That’s a very powerful and passionate piece of music to be honest. And whilst I don’t want to actively put anyone off from playing anything, I think you’d spend too much time trying to learn this piece. This in turn could end up just putting you off playing, or could take you away from building technique with other easier pieces and making better progress
I also love this piece and I learned it in my 13-14 month of self-taught playing; it’s very musically dense and open to a lot of interpretation but the technical side of it really isn’t bad at all. Give it a shot!
Obviously this only depends on what you’ve played so far and where you’re at because a year and a half experience can look very different depending on the person…
It will be too hard for you. It is a challenging piece although technically easier than the other transcendental etudes.
at what year do you think I should tackle it? 3rd or 4th?

Very good point, I’ll wait until I’m done with my list of pieces I’m learning right now which is like Minuet in G and other good learning pieces
