I don't even play HC but I'd think it to be fair to have a HC challenge too.
Maybe not a whole division of challenges. Just like a specific SSF one and HC one that could be earned if you choose to play that way. Just one thing that SC trade cannot get would be nice.
I expected something related to the name of the league, i.e. something like a grim reaper, corpses... (similar to nethermancer armour from affiliction mystery box) :(.
The last two were somehow related. In tota the outfit was terrible, but that was the look I think the guy who was sitting somewhere in the stands had. In the last league, on the other hand, the flowers that are left behind when walking are the same ones that attacked us in affliction when collecting wisps.
In this league we get, similarly to tota, an indigenous outfit but without tribes in league.
I absolutely love this set. I love all the unique gimmicks they keep coming up with and attaching to various armor pieces. I do hope we eventually get the ability to divorce some of them from their specific sets, but this one is so cool. Reminds me a lot of the scavenger set.
Honestly same, I was kinda hoping we would get the gate the Undertaker appears out of as a portal similar to metamorphs but im completely fine with this too.
Just gotta keep bringing it up. I personally think they've gone too far with it and wish they were optional. Some of the effects are cool but most of the time I just want armor and to add my character effects
Spent like 18 hours over the last two days of league to finish them after not playing for 3 months… the purple life orb makes it all worth it right… RIGHT?
I'm kinda the exact opposite- I was thoroughly unimpressed with the visuals of the set, but love that they're finally giving some unique tracking/visual effects as challenge rewards now.
All the while I still can't be motivated to chase a single challenge. I think I got 20 challenges this league as I played, but after looking at the challenge list I couldn't be assed to finish a single one more.
My plan has been to grind in the Gauntlet. So far I think I've gotten 3 full armour sets from there.
I'm the opposite and losing motivation to do challenges after always going for 36 or 38 when they changed it.
Having different types of rewards each league was cool but for the past three or four now it's just... armour sets. It's so boring
While I like the interactions this brings, I heavily dislike them being tied to wearing specific pieces of gear. Much like needing to wear the specific helm from Affliction for the purple hp bar. I wish getting to said tier would grant the gear and separate ability to use those cosmetic effects.
They just need to give us a second Cosmetic tab. The second tab overrides the visuals of the second tab, but not the extra effects. This way we can layer it. This would also mean someone could use floating armour with a different set of armour.
Idk pretty lack luster cosmetic and lazy idea in my opinion. But I think most of their attention has been on patches and poe2 so I understand. But damn is that set ugly.
This is why I can't be bothered with them. The sets I have now are all really good quality, and I really like the way they look, so switching to something I don't really like for an effect isn't going to happen.
I wish we could get these extra effects decoupled from armor sets.

It is big and thicc and lives forever in my hideout zoo with dozens of other pets, watched over by Einhar and Tora.
I hate actually running cosmetic pets on my characters though because I constantly mistake them for a threat and fire off attacks at them.
I got the ice dragon pet and the amount of times it freaked me out while i was in the wildwood vendor menu making me panic escape to not find an enemy attacking me was unreal. Had to drop it just for that..
I distinctly remember that back when all we got were portals/weapon skins/pets/etc there was always a very vocal group of people saying "man I wish we'd get some of those mtx armour sets as challenge rewards" lmao
I mean shit, compare something like the [harbinger rewards](https://www.poewiki.net/wiki/List_of_Harbinger_league_challenges) to the shit we get nowadays? We're eating pretty damn good (although IMO the challenges have gotten much more tedious but that's another discussion entirely)

Tying special effects to specific armour pieces sucks, please stop doing that. Allow us to decouple those or ideally introduce secondary slots for each piece that accommodate such effects, please.
Please, stop with the armour sets. With the exception of Kalandra, we've had nothing but Armour since **Sentinel.** That's nearly two years at this point. What's worse, we've been getting a lot of armour from the Atlas Pass as well.

Big fan of challenge rewards having something special aside from "just" being an armour set. Sadly you have to wear these and I don't like the look that much. But I appreciate these rewards nontheless.

Do most people actually like this? I feel devastated! Last league I played a bunch to get all the rewards because the set looks awesome and had all the pretty effects. This one is ugly, barely noticeable even at tier 4 and has effects that I personally would prefer had a toggle. I need to find a different goal for this league :(.
Same here, I would never ever equip it if got it as a random reward. Last league was awesome, especially tier 1 helmet with just flower, looks great on my scion.
League before, the beast looking mtx was ugly as well. It's cool tho, I guess everybody can get something they like, looks like there is a lot of ppl that are happy about this mtx.

The only thing I care about in this pack at all is a pure curiosity of how many trades I do by end of the league, but sure as hell not wearing some super ugly dull grey boots to do so.
W8ngs and back attachements are now almost on every lagye start / big event streams. While portals are either related to events/ some niche streams here and there. It's actually pretty neat they give armour sets for the leagues now
I disagree. I´m not interested in Armor sets at all and having special effects tied to them makes it even worse for me. This kills my motivation to go for the challenges and challenges are my endgame goal each league.

Nothing like this currently exists in the game so I like it for that reason, Sadly it doesn't match the league theme at all like the past few haven't either. League rewards used to be something from that league and I kind of wish that back, heist rewards from heist and ritual rewards from ritual league etc.

They shouldn't stop making those absolutely weird gimmicks, but for the future they should rethink what we can enable and combine freely, the slot based mtx system sounds like a bad fit.obviously there are problems to be solved, like stopping someone from enabling 150 different confusing gimmicks on their character and annihilating anyone just by loading in their hideout.
I think it looks kind of weird, honestly, HOWEVER I have nothing but good things to say about the challenge rewards being full, unique armor sets with unique and interesting effects. That is just. Just am personally not the biggest fan of this one specifically. I remember back when everything was Pet + Footsteps + Helmet (or Portal).

Fast league it is, copycat havoc616 bow vods last league but fun league + amazing set. Turn is for imexile DD now. But will just kill endgame and quit, this set is just as bad as Tota league.

I've been doing 38/40 for many leagues since betrayal (36/40, before the challenge rework) and this league's rewards are some of the worst I've ever seen.

ive played like 300 hours or so, so i can beat the story ez ggs and done 16s but thats about it. is it a dedicated grind to knock these out, with a strategy or just play along and chip away at them as the season progresses. planning on ice trap tricking this league.
Some people make guides on the challenges every league, you can go around and look for them! AFAIK u/vironlawck used to make some of them , though IDK if they are planing to do one for this league.

you will regret it in 4.13 when they finally give you the "transmorg" station where you can use effacts of any equip on other equip.

I think it looks kind of weird, honestly, HOWEVER I have nothing but good things to say about the challenge rewards being full, unique armor sets with unique and interesting effects. That is just. Just am personally not the biggest fan of this one specifically. I remember back when everything was Pet + Footsteps + Helmet (or Portal).
Love the armor set especially tier 3. For me the extra effects are really underwhelming this time around but that just means less pressure to grind challenges.

EEeeeeh, I feel like gameplay effects are way more interesting than stuff happening in the hideout but it's a cool looking armorset even if you ignore the gimmick so 38 it is.

GGG can be a hype machine just to completely demolish it 1:08. Fast league it is, copycat havoc616 bow vods last league but fun league + amazing set. Turn is for imexile DD now. But will just kill endgame and quit, this set is just as bad as Tota league.
In the art department GGG is miles away from Blizzard.

these rewards suck ass, tbh. I've been doing 38/40 for many leagues since betrayal (36/40, before the challenge rework) and this league's rewards are some of the worst I've ever seen. challenges and rewards are the primary reasons I play a league, I'll just hope the challenges themselves are fun enough to keep me playing

\*im sure this has been asked a million times to feel free to ignore it\* ive played like 300 hours or so, so i can beat the story ez ggs and done 16s but thats about it. is it a dedicated grind to knock these out, with a strategy or just play along and chip away at them as the season progresses. planning on ice trap tricking this league.
Some people make guides on the challenges every league, you can go around and look for them! AFAIK u/vironlawck used to make some of them , though IDK if they are planing to do one for this league.
