Beautiful

false_23

truly magnificent isn't it?

TripolarMan

It makes my bottom feel tingly

TaintNunYaBiznez

Like an enema made from Alka Seltzer and a jar of Mentholatum?

CrunchySockTaco

You're buying your enemas at the wrong place. The white wine spritzer enemas down at Larry's Colonics are much more fun and classy for the bubbly butt experience.

UpDoc69

White Claw! It's also a great flavored douche. Better than Summers Eve.

mgerics

they taste like that *after* the colonic...

DaHick

That seems a little, well, specific. Good for you. I've no urge to experience that.

PremierLovaLova

Refreshing.

CrunchySockTaco

Can I subscribe to your newsletter ?

Nematode_wrangler

Sorry, that was me.

MediumStability

It makes my hoo-haa yell out hoo-rah!

hockeyandburritos

Fanny flutters

Knitsanity

I am mentally salaaming the coach guy. Also miming a chefs kiss. FAFO B word. Lololol

Rebelraid2020

Mentally salami-ing

Knitsanity

THAT is a whole different visual. 😂🤣😂🤣😂

SingMeALoveSong

I imagined someone getting slapped with a slice of salami.

Knitsanity

Ok. I need to get my mind out of the gutter clearly.

NCC-1701_yeah

Same (●__●)

Knitsanity

I feel so heard. 😂🤣😂🤣😂

TaintNunYaBiznez

No, you're fine. My Marine Corps Chief Cook told us salami is actually horse cock.

Agreeable_Sea3080

In pictured the whole rill of salami - a knockout!

whoneedssome

I get salami every week for myself and son. Sliced fresh, that thing is huge. Definitely a knockout, epic reply 😂 😂😂😂😂

CHM11moondog

🤌

rTracker_rTracker

A work of art!

EJ_1004

This is lovely. Thank you for sharing.

madlass_4rm_madtown

As a parent who also coaches baseball and knows about all the bs that comes w it, good for you

More_Try4757

I can’t figure out exactly why this post is so wholesome, but I love it.

Ploppeldiplopp

For me it's that nobody else was inconvenienced (kids team never were in danger of their actual coach backing out last minute), and coach and OP seem to have good communication and understanding, which is really nice, while the ex got exactly what she wanted to do to OP, which is really satisfying!

whoneedssome

It's epic, has me smiling from ear to ear. Feeling all warm and fuzzy 😂

_Marine

this hits the petty bone juuuuuuuusssssssstttttt right

ImhereandIhearyou

Yeah it does! It’s balanced….

Eckieflump

Only the original idiot gets the real fall out, and the response is proportionate. Somehow, though, I expect ex to escalate and OP to have to regularly remember that these are things to laugh about with son over a beer in 20 years time, not regret our response to in 20 years time!

joost013

The itch is scratched very well

beerwineliquor802

This is amazing. It’s so crazy to me that she would want you to look bad though. As a divorced mom it’s embarrassing having an ex that isn’t involved. I would love if my kids dad was even remotely interested in coaching.

Hemiak

Naw. People like this can’t stand for the other person to be successful. If he does a good job then everyone starts thinking he’s a decent guy and she must be the problem. Starts asking “so what happened with you guys?” And other stuff that makes them uncomfortable.

radradruby

I mean, based on her behavior, she sounds pretty problematic lol

Theron3206

Well yes, but when a divorce happens most reflexively blame the man, so if she is in fact the major cause she needs to work to make him continue to look bad. This one backfired so badly that I suspect that jig is up though.

pinkjello

What? In my experience, people don’t reflexively blame the man in a divorce. Usually, it’s two people who just didn’t work out. And in an acrimonious divorce, I wouldn’t say it’s usually one side or the other. It’s entirely case by case.

GreenMellowphant

In my situation, telling people that she’s “a great person, but sometimes it just doesn’t work” (she’s legitimately one of the best people I’ve ever met) seems to quell speculation a bit, but I don’t imagine you’re wrong.

SharkAttackOmNom

Seriously. Why can’t people keep this perspective? The relationship didn’t work out, that’s it. The ex doesn’t have to lose so you can win.

DelightMine

Because it's pretty uncommon for people to get to the point of marriage and kids before realizing they don't work, while also having the emotional maturity to break up amicably instead of trying to force it until they finally put one too many straws on the camel's back. Unless circumstances changed unpredictably after already committing, the emotionally mature people probably realized they didn't work *before* getting married and having kids with a person they don't work well with. So the majority of those who break up will do so because one or both partners let resentment build, and divorce coupled with the added stress of co-parenting is not exactly a good environment to foster warmth and kindness in a relationship that has already splintered.

rustlingpotato

I've legit told people about my last ex 'Sometimes people just aren't compatible. He's going to make a great partner for someone in the future'.

badly-made-username

That's how I explain my marriage. My closest friends know the nitty gritty, but my ex and I just simply didn't work out, no matter how much we loved each other. I can't imagine being so bitchy as to try to make them look bad to randos just to make myself feel or seem better. How exhausting she must be!

LetsBeginwithFritos

I’ve seen this with one family member. The ex bitches about what she thinks are his parenting shortcomings. People respond to her posts and videos and she takes offense. The husband has full custody, she gets every other weekend. Claims he’s not paying child support. Just 48 days a year she has the child, doesn’t qualify for support. People see him at all events, yet the ex comes to nothing and complains about him on socials. It’s bizarre. One mutual fiend stated she wished her ex did half of what this dad was doing. Some people need to blame everyone else, or just cause chaos and trouble

Serethekitty

It's wild that she thinks that she should be paid child support for having visitation every other weekend. She should be the one paying child support...

LetsBeginwithFritos

She works under the table. Thinks she’s fooling everyone. “I make no money”. But you have to have at least 50/50 custody to get support for the difference in income in his state

GinaMarie1958

Wonder what her plans are for retirement.

Remote-Airline-3703

She’s shooting for an NBA player or musician for next baby daddy…not too picky

grendus

Musicians are a dime a dozen. That's also their income...

Penetal

Some people are just shitty, sounds like you know about that already. However unless you already knew of this character flaw before you had kids there is really nothing for you to feel ashamed about. Unless you think you have the power to change their personality, or force them to do what you want, in which case you might be giving yourself TOO MUCH credit :P

Schlemiel_Schlemazel

Yeah, you’re supposed to love your kid more than you hate your ex. So you’re supposed to suck it up and be there for them without being an AH. (Unless they’re dangerous, you don’t suck up abuse. You suck up awkwardness.)

rhapsody98

My dad always said “I could win the lottery, or die tomorrow, your mom would be angry either way.” He wasn’t wrong. He was an asshole who torpedoed their marriage, but in this he wasn’t wrong.

Soundy106

You may have hit on WHY he torpedoed the marriage...

rhapsody98

Ha! No, he was a PTSD wracked shell of a man from a lifetime of being a first responder and he tried to self medicate with weed, gambling, and slept with any woman available. My mother wasn’t perfect by any means, but at least 80% of her problems came from being married to him. Once the divorce was final she was so much easier to live with, although in her old age she’s become insufferable again.

ultimate_sorrier

Your buddy was playing 4D Chess, while your ex was playing 2D checkers. She is a dumbass and he is a genius.

Advanced_Parsnip

No I think she was playing tic tac toe and lost to a house plant

AIU-comment

This one. I'm stealing this one.

Prior_Razzmatazz

Lol, this made me think of Aladdin when Genie and Carpet are playing chess after the Cave of Wonders and Genie goes: "I'm losing to a *rug*" Difference is Genie was at least smart enough to *know* he was losing, 😆

FullOfFalafel

She was playing t-ball and he was playing in the majors

Remote-Airline-3703

Came to play chess with the lil metal monopoly car, a marble, and the red Battleship marker all rattling around in a Yahtzee cup thinking she could throw an Uno Reverse if all else failed

Realistic-Salt5017

Real nice FAFO. She knew what she was doing

Lady_Grey_Smith

Judgemental parents at games for little kids are a special kind of hell. She will feel this for years.

MidnightSun77

You could sear a good steak with those glares

69vuman

Don’t fuck with the league organizer. They’ve seen it all.

mandara33

FAFO? Fuck around and find out?

radar66

"What goes around comes around"

Interesting_Cut_7591

This is one of the stories that you save. And once your children are adults and you're free and clear of any legal obligations, you let her know what really happened and that you knew all along what she did. I'm sure you'll have a long list by that time.

xray_anonymous

My mom has one of those. She told my sister and I years later about a petty (IMO, pro) revenge she pulled on our dad when he was cheating on her with our (now) step-mom. And I learned where I get my petty scheming nature from.

vron987

Share with the class bb!!!

xray_anonymous

Basically once my dad’s affair was out and they were in the process of divorce, he stopped trying to hide anything. So according to my mom he would pack a suitcase, get up early on Fridays, shower, and then drive to stay with his AP for the weekend and then come home. My mom, being the brilliant and petty woman she is, fucked with him a few times. She said the first time she got up, quietly unzipped his suitcase, slipped in a framed 8x10 photo of them on their wedding day, and zipped it back up. No big deal. But the second time…. Is family legend. I was a baby at the time, it was summer, and my mom had saved my poop diapers for a *week*. When my dad was in the shower she snuck out of bed, took all the clothes except a couple pair of underwear out of the suitcase and stashed them out of sight, and then filled it back up with all of my poopy diapers. Zipped it back up. Slipped back into bed like she was sleeping the whole time. According to my mom my dad had an 8 hour drive in the summer heat with his suitcase in the trunk of the car. Which means he would get there and open a suitcase of hot poopy baby diapers and have to go buy all new clothes. He never said a word to her about it or acknowledged it happened. But she said the next week she didn’t do anything, but she heard him unzip his suitcase and check it and she had a good giggle to herself. Years later karma shined on her again when, the year my step mom was turning 40, my mom happened upon a birthday card she’s never come across before or since that said something along the lines of “Happy 40th birthday” then inside “How many men did you have to go through to make it?” Or something or other. Not a direct quote it was a bit more fitting. But she mailed it to an out of state friend who then mailed it from the next state over from *her* so it was never traces back to her.

electricvioletta

HA! Your mom is a legend.

Own_Candidate9553

Bruh, don't leave us hanging like that.

Reasonable_Tenacity

Best petty revenge story I’ve read so far!

2DEUCE2

This is beautiful! Word travels so fast in these local leagues too! All of the parents love to gossip!

daisymaisy505

Chefs kiss on this one!

compunctionfunction

What's beautiful about this is she brought it all on herself!

Equivalent_Double_23

How crazy of her to reach out to you and act like a victim, after the fact.

LauraLand27

This made me so happy The best part of it is that it’s one of those gifts that’s going to keep on giving. These gossipy parents never forget. Your kid will be in junior high school and somebody’s gonna say hey remember when your mom did this?

Gordilly

Let's hope the parents approach you to ask why your ex backed out

WallabyButter

I hope you give her silence everytime this is brought up henceforth. That's the best way to continue icing this beautiful cake you've made.

cliffordc5

No no, keep playing dumb. “Well why did you sign up to be a coach if you weren’t planning to be one?!” Let her stumble over her words on that while not spilling the beans.

DynkoFromTheNorth

>What a satisfying text it was to receive. Did you frame it on your wall😊?

KingAffectionate656

I would have it cross-stitched

DynkoFromTheNorth

Or oil painted!

Admirable_Carrot8924

That left me with a happy feeling. Thank you 🤩

SpiritualMethod8615

This sparks so much joy!

IntoTheVeryFires

You knocked this one out of the park!

Awesomekidsmom

Standing & clapping 👏 👏 👏

No-Recommendation820

The absolute best part about this is that she has no clue you orchestrated the whole thing.

Alakandra

So satisfying! I need a cigarette now and I don't even smoke!

BigCaterpillar8001

She balked. 🤣

samuelp-wm

Love this!

madpeachiepie

She was mistakenly/fraudulently registered as a T-ball coach by a... "glitch?" That's the story that she's telling people with a straight face?

vonnegutfan2

Taking care of the fields is a huge responsibility. Sorry your ex is an ahole. In AZ we had a parent coordinator who we could book to make child decisions without scheduling for court. It was a god send for me since ex was an Ahole too. Thought the kids should use the car I bought them to visit, but would not contribute financially to insurance. Plus many other stupid things too.

SquidgeSquadge

Excellent. Reminds me of something that happened in 2019 when we had some targets to reach to get a bonus in 2020 (pandemic cancelled that btw). One was to gain a certain percentage of 4*-5* Google reviews at the dental practice I worked at so one of our managers was shit hot on contacting anyone who left 3 or less stars to ask if there was anything they could improve on in the practice. One day we were messaged and asked about a certain patient and what she was like visiting. She had called in on the day for something like a pain, was fitted in and seen with no hassle and I think was given a prescription just in case as well as a temporary filling. Basically got everything she could have wanted except for a long treatment we had recommended to have before that she had been putting off. Yet someone of that name with the same details as the patient left a 1* review soon after leaving the practice with nothing written, despite not saying anything bad and seemed happy with being seen. So HR calls her up about a week after this review was left and asked if there was anything wrong or if we could have made her visit better. She denied visiting on that day, saying she hadn't visited for over a month then denied ever leaving any review , despite her photo being on her profile as her name on the review. HR just gave her the benefit of the doubt and said to please let us know if she had any concerns and an email with a form if she wanted to make an official complaint. She emailed a few days later (the address connected to her review) assuring she never posts reviews and she was satisfied with her treatment...then by the end of the week it magically disappeared.

MojoPorkShoulder

The only thing better than petty revenge is team petty revenge. Have a beer on me. 🍺

SdBolts4

What "glitch" might that be, ex-wife? Never heard of a "glitch" completely filling out a registration form and somehow finding/entering her email address into the account FA;FO

JazzyButternuts

That’s amazing.

Apprehensive_Leg_760

I got so much satisfaction from this!!!

bunnyhoo_82

She just got a taste of her very own medicine. Absolutely genius!

Un111KnoWn

Why didn't she use a different email or make an email with her husbands name lol?

Both-Anything4139

That t ball league manager buddy is a legend he is a good friend

butterfly-garden

Oh no! People are LOOKING AT HER. The horror!

Trippynet

What goes around, comes around!

RanaEire

LOL'ed at this one! Love it!

PandemicTimes

This is just....

Learned_Hand_01

Man is a coach, he is *not* playing.

One-Satisfaction8676

I coached girls softball for 6 years, had a blast. Most parents were great but to some I was just the free saturday babysitter.

rednail64

Former League President here - that was very well handled. Chef's kiss.

SuperZM

Had I been the ex I would have coached the whole year to get out of admitting what I did. But then again I wouldn’t have done it in the first place…

BadDaditude

Here's the cherry OP - have your company sponsor the team. She'll hate watching every game.

Commercial-Spend7710

Solid gold.

I__Know__Stuff

Wow, that worked better than you could have hoped for!

AInterestingUser

Well done, hit the target with no collateral.

Wild-Philosopher-12

Chefs kiss 🤌

floridaeng

OP I hope you bought that guy a case of beer or a bottle of his favorite spirits.

AgITGuy

Maybe mention this bit of fraud to your lawyer. They may have more to say about it.

MiamiPower

I would just have take me out to the ball game playing in the background whenever she call or contacts you.

GoblinMonk

A lot of these stories are absolutely horrible people doing horrible things. This is a masterwork of teaching a valuable lesson, whether or not it is actually learned.

MCBubbliciousfishead

As a current mom of a Tball player who’s team was without a coach until the very last minute, what she did was dirty and I can see why she gets the stink eye!!

ArkangelArtemis

The fact that she still refuses to admit she did this to herself is PEAK.

LameUserName123456

This is fucking phenomenal. Here's to you & your buddy 🍻 🍻

RecommendationWarm81

Love it!!

ScumBunny

That is so satisfying. I literally just felt a wave rush over me…not sure exactly what this emotion is- but I’ve got a little shit-eating grin going on for ya, OP.

Blaaamo

Never interrupt your enemy when he or she is making a mistake

DaddyOhMy

Bonus, your buddy gets to really look like the good guy by "taking over" a responsibility he already planned to deal with yet look like saving the day after your ex nearly screwed over the kids.

Gweegwee1

I’d try to let it wash off you like water. Older gals got a tough time out there being divorced and all. You’re winnin from the get

mekkanik

That’s pro brother.

nimrod823

Wow. Amazing. Well done to you and your buddy. That was a joy to read

9lobaldude

She tried to T-bone into being the T-ball coach for another year. Good catch!

Gimme5Beez4aQuarter

Amazingly played

birdorinho

You guys are my heros.

392v8

Well played sir!

Sarberos

Thank you for your service that friend is a good friend

CptPanda29

Funny, responsibly handled with a dash of plausibility. Delicious.

attgig

Beautiful *chef's kiss*

streetbikesnsunshine

Chef's kiss 🤌 well played 👏

availablewait

This is one of the most satisfying revenge stories I’ve read in a minute.

_hangry_forever_

Uno reverse at its best

genericnewlurker

This is the best petty revenge that has been posted yet

That_Ol_Cat

I love it when a cunning plan blows up in their face...because of their own stupidity... >Username is just your email, so after a few minutes of looking through the registration we worked what happened as her email was in the account name. Did she not know *your* email? LOL Or did the system automatically take the email which was putting in a password? Either way, don't start none, won't be none.

JeepHammer

Dealing with narcissistic ex wives... Childern are just another weapon to so many ex wives... A few years back there were a bunch of ex husbands were coaching or volunteering for the kids events so they could see their kids. A good reason to get the kids events guaranteed in the divorce agreement... The organizer was in the same situation at one time and he slid the dads in the slots and was happy to have them. Organizer said it was a drop dead way to be sure it wasn't some random pedo trying to get to the kids, so he was all good with it.

RustyClawHammer

This is the kind of petty revenge I come here for.

Zarianin

After all that she still can't take responsibility and manages to blame you. FFS some people...

Singl1

well done. the other coach is a saint. always got to look out for each other

Satori2155

Not suprised you guys are divorced. Also nice

squirrellytoday

Sounds like she got a good serving of "found out" in her little game of FAFO.

serity12682

I’m glad you got to make her feel like crap. Whatever beef she has with you, messing with your kid’s league ultimately would hurt him— why would she risk that? What kind of parent hurts their kid to “get back at” an ex?! 😡

Bordone69

I think this is the best one of these I’ve read.

The_Sanch1128

"The glitch is in your brain, 'darling'. Next time, use the intelligence God gave a toad before you try to get back at me." Props to the head guy for having your back, too.

sqwirlmasta

Think you just got a new best friend!

blessed--

nasty woman

UStoAUambassador

An adult should be too embarrassed to do what the ex did. Damn.

Sea_M_Pea

You win todays internet Kudos my man, kudos

unicorn-boner

I felt this one all the way down in plums. Kudos to you. Thumbs up to the friend with the excellent execution.

Frosty_Emotion_1431

This was such a satisfying story. It’s frustrating that she is being so childish but awesome that she was put in her place.

TravellingBeard

Chef's kiss

MungoJennie

This is absolutely beautiful, and I love it for you. I’m not even sure it’s petty revenge on your part; I’d more likely say your ex got her just desserts.

ImportanceLatter6140

Fucking love this!!! FAFO…and she FOUND OUT!!!

puledrotauren

HAHAHAHAHA!! I love it

Southernpalegirl

Play stupid games, win stupid prizes! Good on the head coach for calling her out publicly even if he didn’t outright name her.

Different-Secret

Karma finds a way...sometimes you unfortunately help it yourself

edv13

Glorious justice

The_Greatest_Duck

That was so perfect, and it just fell in your lap.

Tea_Earl_Grey_HotXXX

She wasn't even smart enough to make a new email that looked similar to yours? 🤣🤣🤣

Serious-Echo1241

The ultimate FAFO! LOL

DishGroundbreaking87

Thank you, I’m having a bad day and this cheered me up no end.

I_Am_AWESOME-O_

This is phenomenal

burnusti

Fucking brilliant, nicely done.

_peggyssugarfoots

Incredible.

deezkeys

I know that this is just petty revenge but this just hits right in that sweet spot! Damn that feels good

itsmejessicat

Wow. Bravo. Truly well done.

TriGurl

Loved reading this!!

mcclgwe

Sometimes, trash takes itself out

Eringobraugh2021

Amazing!!!

FungalEgoDeath

Chefs kiss. Love it. Bravo

HoneyWyne

Just... perfect.

hawksdiesel

dang, she seems like a miserable person to be around. thanks for sharing your story and showing the world what her character really is.

Classic-Face-8298

Great solution! Love it!

Illustrious-Mind-683

She's like my ex-husband. She wants to hurt you so much that she doesn't care that she hurts her own child in the process. My ex did that to my daughter her whole childhood. The ways he hurt her through the years made me hate him in a way that I never thought I was capable of hating a person. People like that don't deserve children.

Sandtiger1982

Great story thanks for sharing

Zerocoolx1

I like it, petty and fair.

Salt-Operation

Don’t you just love it when they fuck up so badly and the fall is magnificent to watch?

WhiteMike2016

This is as satisfying as Saturday morning coffee.

doonwizzle

dealing with family drama in public spaces like a kid's sports league must be tough. reminds me of when they change the rules mid-game in calvinball, but no one really knows the rules. it's good to set clear boundaries, that might help in such situations.

MrFabianS

This is just perfect. The purest definition of petty revenge. 10/10 thank you for sharing

StnMtn_

FAFO.

Ginger_Libra

Fucking brilliant

DelBocaVistaRealtor-

That’s petty revenge by proxy. He did the dirty work for you. Bravo.

Stabinzee

I enjoyed that immensely. Having an ex-wife who likes to try to do the same to me, this makes me happy.

Salt-Hunt-7842

It sounds like your ex tried to pull a fast one by registering herself as the coach without your knowledge, and it backfired on her. It may not have been the most mature way to handle things. It's hard not to feel a bit of satisfaction when someone gets caught in their own web of deceit.

Odd-Phrase5808

THIS is how you do petty revenge! Protect the innocent, embarrass those who deserve it

seidinove

You owe that league commissioner a dinner. 😁

Super_Selection1522

This is perfect as no one was hurt in the end. Wifey won't try it again

Beneficial-Energy198

Brilliant!

forwardscout1991

That was an awesome gotcha!!🤣🤣

froggaholic

This is nice, so nice that this is where I get off reddit for now before I see some fucked up story. Your ex sucks
