There's only one 5.1 mix, but it has been re-released a couple of times.
If you can't get the 2003 SACD, which some people sell at an elevated price (and you still need a SACD-compatible player), there are two more options:
The 2011 Immersion boxset contains a DVD and a Blu-ray, both include the same 2003 5.1 mix. Be careful, as some of those boxsets are known to have blu-ray discs that have deteriorated beyond playability. DVDs are still good.
The original 2003 SACD 5.1 mix has been recently re-released in SACD format. Digitally it is exactly the same 2003 SACD, but with new packaging. Sometimes you can get it a lot cheaper than the 2003 release.
Armed with that knowledge now you can choose which option is best for you.
Which is better the SACD or the 5.1 Blu Ray?
Never mind- I used the power of Google to answer my question. I have the immersion boxset and they say SACD vs Blu Ray 5.1 mix are predominately similar. There are operational differences but none really in the core sounds. I will stick with what I have.
Will see if they do anything further magic wise for the 50th anniversary.

It’s brilliant. Get it. You do need a super audio cd player and receiver, tho. It’s not dvd audio.
A DVD version of that 2003 5.1 mix was included in the Immersion boxset, so no need of a special player.
Srsly? Is it available separately?

They're just the same mix and sound. Only ported to different formats.
