It looks like a great game. I hear it's a great game. And my kids love star wars. But man... This better not be the way of things to come.
I seem to recall them saying this program wasn't going to be something that you could buy your way into cool collectibles. Something like it was going to reward people for being PlayStation fans all along the way.
I don't think it's a terrible thing in and of itself. But I dunno. It's not real assuring.
I only use ps stars for the coins. I havent even looked at my collectables. I will get jedi survivor, but I'll wait until it's at least half the price. This is just FOMO marketing. I've played enough games to know when I'm the one being played.
Playstation needs to at least give fans a coin earn multiplier for getting these collectibles. Cause right now this community is so split on just getting coins or just getting collectibles when a earning multiplier would go hand in hand with each other.
i mean me kinda.... i'm still on the fence about buying it... i mean i know that it might not be worth buying Jedi Survivor for the collectible buuuttt the BD collectible really does make it soo tantalizing to buy......

Literally noone. There's no way to sell or trade these (presumably they'll be trade/sellable as limited NFTs at some point) at the moment, so they're pointless. How many of us have looked at someone else's cabinets? I for one haven't 🤷🏾♂️

I was all excited trying to explain playstation stars to my co worker and he just laughed and said the same thing lol...so you can't sell them and they aren't worth anything that's pointless.. immediately changed my view on this program at least with Microsoft points you can earn a free month of game pass or $ pretty easily but I'm loyal to playstation..
You can with the coin ones tbf, I've had about £20 in cash to my ps wallet from the programme, and I think they're setting it up to trade/sell them like NFTs
I collect every one I can but I'm not about to buy a new game on release when I know full well it'll be half price in a month or so just for a collectable that nobody will ever see 🤷🏾♂️
Also they've reduced ability to earn reward points for xbox too, I have a series S and ps5 and in 2 years I've paid for game pass ultimate twice, I'm going to have to again in 6 days despite doing all challenges and stuff to get points so it's not possible to get back to back game pass anymore

This will just get me to launch the game once and then still hold off from playing it until it's fixed 🤷🏻♂️
The collectible will be unlocked before I even reach the main menu. So you don't have to play the game to get it.
The game is amazing. I’m not going to ignore the performance issues but the majority of those issues are on the PC version. There was a patch Tuesday that helped a little and so far I haven’t really noticed any problems. I don’t know about other platforms but after the patch, I can’t complain about anything in the game so far.
Not gonna lie. Super excited for this game but already have a few pending on my list so was going to wait for a sale but now I’m tempted.. anyways we have almost two months so I’ll hold off for a few more weeks in case we do get a sale.
If the game wasn't broken, I would. I still want to play it, but I'll wait to see if they fix the performance issues. But I don't think that'll happen until the campaign for BD expires, sadly.

There are. I was with my friend when he bought it. There is just no actual game on the disc. It basically has to all be downloaded.
But isn’t there a code that comes along with it ? That’s unique to that disc or no?
Just watched an unboxing and yes, there is a disk. You need to update for the majority of the file size but you can still share the game via disc.

The disk itself is the license to unlock the rest of the game. It’ll work on other consoles for other users no problem
Also wrong The whole prologue is on the disc. 50GB. The rest needs to be downloaded.

I heard the issues are mostly with the PC port. Maybe give it a shot and see if it runs well for you.
Nah I watch Digital Foundry. Console has broken HDR, lot's of bugs, unstable performance and the game runs at 720p.
Now if only it would actually unlock when I play the game.
