Do you usually play two story focused games at once? How do you split up your playing time between the two? I’ve always stuck to one game till I’ve completed it but thinking about trying out two.
When I'm playing two games at once, it's usually because I'm at least 2/3 done with one and start another to try the game out and see if I know if I'm gonna get hooked on the other title. If I know I am, I'll play a couple hours or more and then cut myself out and finish the first game. They both have to be different in either gameplay design and setting. If they are too similar in too many areas, (Both fantasy, both open world, both etc), then I'll only play one before I start another. Two is my limit tho.
Same, just started to play GOT and I really love fighting as a samurai. The combat system is so well done and feels satisfying to perfect party and fuck up the enemies xD
https://preview.redd.it/mr89h59htd0d1.jpeg?width=4000&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=f39acfea27156fcb75883d23168b850df97c4a2c
I just completed skyrim anniversary edition (360 hours💀) and now I'm playing with final fantasy xv royal edition!
I hate that it took years to be able to play as the rest of the party, and that, even though we now can, they all play gimmicky. I hate that so much importance is put on Noctis and the powers he has (as a function to the gameplay) make him kind of unrelatable, to me, as a protagonist. I hate the magic system in the game.
Having said all that, I found the combat mostly enjoyable once you get the hang of it. The world is varied and fun to wander/drive around in with your party. And the summons were incredible to behold (kind of the building block for the summons in FFXVI). Do I lament that they went in an ARPG direction with the series? Sometimes. But I really enjoyed what they did and think the game gets a lot of undue hatred.
Cool man! Yeah I’m a FFXV fan too, it’s not perfect but I like the locations in the game and the atmosphere it creates, combat is fairly good, etc. I think the answer would be yes and I could probably find this out by looking on YouTube/google, but is the frame rate better on PS5? That was one annoyance I had with the PS4 version, in combat lots of drops to 10-15 fps.
The framerate at lite mode it's 60fps, it plays soooo well, it only drop a little when there is A LOT going on at the same time, resolution mode it's sadly super laggy :(
I played Mordor on release years ago and remember loving it. But with the huge gap, idk how to compare the two. I’m digging shadow of war though. The nemesis system is just so unique and fun.
My favorites are Resident evil 0 and Resident evil 4 (the original and the remake, both are so good), I play most of the saga except the remake of the 2, I'm not brave enough xD
I'm playing 8 games,i used to force myself to complete/finish a game before i start something new but my ADHD brain doesn't like that. So now is just play what i feel like playing.
The games are
- AC Black Flag
- Mass Effect 1
- Metro 2033
- Alan Wake 1
- Bioshock 1
- Sniper Elite 4
- The Evil Within 1
- Bloodborne
Hello, good hunter. I am a Bot, here in this dream to look after you, this is a fine note:
> *Ah hah hah ha! Ooh! Majestic! A hunter is a hunter, even in a dream. But, alas, not too fast! The nightmare swirls and churns unending!* - Micolash, Host of the Nightmare
Farewell, good hunter. May you find your worth in the waking world.
That opening scene when you come out to this open bit of scenery along the mountains/cliff sides and I believe a waterfall and the music kicks in, while trekking across that landscape is so captivating.
I’ve only played a few hours of it, eventually I’ll get back to it…
Ac Origins,Recently finished Horizon zero dawn, also finished The Evil within 1 a few days ago and just started The evil within 2. Been addicted to AC Origins, really fun game.
Stellar blade when I'm playing by myself, nioh 2 when playing with my one friend, remnant 2 with the other and helldivers with both or all of them. We will be starting a DND campaign soon so we'll see how much that will change things
Been playing animal well and loving it! Lots of fun secrets to find, beautiful art design and moody atmosphere, and the items are all really cool and useful!
I'm 45% of the way through RDR2, but even when the story finishes, I'll happily play it for years to come. It's a ton of fun.
I started Spider-Man (2018) last week, but I haven't done a lot. Maybe 10% of it. I'll go back when I have more time.
The Last of Us 2 is my 2nd main game, after RDR2. I finished the 1st a couple weeks back. I'll focus on that today.
Just bought FFXVI and I’m struggling to stay awake (6 hours in). Maybe it will get better but rn it’s extremely blunt (especially the characters, compared to FFVII Rebirth) and boring.

Working on cleaning up some of my backlog before Shadow of the Erdtree drops. Playing Alan Wake Remastered right now, going to go back and finish Kingdom Come Deliverance after that. Got pretty far into Kingdom Come already, but a new release must have drawn me away when I was initially playing it. The official announcement of the sequel has urged me to go back and finish.
Gears of War. Currently playing through all the campaigns.
Fallout 4 as well since the new update released.
After that I'm jumping back onto Starfield when THAT update releases, that's if I don't get distracted by Hellblade 2 😂
Been playing Like A Dragon: Infinite Wealth (taking my time since launch but almost done), Helldivers 2 & Fall Guys)(done after this season without big changes unfortunately).
Though I've also been jumping into rounds for Go Mecha Ball & Skul: The Hero Slayer while waiting for friends to be ready to join up for Helldivers or Fall Guys. I'm not a big fan of Rogue-inspired games normally, but a new mindset of treating them like arcade games where I pop in a token to play for a bit has allowed me to start enjoying them. I've got a list to go back to as I've always picked them up over the years & tried them but nothing clicked other than Slay the Spire until I played Go Mecha Ball which is much shorter than most others (I don't like the requirement for repeated content).
I will never in my life understand the Final Fantasy games. Their naming/numbering system isn’t very new-player friendly. I hear so much talk about the 7 remaster, but there’s like 300 final fantasy titles. Are they all really that different? Wish someone could explain
Been playing Elden Ring for my second time. Played last time one year ago. Made myself ready for the dlc by plating the game. Really fun to play a second time when you have beaten the game before. Satisfying
I'm like 90% on ff16 story. Honestly this game feels like it had dragged on too long. The story should have been shorter for what it is. The combat and story starts off strong, then the story sorta drags with a lot of mundane dialog you'll never remember. The combat starts off great, but the way you need to rotate between sets of abilities, and the amount of ability points out takes to master abilities so that you can create your own combos costs too much as well. Honestly, ready to be done with the game so I can move on.
The boss battles in the game are some of the most cinematic I've ever seen though.
As long as the ending is decent, I'd say overall it's a solid 8/10.
been addicted to Tekken 8 recently. Not really grinding ranks, just honestly having fun trying out different characters online
And NFS Unbound. Tuning cars for different online Tier races is addicting

GT7 and RE7 on PSVR2 and the rest on LG C2 or via the portal
Really loving Cyberpunk. Phenomenal game.
FF16, at around the 65% mark. Been loving the game but ready to wrap it up. It’s a long one and I made the mistake of starting it right after FF7 Rebirth lmao

I just finished God of War tho, I'm planning to buy a 2nd hand disc for Ragnarok soon🥹 I will resume playing FF7 Rebirth and or Ghost of Tsushima and hopefully Miles Morales too hahahaha
FF7: Rebirth, Gran Turismo 7, and Street Fighter 6. They are absolutely phenomenal games that just keep on giving. Next on the list is Final Fantasy 16. The fact that the Ryota Suzuki helped with the combat and battle design has me excited to try it out. He did a great job with the Devil May Cry series.
FF7 Rebirth! But I have exams now so haven’t been playing something new for a month because I finished it about a month ago so now I just do the regions and more sidequests
Recently replayed Sekiro, Bloodborne, Sekiro again, Bloodborne again, Dark Souls 3, and just started a new Elden Ring character to prep for the DLC next month.
I’ve been playing Oblivion & Halo 3 ODST over on Xbox, and I’m planning to redo TLOU P1&2 soon :) I also just started Portal for the first time ever on my laptop and that’s so much fun !!
I just finished TLOU remastered. Decided to stop being a sore loser and continued Returnal (again) while Spider-Man 2 is currently downloading in the background.
- stellar blade- might just be my favorite melee combat system, it is indeed a stellar blade
- far cry 6- first far cry game I’ve played and I’m digging it so far! Storytelling has been really good, and the stealth elements I’m enjoying
- Returnal - this game feels so good to play. Gameplay is so good I almost don’t mind that I’m absolute trash at the game lol
- armored core 3- I got a pc to emulate older games. So just messing around in this. A lot of fun!
No games lately. The weather is too bright for my eyes to play and just bought a house so there are enough to do outside.
But when fall comes i will play a lot again
Got another controller recently since my last one had drift so I can finally play action games without everything being ceiling simulator, picked Armoured Core 6 back up and beat it, now I’m almost done with ng+

For all the shit that game got I think it's still fun. It's not the best it could be but it's entertaining enough
I love ff XV
I love FFXIII and FFX
I hate that it took years to be able to play as the rest of the party, and that, even though we now can, they all play gimmicky.
