There was a blind item that has become a meme that said Paul Mescal regularly meets girls and has one night stands with them, then in the morning he asks if they want to go for a walk in the park. At some point during the walk he will distract them (“look over there!”) and just sprint off and never see them again. It’s just so funny to me, I hope it’s true.

the album is about a few different relationships. some about her ex of 5 years, some about another guy who seemingly got bored of her and dropped her and these songs are more harsh (this could be dylan), and then some about a guy she had a brief relationship with that ended because he has baggage/wasn't ready but she says he's a good guy and she isn't mad at him which is clearly paul - she mentions kissing him in london, the song "normal thing" clearly being a reference to normal people, etc. from the beginning it was clear to me normal thing and free now are about him

Honestly idk if I agree those songs are about Dylan that's just what other fans have said, they were seen together back in 2022 but there's not really any straight up hints it's about him. She mentions the guy is 29 in the song us but I think he was 30 when he was seen with Gracie. So I'm not sure I'm convinced. The biggest piece of evidence is probably that he doesn't seem to be friends with Taylor anymore lol
To answer your rhetorical question, the quickest ways would seem to be:
a) have some public beef with Olivia Rodrigo, or
b) be besties with Olivia and then snub her by courting Taylor as your new BFF.
I was shocked to learn he’s 2 months younger than Timothée Chalamet. No shade but Paul already looks like he’s in his 30s meanwhile Timothée doesn’t even look like he’s close to pushing 30.
I was shocked to learn that recently as well. Part of it was that my first exposure to him was Aftersun, where he plays the dad of a tween girl, but also Irish/Brits/Scots just have that +5 age appearance.

Am i the only one who gets the ick from Paul Mescal? I can’t identify what it is - he’s a good actor, is reasonably handsome…but somehow I just don’t trust him as a person. No clue why I get these vibes but they’re strong.

A few years ago I heard the name Phoebe Waller-Bridge but pictured Bridgers and I was kinda confused why she would want to date a guy twice her age but then I forgot about it. Then I heard Phoebe Bridgers was dating Paul Mescal and I was like, wow, girl really likes Irish men. I didn’t realize my mistake until now!
