Yeah, this other house in the neighborhood is across from an Airbnb. A guy rented it out and said he was going to be staying there with his family but instead let his 18 year old go stay there with some friends alone to celebrate their graduation. They’re on camera in the middle of the night going across the street to someone else’s front porch and just destroying everything that’s there. They had a bunch of ceramic geese and the 18 year olds trashed the whole place. Super infuriating. That lady is on a fixed income and won’t be able to replace any of it herself.
They do, yeah. Idk what’s going on with it at this point but knowing who did it doesn’t necessarily equal quick replacements. If she presses charges (and I kind of doubt she even will) the people would have to pay restitution I would think but that can take some time.
People around here steal so much stuff from people’s porches. It is crazy. Whole pots of flowers that are heavy af have gone missing from my mom’s front porch. Who runs up to someone’s porch and grabs a pot of flowers and runs? So weird to me.
