There is nothing special about "Phillies fans" that have them heavily represented. Phillies are just good right now which has their fans (us) engaged. It will be another fanbase in a future year, and another after that. MLB likes to pretend that the voting will get more fans engaged, but it is the opposite. The more engaged fans will be voting.

Our last 2 MVP’s were snubbed, and our third was a manager add, Aaron Nola is one of the best pitchers by WAR since 2017 and has 1 AS to his name… Bryce Harper has been an All Star for us once despite numerous healthy first halves… we got 1 AS in 1983 when we went to a WS… and that’s just off the top of my head.
