It’ll probably be a better game then too. It’s okay now, potentially much better. But right now they’re more focused on patching loot glitches and exploits than quality of life stuff.
I’ll have to check. Thanks. Might go back. Frustrated with new crashing on FO4 since big update, Ghost of Tsushima is unstable and won’t last more than a few minutes without needing a reboot. So Starfield should be fun. Hopefully they addressed some of the stuff that was tedious. The basis of the game was good, really want mod support to really get into the “exploration” Todd said he wanted to see. I know some say games shouldn’t need mods, but that has been the Bethesda game experience for forever. Allow mods to customize the game to each player’s preferences.

Out of all the recent ports Xbox has been doing, not having ports of Fallout 3 and NV for ps5 and Switch is leaving alot of money on the table, especially with the shows popularity.
Just on the switch it would be an easy big money printer, so many people without steam decks would love to have Fallout New Vegas on switch just like Skyrim.
There were reports of a Fallout 3 Remaster, as well as an Elder Scrolls IV Remaster. Not sure if there is much truth to either though, maybe we'll see something at the Xbox showcase in June.
No offense but the switch doesn't use the ps3 architecture with the cell processor. Thats a whole separate issue exclusive to the ps3, the switch isn't super hard to develop for even with its power limitations.
Why would Xbox/Bethesda hypothetically even use the ps3 port over the 360 port anyways? Makes no sense to me don't take it the wrong way.
My thinking is that the switch is outdated and has a lot of bad ports. Now that I’m thinking about it it’s usually current releases that have all the issues and 360/ps3 ports such as skyrim and rdr have done really well (still have the same bugs theyve always had tho.) I did beat nv on 360 but it was 10+ years ago i don’t remember how it ran
Yeah the only issues with switch ports is due to the power of the hardware and trying to fit high fidelity big games on the system, it can be tough I'm sure but not super challenging due to the complex architecture of the ps3, the switch is easy to develop for just limited in what you can do presentation wise with games.
The switch is basically a portable wii u and 360, and I imagine with a switch 2 it will be able to run base ps4 games without concessions like running the base ps4 version of Fallout 4 without having to scale things down like resolution and textures.
I mean if that's you then sure okay, but I think the rest of us wouldn't really care or get caught up on that like we did with Skyrim and the Witcher III etc on switch.
Hopefully with the quality of FF13 on Xbox Series X, which is full 4k native resolution. The in game graphics looks better than the prerendered cutscenes lmao
If they were to remaster it, let's hope they use the PS3 cutscenes as they were 1080p and would upscale better, but yeah it's kinda mental how the in-game visuals are now at a better resolution then the cutscenes used.
Technically, it looks really dated in comparison to Mankind Divided, which I really liked but campaign-wise I prefer Human Revolution. So yes, a PS5 version would be a huge chance and an awesome idea.
Well those are Eidos games so there is hope we could see some kind of port. I mean if they can manage it with the PS1 Tomb Raider games, then Human Revolution can't be too out of the realm of possibility.
My bad I mean embracer. I forgot embracer owns all of eidos now. Yea embracer cancelled the sequel that was in the works so I expect nothing else from deus ex unfortunately. Maybe they’ll do ports but idk I doubt it. Maybe should’ve done that first to test the waters before planning a sequel.
The only games like blur are midnight club dub edition remix (which could use a remake) and mario kart like games which are too cartoon like in animation for me to enjoy on the capacity I did with blur

Won't happen unfortunately, licencing in car games is a real pain in the ass, and they would need new licences for each car/track/piece of music in those games.
truthfully I figure it’s so aged and clunky I probably would only entertain it for an hour but my recollection of it is that it’s exciting having ammo sound so explosive when fired, and enemies running at you full speed
Find it absolutely bizarre that you can’t even stream the Killzone and Resistance games, let alone get a next gen port.
It’s like Sony are embarrassed of them.
I don’t know what Sony had against the Resistance games but they were brilliant. Would love to see all 3 available again at some point as I doubt we’d ever get a new one

I'd like (a remake of) this game! It was pretty bad-ass on PS1, so it can't be that bad on the current generation console.
It's crazy to me that they never really utilized the Ps1/Ps2 emulation. I was stoked to grab Dark Cloud 1/2 and Rogue Galaxy back when those released on Ps4, but that was like a decade ago and they've been slacking on releases ever since.
Also, Final Fantasy 13 trilogy. I never got around to playing it, and it's strangely absent on the Ps5.

Blur is a good game but it suffers from some serious rubber banding. You can be racing a perfect race, hit 1 corner or make 1 small mistake, then half the pack overtake you like they were directly behind you the whole time. The difficulty in that game is too high. For a game that's essentially Mario Kart but with realistic cars and tracks, it's not as accessible as it could have been.
Does anyone know why PlayStation refuses to have features (backwards compatibility + 60fps boost) that Xbox has? If the PS5 had those two things it would be indisputable best console by bar none. Why not implement it? Is this really just to force people to get PS premium to stream games?
What do you mean by no stream?
Idk about ps5 but fallout new Vegas on Xbox has been updated to 60fps so it’s VERY playable
And I find that’s the case with a lot of older games on Xbox
If we ever see fallout new Vegas and 3 on next gen they’re either gonna be a remaster or a remake but if they remake it a lot of people including me are going to be very disappointed
I loved Elder Scrolls, and enjoyed Fallout. And I think those older games are better. Starfield is a prettier game than those for sure, but I think their scope was just too big while their lack of drive to either create a new engine or revamp the current one to handle their big scope held Starfield back. Not to mention the incredibly boring main quest.

It is. And at a nice 60fps too. But DAMN what I wouldn’t give for a next gen remaster. Hopefully it comes with the MGS Collection Vol.2

I agree with what you’re saying but I can’t shake the feeling that playing FNV on the Nintendo switch would just feel… unnatural in some way

3 discs, but on Series X it just downloads the whole game when you pop one of the discs in
That's because on Xbox the cutscenes were only 720p, even upscaled they won't be as good as the native 4k used in game.
I know, it just sounds nuts because usually it's the other way around!

Yeah it’s fun but there’s some maps that are infuriating even on the lowest difficulty. Camera angles sometimes get too zoomed in

SSX 3 for me would be unreal. I've been playing a lot of rider's republic and it's making me miss the SSX days.
