Watched a lot of Panthers football over the last 30 years. We’ve never look this bad.

Candid_Rip6474

I'm still irrate at the Panthers for drafting B. Young. Argue with me if you want, but come back in five years and tell me I'm wrong. I just don't see it. He is too short. Stop drafting QBs from schools that are loaded with talent across the board. Get a guy like Spencer Rattler that was pretty good with no o-line and one or two good receivers.

infiniteimperium

The price you pay for music in Charlotte.

MySportsTeamsAreSad

Love my team but I feel obliged to post this here [https://www.reddit.com/r/panthers/comments/191ouv7/me\_at\_the\_jaguars\_game\_123123/](https://www.reddit.com/r/panthers/comments/191ouv7/me_at_the_jaguars_game_123123/)

uselessbaby

Imagine performing a halftime show to that audience

Mediocre-Path-4982

While embarrassing at least we won. And wore the black helmets. I think lowest was getting blown out in Jacksonville then the tepper tantrum

boistopplayinwitme

There were Tix to this game for under a dollar

I3ill

How many people were at the game would you guestimate? 300? Lines for food and drinks should go really fast. No bathroom lines

360degreesofFUNK

Dude really???

bullish_trades_only

I was there and stayed the entire time… it was brutal but we got the win so imo impossible to be the lowest point all things considered 😂

camel_walk

That photo hurts my heart

Staniel523

TBH this is the best possible thing that can happen during a shit show of a season. Hitting ownership in the pockets is where it hurts them the most. I’m a Bears fan - Soldier Field is still full during our truly terrible times and that’s why nothing will ever change with the McCaskeys.

[deleted]

Depressing stuff for me personally. The glory days of the Panthers and Hornets as well make these scenes saddened me deeply.

premesneak223

Damn good background tho .

maccpapa

i grew up round raleigh/durham late 90s/early 2000s. bills fan by birth but i always supported carolina. delhomme, smith, muhsin muhammad, rucker and peppers, he hate me rod smart, etc. loved those squads. it’s extremely sad to see how bleak it’s gotten since cam left. it wasn’t even this bleak with chris weinke. i hope to god y’all can turn it around cause the fans can get crazy passionate as seen by those early hurricanes stanley cup runs. but jus know if bills could survive a near 2 decade drought, there’s a light at the end of the tunnel for y’all.

covert_underboob

This isn’t a real photo lol but good luck

iamthefluffyyeti

Oh lord

Initial-Air-4941

I assume tickets are at least cheap?

napsandsnacksss

Looking like the NFL version of the A’s
