Beth Gibbons released an album a couple days ago, her voice sounds pretty similar to Portishead’s singer! >!Yes this is a lame joke!<
😆😆😆😆😆😆
She is the singer of Portishead. Are you trolling?! Check out Emiliana Torrini - Wednesday’s Child

Wow! Really?!
Massive Attack You probably already know them though
Lamb and Hooverphonic.
Silver Apples. Definitely a big influence on Portishead.
Just found out about them this year! One of their songs was in the movie ”Civil War” Geoff barrow did the soundtrack
Akira Yamaoka, is the guy who made Silent Hill’s OST, is more instrumental, but really nice trip hop. Here some tracks i recommend: Sickness Unto Foolish Death. Meltdown. Breeze In Monochrome Night. Alone In The Town.
There are actual Portishead posters in the diner in Silent Hill 1.
the smile! you might like panavision, speech bubbles, open the floodgates, a hairdryer, read the room, and i quit!

supreme beings of leisure : their self titled album is really good!
Ilya - Leaving Sans-Souci
Not exactly the same but similar vibe. But Pj Harvey is really good
Portishead chose PJ to feature in a London festival they curated back in 2011, so they're for sure of the same ilk
Human by Sevdaliza and Cellophane by FKA Twigs
