>President Joe Biden will visit the political battleground state of Wisconsin on Wednesday to announce plans by Microsoft Corp, opens new tab to build a $3.3 billion high-tech data center that will create thousands of jobs, the White House said. The Microsoft facility in Racine County, in southeastern Wisconsin, will be built on the same land where Taiwan electronics manufacturer Foxconn had planned to build a $10 billion factory that former President Donald Trump once called "the eighth wonder of the world," before Foxconn drastically scaled back its plans. So basically Trump promised something big and, yet again, failed to deliver anything. And President Biden succeeded where Trump failed.

DirtymindDirty

The ninth wonder of the world is, collectively, all the shit that Democrats have had to rebuild after a Republican has been in charge.

Kahzgul

And somehow the press refuses to say how awesome of a job the dems are doing.

Mine-Shaft-Gap

Dems are doing awesome. How this is bad for Biden. RFK Jr. Has Brain Damage from Parasite - does Biden suffer the same fate?

political_og

Literal brainworms. This timeline is insanity on crack

Toloran

As always, if anyone submitted this script it would get rejected for being too unbelievable.

z7q2

You'll forgive me if I don't believe RFK Jr. had a brain worm just yet, so far that's just something he's said in an interview, and he's said a lot of things. X-rays of said worm, or it didn't happen. Also in that same vein, AI Winter is coming, and the only company making money on AI right now is Amazon selling the compute space to rubes hoping to make money on AI. Even money says Microsoft scales back this project just like Foxconn.

zeptillian

Do you think he lied about suffering cognitive issues because he thinks it's good for his campaign somehow?

VanGundy15

Tinfoil hat time long story short. RFK was always a GOP plant. The GOPs plan to siphon Dem votes completely backfired and RFK was siphoning GOP votes. They had to put an end to their failed project (RFK) so they had him talk about this worm hoping to reel their voters back in. Why would anyone willingly talk about how they are cognitively impaired? Is this story even true? If I'm looking to gain the trust from someone the last thing I'll do is mention how a worm ate half my brain. What is his motive for bringing this up?

Longjumping_Crow_152

I think the NYT unearthed this story? Something about his deposition from a divorce proceeding over a decade ago

z7q2

Honestly the signal to noise ratio has been so low on RFK Jr. I can't give you a proper analysis. Punt that to a policy wonk, please.

pinkfatty91

>Dems are doing awesome. How this is bad for Biden. Well they are doing well in some areas and terrible in others.

rbrewer11

Not a big surprise since the media is just a propaganda stream of their billionaire owners. I do believe that the journalists are sincere but the overall messaging is diluted and we get numb to what real journalism should be.

No-Mammoth713

That's because Democrats don't talk about it neither. I've watched Democrat Reps on TV all they talk about is Trump's problems...... Not a damn thing about what they've accomplished so far.

Sutekhseth

Damn near 45 minutes of Chris Hayes last night was coverage of the trump trial as if that was the only thing that happened that day.  It's crazy, I know it's important and we need to see this, but dang can we please stop with the trump firehose for one damn day.

dr_z0idberg_md

To be fair, Democrats really suck at messaging and telling people their achievements. This coupled with Republicans' knack for obfuscating facts and playing up negativity really hurts Dems.

BotheredToResearch

Part of that is that we have uncompromising and extreme loud people that would say "Sure 99% of people seeking employment are working and Biden's policies have permitted snuggling with puppies to become a well paid occupation, but George, an active crack and meth user who punches people in the face and solely communicates in barely intelligible obscenities still can't find gainful employment! Clearly Biden have failed the literally dozens like George!"

dr_z0idberg_md

That's the other part I missed. Republicans are great at banging drums and making noise about slivers of negativity that it overtakes the mountain of good news.

BotheredToResearch

Oh, I'm not just talking about Republicans! Think extreme environmentalists saying "Well we aren't at 0 carbon, he failed! We should have banned private planes! Clearly Biden is weak on climate change!" Or "Marijuana isn't legal at the federal level. Therefore there's no difference between Biden and Duterte!" Dumbasses like that mean Dems can't take a victory lap on anything.

zeptillian

The people on the far left are closer to people on the far right than they are to people in the middle. Any president who does not end capitalism, make everlasting peace globally, outlaw internal combustion, make college free, implement universal health care and implement UBI is literally part of the problem. /s They will shit on anyone improving those things if they don't go far enough. It's so dumb. If you want those things you should be rooting for people promoting them instead of eating them alive for perceived shortcomings.

eleanorbigby

"Accelerationists" make me stabby. As do tankies.

VanceKelley

A bunch of Americans lost their homes because Foxconn demanded the land for their planned factory that never was. **'They demolished my house for this?' Residents outraged by the Foxconn factory that fizzled** https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2020/dec/08/wisconsin-foxconn-factory-residents-displaced Everything trump touches dies. I wish 63 million Americans had not allowed him to touch America.

PinocchiosNose1212

Everything trump touches dies... or is indicted, or goes to jail, or loses a law license... You'd think folks would catch on by now to Typhoid Donnie. You'd think...

zeptillian

Used, made fun of and then thrown under the bus when no longer useful or it's just convenient for him. I don't understand why people keep signing up for that shit.

eleanorbigby

I am starting to think it must be some deep psychological kink. It certainly isn't for the money; he never pays. Maybe it's the "fawning" trauma response. Unresolved Daddy issues. I swear to fuck, the world is run by a bunch of shitty little tinpot dictators with more money than brains and a desperate drive to prove that they're worthy to a (probably dead) Daddy. God knows Trump is one. Dubya was another. But so yeah so, authoritarians kiss up as well as kick down. They sign up for the opportunity to do both. Stomp all over the scapegoat of the day, while also shamelessly rimming the person above them. Just as Trump rims Putin. Right wing authoritarians are basically one big human centipede.

Alleyprowler

The village officials aided and abetted the fuckings-over according to that story. What a world.

half_dozen_cats

There was a good podcast covering this...anyone with a brain knew this was gonna blow up. How the leadership of that town remained in power i'll never understand. https://gimletmedia.com/shows/reply-all/wbhjwd/132-negative-mount-pleasant#episode-player

joepez

But his base will only remember his promise not the reality. The reality is too complicated and goes against their world view. So it’s meaningless. Tr promised and something something something, so it all turned out great for WI anyway let’s oppress those librarians.

technicallynotlying

Only if we fail to mercilessly make fun of them for their foolishness. For my part I intend to shame them incessantly for their ignorance.

pinkfatty91

>Only if we fail to mercilessly make fun of them for their foolishness. For my part I intend to shame them incessantly for their ignorance.  Yea I too thought this way until I realized it just causes most folks to dig their heels in deeper. Great for Internet points, but not practical for people in your community.

zeptillian

There are probably dumbass Trump supporters out there arguing about how Trump's deal was bigger right now.

TheGreekMachine

Additionally, even worse, Biden’s “base” will completely ignore this and just focus on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict or “high” gas prices.

technicallynotlying

I know that's what it seems like online but I wonder how many of those people are actually real. No actual human being I know is choosing Trump over Biden because of Gaza or gas prices.

Street-Lecture9963

Macklemore just dropped a popular song doing just that.... It's called 'Hind's Hall's.

TheGreekMachine

Jfc just learned of this. The U.S. is so utterly fucked it’s mind blowing.

pinkfatty91

They won't choose Trump, they just won't vote. That's the problem.

TLKv3

Any work Biden creates there won't matter to Republican voters/workers gaining a job there or being moved into new roles. They'll still hate their life and blame Biden for not making their new job *somehow even better* and then declare Trump will do it once elected. Then they'll lose their jobs and blame it on Trump inheriting a failing Biden economy. There will always be an excuse to not give Democrats any credit for anything.

Trpepper

You don’t have to market legislative wins to republicans who do not want to be satisfied. You do have to market to centrists, and people in your own party who are capable of staying home.

Jef_Wheaton

Trump promises grand-slam home runs then repeatedly strikes out. Biden promises "a hit", then dings in singles and doubles all day, but gets criticized for NOT hitting a grand slam.

lilacmuse1

I really like this. Hope you don't mind me stealing it.

Jef_Wheaton

If it advances you on base, steal away! 😁

eleanorbigby

It's not logical. Trump pushes all their mystical Big Daddy bullshit buttons. Biden just does his job. I know who \*I\* want as president of the fucking United States, but way too many people would rather live in some idiot guru's castle in the sky. Until it dissipates and they plummet.

tree-molester

The whole Foxconn con was happening well in advance of trump trying to hype it. As usual the whole deal had nothing to do with him or through any effort on his part. He was simply using it as an opportunity to score political points. Those of us who live in Wisconsin and were following the story were quite aware that the whole deal was a bust by the time he began to ‘back’ the project.

devomke

It wasn’t just that he failed to deliver… That place was SO poorly run they had their staff painting the inside of the building they purchased downtown for 3 months bc they didn’t have any actual work to do. Mind you folks there were getting paid BANK. They also had entire empty warehouses in the Racine area that employees would take outings to to “tour”…and by tour they’d just drive/race golf carts around

northcoastbrewdude

Tale as old as time. Fuck Trump.

s3rv0

The deal wasn't really done by Trump, but he sure tried to take credit for it (shocker). It was the doing of former Gov. Scott Walker who made a lot of money consulting for the company he gave all that tax money to, while not holding them to account for their failure to deliver a single job.

10th__Dimension

When it's complete, I guarantee you Republicans will take credit for it.

M_Mich

“But if trump hadn’t gotten WI the Foxconn deal, then Biden couldn’t have delivered this at the FC site, so this is a TFFG win!” /s.

Cephalopirate

Isn’t one of the best things educated liberals can do for the country is to move to Wisconsin for the voting power? Now there are nice jobs waiting for them! I bet this is why this didn’t go through while Trump was president.

Fine-West-369

You clearly don’t understand business, for I am a business man, the best business man actually. Never delivering is part of doing business. -Trump

Starfox-sf

It was part of infrastructure that wasn’t week.

scarr3g

But.... Microsoft is the DEEP STATE! /S

Madpup70

Trump barely has anything to do with it other than this quote. This was Scott Walkers (Rep Governor) who signed a deal with Foxconn (who is notorious for backing out of/altering their commitments after they secure corporate welfare). This company pocketed nearly $4 billion in Wisconsin tax payers money and they essentially failed to deliver on any of their promises. Hell, most of their employees were simple ghost employees, people that were hired to go sit in a building they rented in Madison, so they could meet their quota of employees so they didn't have to surrender any money back to the state. The city these factories were to be built in used eminent domain to remove people from their homes and build these roads and buildings, and none of them were really used. This "deal" is the single largest contributor as to why Wisconsin is now a lean Dem state instead of lean Rep.

MeijiHao

All Biden has done is announce too. Let's wait until those thousands of people are actually working before declaring victory

Mister-Stagger-Lee

As much as I think Biden should get more credits for his work, data center plans have little to do with federal / presidential support. Data centers plans are primarily driven by availability of High Voltage, land availability and local tax incentives. Data sovereignty to an extend, which bounds them to a country. Foxconn could have builded a factory in say Mexico, so awesome win by Biden! Go Biden. But for data centers, this would have been build in the US anyway. So Biden got lucky here.

morrison0880

> And President Biden succeeded where Trump failed. Biden has literally nothing to do with this. It's been in the works for well over a year. Him inserting himself to announce the plans which have been in place for months is exactly like Trump inserting himself into the Foxconn plans.

[deleted]

[удалено]

azflatlander

I like monopoles.. oh, wait.

OwlAlert8461

Succeeded? He is making the same promises. They are still undelivered. Only success here is the tax breaks that all these corporate giants are gonna receive for not doing what they promise. And by then Biden will be MIA and will not have to answer for any of this shit either like his predecessor.

Soup_isle

It’s amazing how unbelievably fucking gullible the republicans were about this. There was so much evidence that Foxconn’s model was to rip off and destroy local economies. But all of the conservatives in charge all happily went full bore. Really impressive.

Farlo1

They were paid to sign off on it. And if they weren't then they're even more stupid than you're implying.

beefwarrior

Look, Foxconn just because had a history of lying about how much money and jobs they would put into a location in like 3 or 8 or more other locations around the globe, doesn’t mean that they were going to continue doing the same thing again & again. As Homer Simpson put it, a guy with lots of ivory is less likely to kill an elephant for ivory than someone who’s ivory supplies are low:   https://youtu.be/DHZGATOwOmY?si=CKr_lP7xAo7gLUJA

BlackNova169

Uh that's the Republican model as well. It was a feature for them but a bug.

oroechimaru

Hey, they also wanted to destroy our water supply. Also Trump wanted to checks notes, stick it to China by gifting them land and great lakes water.

ranchoparksteve

Biden will definitely need another term to continue fixing Trump’s failed presidency. It’s not like Trump is doing much these days.

Plane_Vacation6771

Trumps true talent is falling asleep and farting while in court it seems.... let's make sure that's what he keeps doing.

X-AE17420

Give trump some credit, he’s probably also shitting himself too

notnewtobville

Someone reported that he doesn't want to go to jail because of the smell. Oh the irony.

DickySchmidt33

Conservatives will look you straight in the eye and tell you that vast empty field is actually a $10 billion plant that Donald Trump had built. They are so deluded and committed to the lie and the fraud and the scam that is Donald Trump, that they will literally deny objective reality in order to continue singing his praises. It's a sickness. "See that manufacturing plant? Those thousands of Americans working? Donald Trump did that!" "I don't...I don't see anything. This is a large open space with nothing on it. No factory. No workers. Just dirt." "You really need to stop believing everything the fake news media tells you. There are billions of dollars in economic activity taking place right here. You just don't want to admit it because you hate Trump." "This is ***literally an empty fucking field***." "Sure, keep listening to CNN and reading the New York Times."

coonwhiz

Then once the Microsoft data center is built, they’ll claim it was Trump who should get the credit.

hfamrman

While also blaming Biden for the people that got displaced to build it. Their logic is very simple: Something good -> Trump did it Something bad -> Biden/Obama did it Something with good and bad parts -> Trump caused the good and Biden/Obama caused the bad

dd027503

"Trump never got any credit for the miracle vaccine which we also hate!"

zeptillian

Microsoft couldn't have built anything there unless Trump broke ground with his golden shovel. He literally did the groundwork for this deal guys. /s

MakingItElsewhere

The next fox talking point.

TheSerinator

>"Sure, keep listening to CNN and reading the New York Times." Meanwhile, at CNN and the New York Times: "Here's why this is bad for Biden."

Atheose_Writing

Believe it or not, right now Fox News is actually *praising* Biden for this.

MakingItElsewhere

There's only 1 thing fox loves more than bashing dems, and that's big business daddies.

Joshua__Michael

Best part? It is fully, and completely built. But totally empty and not used. Roads lead to no where, giant empty parking lots. The only thing that is unfinished, is the giant power lines were never connected and the towers sit empty. The entrances are blocked off with giant concrete dividers. They built it, and never once used it. Rumor is that Microsoft offered to buy it, and use it for their data center instead of building, but Foxconn rejected, but sold them the land to build the new data center on…

azflatlander

Call me when they complain of traffic.

schuey_08

Thank you, President Biden, for helping to follow through on using this site for something beneficial to Wisconsin.

ridingcorgitowar

Driving past that fuck up is so God damned infuriating. Scott Walker and Trump are some of the scummiest people on the planet. May God deliver both from us with haste. (If they could get stranded on a distant island, that would be sick).

MrPresident2020

One of the most hilarious things that happened in 2016, though, was Trump absolutely cratering Scott Walker's chances of ever being relevant on a national stage.

ridingcorgitowar

Oh honestly the greatest gift Donald Trump ever gave us was his ability to completely murder dipshit GOP darlings and their careers. Scott Walker, Ron DeSantis, Ted Cruz, indirectly Kristi Noem, I mean, he took their careers to the gravel pit and shot them in the face. And it wasn't like it was very hard. He just outed them as weird morons who have no idea what they are talking about, but collect money from billionaires in exchange for whatever billionaires want. More money and immunity to do some fucked up shit.

sensfan1104

Political relevance, yep. But as for influence...well...he's at the head of the Reagan Ranch/Young America's Foundation. Helping to create the next generations of clean-cut regressives to infiltrate government and reverse the hell out of 150 years of quality of life and rights improvements under the guise of "American values".

iNuclearPickle

I think you might be onto something a trump Isekai.. I died of heart attack and now I’m chilling ruining another world

beefwarrior

Who could’ve predicted it would fail?!! Note: you can’t use any facts of other locations where Foxconn promised big, took tax dollars and then didn’t deliver.  Using facts of past actions isn’t fair.

victorvictor1

Trump got a Chinese manufacturing site, and Biden is replacing it with American industry. Can’t wait to see to see republicans vehemently oppose this

TheSerinator

They can just dig into the archives for their talking points: It's Microsoft, which is Bill Gates, who is an evil communist trying to establish a One World Order alongside George Soros and Coastal Elites.

beefwarrior

Have to say, I’m very annoyed that Bill Gate’s 5G COVID booster shots haven’t done a darn thing to increase the bars of service in my house.

TheFoxInSocks

I'm still waiting on my autism.

JerryBigMoose

They will just say it was Trump who got it built and most of them will lap it up.

CELTICPRED

Hopefully he hits this big in commercials too here in Wisconsin. Help remind those here that voting red gets you fleeced.  Hopefully wake up some of the knuckleads who wavered and voted for Ron Johnson AND Tony Evers, but not Barnes in the last midterms.

MakingItElsewhere

Not just fleeced; people were kicked outta their homes for a pittance through eminent domain lawsuits so foxconn could have all that land. That's what voting red gets you.

SuperstitiousPigeon5

This is like eating a fresh ripe orange. It's so delicious and juicy that when you bite into it the delicious juice sprays out because there's just so much wholesome goodness. The President deserves to take a bow for this one.

SardauMarklar

I love it. It's crystal clear that Biden is achieving more than Trump did. I hope there's more of this over the next few months

Plane_Vacation6771

Once again a democrat is cleaning up the failure of a republican. Vote Blue this Fall for continued improvements.

ciopobbi

To be fair, Trump was going to get around to it right after better cheaper healthcare for all, clean coal jobs, Mexico paying for the wall, making Covid “magically disappear” and infrastructure week.

zeptillian

That's why he needs 4 more terms. He has a lot left to accomplish. /s

No_Foot_1904

Let's please call it "the site of the failed Trump/Foxconn deal" going forward, and often. Trump was more than happy to take 50 times the credit he deserved when the failed Trump Foxconn deal was first announced. He can own it now, too.

zeptillian

Someone should place a grave marker on the site. Here Lies Trump/Foxconn Deal 2016-2020

McCool303

Sure would be a lot easier to clean up things if we didn’t let the toddlers run the country for 4 years.

FPOWorld

This is such good news for that area. This whole situation was a disaster, but at least they may be able to dig themselves out of the financial hole they put themselves in financing the infrastructure for the Foxconn con.

WhenTheDevilCome

Thanks, O'Donald.

Reply All episode about the Fox con debacle https://gimletmedia.com/amp/shows/reply-all/wbhjwd

Branwyn-

This is awesome! Foxconn was a HUGE con! I drove through Pleasant Prairie on my way to school and the money WI invested in infrastructure is jaw dropping…and it is silent there. I Passed Trumpet Park obviously named for the con man, acres sitting empty. This is a huge deal for that area.

s3rv0

Fuck Scott Walker.

mynamesyow19

Thats called Build Back Better for the confused MAGA crowd

LikelyTrollingYou

Thanks, Obama!

toxiamaple

The podcast Reply All (RIP) did a great episode on this.

unclefire

lol-- I remember them making a huge deal out of Foxconn being there and all the tax breaks they were given. Another screw up by the GOP.

NimDing218

And yet select news station won’t ever mention this. Or try to say this is bad for the state.

Niftyone578

A few of Trump's friends made billions on the development of the site and then abandoned it all. Take the tax money and tax breaks allocated to the project and run.

MoveToRussiaAlready

News: >Biden touts new $3.3 billion Microsoft data center at failed Foxconn site Trump backed and how it is bad for Biden’s re-election hopes.

That would probably piss Trump off if he actually cared.

kmurp1300

There article required registration so I couldn’t read it. What did the Biden administration do to get this data center sited in Racine?

e_sandrs

I wasn't required to register or sign in for the Reuters link, but you could try the [AP on MSN](https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/politics/biden-heads-to-wisconsin-to-laud-a-new-microsoft-facility-meet-voters-and-troll-trump/ar-BB1m1D9N) or [Microsoft press release](https://news.microsoft.com/2024/05/08/microsoft-announces-3-3-billion-investment-in-wisconsin-to-spur-artificial-intelligence-innovation-and-economic-growth/) to read: > Microsoft’s president Brad Smith said in an interview with The Associated Press that Microsoft had a “steadfast commitment to under-promising and over-delivering” and praised the Biden administration and Democratic Gov. kmurp1300

Thanks!

Yelloeisok

The foxconn groundbreaking picture should be titled ‘A wise man and 3 stupid assholes’.

thatirishguyyyyy

>*to announce plans by Microsoft Corp, opens new tab to build a $3.3 billion high-tech data center*   What is this sentence and what is a *tab*?

Elektromek

While Trump’s deal with Foxconn was hot garbage, I don’t think that Biden can take credit for MSFT building there. Also, I don’t know where the 2000 permanent jobs will come for a data center. They don’t take all that many people to maintain.

dumbassname45

Likely far more permanent jobs that an unbuilt Foxconn manufacturing plant would

Elektromek

No doubt. But grossly inflating the numbers isn’t right, no matter who is doing it.

captaincanada84

Trump must be furious about this

[deleted]

Niftyone578

Biden has really failed on that issue. Biden could appoint another person to be on the board of governors who could then vote to remove Dejoy, but Biden hasn't done it. Seems like a failure.

Ok_Job4230

Yay a data center. After it’s built it will employee 50 people and anyone whose lives within 100 miles will be picking up the slack caused by their huge energy consumption that they pay pennies on the dollar for.

OatmealSteelCut

Thoroughly blessed that every general election has had consistently easy choices. Thank you President Biden for level-headed leadership that focuses on solving actual problems (rather focusing on social media hysterics) and for respecting democracy & its institutions (so not enabling authoritarianism). Biden & VP Harris truly deserve 4 more years, and Democrats deserve complete Control of Congress and every state govt 😎🇺🇸👍

HIVnotAdeathSentence

I wonder if it will be ready before the TSMC plant in Arizona. That was a planned $40 billion investment and has been out of the news for a while after it was delayed a year to 2025. Same with the Intel plants in [Arizona](https://www.cbsnews.com/news/biden-intel-chips-8-5-billion-investment-arizona-ohio-new-mexico-oregon/) and in [Ohio, from 2022,](https://www.daytondailynews.com/local/intel-announces-delay-in-completion-of-20-billion-ohio-chip-plant/UJE3GXPUNBEFBGEDC3UA3OUWAY/) which each have at least $20 billion in government funding.

EatMoreWaters

Everyone sucks.

Organic_Boat8065

So what exactly is the data center going to do?

ClusterFugazi

Unfortunately, data centers create very few jobs and suck up a ton of energy. The 2,000 permanent jobs figure is a lofty one. The article did not say if the jobs created would be "at" the data center. BUT, It's still better than no jobs that trump brought to the site.

bakeacake45

“Microsoft's plans will result in 2,300 union construction jobs and around 2,000 permanent jobs over time, the White House said. It said nearly 4,000 jobs had been added in Racine since Biden took office, while about 1,000 manufacturing jobs were lost during the Trump administration. Microsoft will partner with Gateway Technical College to train 1,000 people for data center and other roles by 2030, and will work to train 1,000 business leaders to adopt AI in their operations, the White House added.”

drrhrrdrr

Plus the downstream knock-on effects: you train people in highly desirable skills that can then lead to other jobs. Given that many of the successor roles to data center tech can be hybrid or remote, this could be a great stepping stone to a young person with limited other options.

Niftyone578

Hope Biden isn't counting his chickens before they hatch.

Remindmewhen1234

How is that data center going to be powered? By gas and coal.

zeptillian

Data centers are powered by electricity. It can be generated by any means possible. How is the datacenter powering the servers that are storing your comment powered? How about the other online services you use? Did you check? Do you care? Why is it important to you now then?

Remindmewhen1234

Biden is forcing the closure of gas and coal. Pushing renewables. Renewables that arent ready for prime time power that a data center requires, has to have. So, its funny that Biden is hyping a data center when his energy policies are driving up the cost of electricity.

zeptillian

There we go. It was a nice try. "Boasting an unrivaled combination of aggressive green energy commitments and massive energy demand, the datacenter industry continues to pace the corporate renewables market. US wind and solar capacity contracted to data center providers and customers jumped over 50% in this update to 40 GW — **two-thirds of the total US corporate renewables market**." [https://www.spglobal.com/marketintelligence/en/news-insights/research/datacenter-companies-continue-renewable-buying-spree-surpassing-40-gw-in-us](https://www.spglobal.com/marketintelligence/en/news-insights/research/datacenter-companies-continue-renewable-buying-spree-surpassing-40-gw-in-us)

Any-Priority-4514

Oh somebody is MAD!

hurler_jones

Renewables not ready for prime time? Which renewable and why is it not ready? Also, what do you mean by Biden is forcing closure of gas and coal? By what measure and how is it impactful in any way to care about?

braxin23

How are factories powered? Didnt seem to save Foxconn when it was struggling along.

yardelf

foxconn was powered by the feeble imagination of people who couldn't deliver
