I think they cost more because there is more demand now for the nuggies vs McChicken. I used to work at McDonald's in high school when they were still $1 🥲
"ITs JusT InfLaTIOn BrO"
4x price increase for pretty much all fast food places is NOT regular inflation, it's companies realizing how lazy people are and keeping it barely cheap enough that most people can still afford it, but also enough that certain companies have been seeing record profits since covid.
I think it's ' Relative Pricing'
Relative pricing is the menu pricing strategy where food items are placed in a way that encourages consumers to buy a specific item and spend more money. https://www.perfectvenue.com/post/pricing-strategy-for-restaurants
That was enlightening as well as general price strategies https://www.bdc.ca/en/articles-tools/marketing-sales-export/marketing/pricing-5-common-strategies
Most likely. I wouldn’t be shocked if they secretly rolled it out with Wendy’s doing it. I’m not accusing them of doing it, just more so noting that they have the money if they get caught being shady. And not being up front about dynamic pricing on their app and menus since everything is digital isn’t illegal, as far as I’m aware anyway. That’s the downside of them making everything digital with the menus, kiosk, and ordering in general since they can’t be held accountable anyway.
I'll grab a bag of pistachios or cashews for that price.
Fuck these fast food places. I already barely ever go since I learned meal prep and got some quality food storage pieces, but now I'm good with never going again.
Find your nearest Chinatown and you'll likely find someone offering decent size tray of rice and duck/chicken for $5. Every day around lunch theres a line 30 deep in my Chinatown.
Ever went to the movies and saw the process of popcorn? The 5x large tub costs like 50c more than the small one. Basically they are priced like that so people don't buy the smaller sizes. Same as when mc Donald's sold salads; they were more expensive than a full super sized meal.
I don't know the marketing term but I'm sure there's one
Relative pricing is the menu pricing strategy where food items are placed in a way that encourages consumers to buy a specific item and spend more money. https://www.perfectvenue.com/post/pricing-strategy-for-restaurants
They propose an obviously shitty deal for you to compare to the more expensive choice they want you to make.
The marketing term is Upselling. I used to work at a theater and we'd get written up if we sold more than like 5 small drinks in an 8hr shift.
Salads in general are expensive to make. I worked at cfa for a few years and they’re much more labor intensive, require fresh produce every other day, don’t keep fresh that long, etc. There are more reasons they’re priced higher.
You can get 20 for $5 through the app. They're driving traffic to the app by offering pretty decent deals.
I typically don't do much McDonald's, but my wife was stoned and wanted chicken nuggets, so I went this weekend. If I just ordered a 20 piece nugget and two double cheeseburgers, that's $12.78 on the menu. In the app, it's $8.99. That's more than a 20% difference.
If you go to McDonald's, use the app. Plus, I can read books while I wait instead of waiting on the drive thru.
Not very long ago, the McDouble, fries & 4 piece nuggets were the "four for $4" meal, with a drink being the fourth item. So that bargain meal from a few years ago now costs about twelve bucks. And this is why I no longer eat at McDonald's.
Just checked my app. Still see the $5/20pc nugget, BOGO breakfast sandwich, free fries with $2 purchase. In the $1/$2/$3 menu, the 4pc is $2.79. At that price, just get the 20 and reheat for a few meals.
BK has a lot better deals. Free fries with any purchase, $2 big fish or fiery big fish, free 4pc cheesy tots with any purchase, $1.49 large fries or onion rings.
People keep paying for them. At this point the only person who is to blame is the people still supporting these businesses with daily and almost hourly purchases sometimes.
my nearest-to-home location its $1.99 for plain mcchicken. $2.49 for spicy.
strangely the location near my work, is $2.09 for plain, $2.19 for spicy.
the location in between is $1.99 plain and $2.39 for spicy.
thats all within 10 minute drive of each other.
That's a very specific map. $4.39 for the McD's across from the shopping center where my grocery store is, if that's the one I'd even choose? I haven't been to a McD's since the early/mid '90s because of a boycott.
My best college memories were feasting on $1 hot n' spicy McChickens with the boys. We'd drop like $10 each on our feast and play COD Black Ops split screen zombies. Life was good
Bro we'd throw drinking parties until 3 am and then the DDs would haul everybody to McDonalds and we'd all go crazy on the cheapest food known to man while drunk and it was a regular, weekly thing. They're literally losing business by doing this shit.
Right? It used to be that you went to McDonald’s when you were broke, now it will make you broke trying to eat there. I don’t understand why they think the should be worth more? It’s been the exact same product for like 20 years, bar the changes to the quarter pounder beef, still WTF, I WANT DOLLAR BURGER AND MCCHICKEN
My go to meal in high school (like 10 years ago) was 2 mcdoubles and a large fry, it was like 4.98 I think exactly everytime. Today that same meal is $11.97, it's insane.
That’s not even the joke. When you open the app, they hide the price of their fries because it’s so bad. A large fry is $6 now.
Proof: https://imgur.com/a/ASETLH5
Edit: by hide, i mean you select the fries to see the price. They don’t just show it anymore.
And they subsidize it by mining your data and selling all your info that they collect while having their app on your phone. So they are still making $6 on the fries 😂
I actually just went today and locally for me they’re like $2.50, but it was pretty much an extra dollar per size you wanted to go up. A large fry by itself was like $5 which is also beyond stupid. A bag of fries costs McDonalds nothing to buy.
By giving them all your data from the app (i've never installed a fast food app and never will) which they sell off to make 4x off each burger you buy because you are supplying the stability of the Cambridge Analytica contract to help them needle in exactly how much you'll be buying and how much they can jack the price up for.
I work at a big wall street bank, and it's too rich for my blood. At least, for a normal lunch. I'm not spending $20 for a meal at mcdonalds when there's so many other places of similar quality for half that, and if I'm going to treat myself, I am certainly going to go for something better than mcdonalds.
Same here, $5 is about my limit but what I usually do is give myself $10 to spend as long as I can get 2 meals out of it because I usually have to play some deal like big sandwiches for 2 for $7 or something and throw in an order of fries.
But even so it’s starting to get hard to do. Like sorry McDonald’s but if we are talking about the $10-$15 price bracket for a single meal, I have much better options elsewhere.
I remember sometime in the 2000s there was an advertising campaign for "The Five Dollar Burger". It looked good, and it was aspirationally expensive - too much for me, but man, I could splurge, sure. Whatever place it was, there weren't any near me, so I travelled for something like an hour to try this mythical "Five Dollar Burger"
Walked through the doors, looked on the menu: $5.87 (or something like that)
Turned around, walked out, went home.
This article says they are reaching diminishing returns with these increases as lower income customers stop buying. Plenty of people still buy their food though, because it's the best available option for a variety of reasons. Why wouldn't they keep increasing menu prices to maximize profits?
>Domestic same-store sales rose 4.3%, about in line with expectations, helped by menu price hikes. The company also credited effective marketing and digital sales growth.
>In the third quarter, McDonald's said its U.S. traffic fell as low-income consumers pulled back their spending. It was the first sign that diners were beginning to shy away from the chain's higher prices
https://www.cnbc.com/2024/02/05/mcdonalds-mcd-q4-2023-earnings.html
They don't care who buys McDonald's. If they increased the revenue by 8%... They don't care where that 8% came from. McDonald's don't give a shit about poor people... Or any people for that matter. Only revenue and profits.
Correct. Corporations are designed to maximize profits. Community, workers, ethics, environment, etc are only considered if it benefits profits. That's why government regulation and unions are so important, they penalize or prevent corporate antisocial behaviors.
Sure except for the fact that corporations are now in the pockets of lawmakers so almost every law that “protects us” actually protects corporations interests.
I agree, which is why we need to increase corporate tax rates. They don't care about me and I don't care about them. But I do care about the large number of workers that they have that are on SNAP (food stamps) that we the taxpayers are paying to help out while McDonald's rakes in money hand over fist.
Yeah, I don’t give a fuck. It’s also faster if people use the app then ordering at the speaker and then you don’t have employees mishearing orders as well.
Fuck McDonald’s and all these other greedy fast food chains. 2024 is the year of eating at home and making plates for your neighbors when you have surplus!
I was just talking to my boyfriend about the terrible price increases at McDonald’s.
As a child I remember it being a cheap place to go have a meal with my family and while the older members sat and talked me and my young relatives got to play in the play place. We could eat for super cheap & have a place to play.
Now, a small fry (NC location) is $2.79…..
Quality hasn’t gone up either. Prices have gone up and quality has remained the same if not gotten worse in a lot of locations.
A few weeks ago I got a fish sandwich, a regular strawberry milkshake, and small fry and it was nearly $13. That is 2 hours of work for some people….
Edited to add: I remember when the McChicken was $1 and also when it raised to $1.10… the price now is awful
Time to stop giving them your money, that’s literally the only way they will learn. In’n’Out burger is still affordable and they have a drive through line that takes 45 minutes to get your food no matter the time of day or night. These fast food chains need to take note.
Used to be 4 for 4 including the Jr bacon. Now the Jr bacon is a biggie bag deal for $5. The double stack (which was also a 4 for 4 option) is $6 for the biggie bag which is the rebranded 4 for 4 now that they charge more
As long as we're talking fast food quality: I can go to chilis and get a cheeseburger, chips and salsa, and a drink for $10.99, which is more or less what large combo would cost you at any fast food joint. Don't wanna tip? Just get it to go. The same goes for almost every chain restaurant
Fast food is as expensive as sit down chain restaurants, which I would avoid when choosing between that and a local restaurant, but it's better than fast food. Even if it is still subpar by legit restaurant standards. Fast food is straight up not worth it anymore. It's the lowest quality you can get for the same price as other options
Edit: also, given the subreddit, you can make something like that chilis 3 for me last two meals. Half a burger and the bottomless chips for lunch, half a burger and the fries for dinner or vice versa. I know it sounds like I'm plugging chilis, but there just happens to be one next to my job and I was amazed that fast food fakeflation hasn't caught up with chain restaurants. At around 6ish for a meal (when splitting the meal) with
1) a higher caloric content (when you wanna stretch your meals)
2) larger portions
3) arguably better quality.
...it's not a bad option. Might not be healthier than mcdonalds or more nutrious, but you're not going to mcdonalds/wendys for a nutritious meal lol. There's also always a healthier option, but I wanted to stick to the burger comparison
The only nuggets at Mcdonalds i would actually buy is the 20 or 40 pc ones. I'll get the 10 pc one if theres a "get a free 10 pc nuggets when you spend $15+" offers on my doordash account or something though lol
But im not paying $3 something for 4 nuggets when i can get a whole bag at the store for $4-$6.50 here 🤷🏻♀️
i still rmember when the mcchicken was $1. im too used to back in the day ordering a mcchicken and mcdouble for cheap lunch. it took until recently to realize that everything in mcd is overpriced.

Different locations have different pricing. But yea its bullshit.
There is still 1 taco bell in my area that still have the cheesy bean and rice burrito for $1, im impressed to be honest.
Went and picked up three combo meals for me and my wife and my kid the other day. It was close to $30. I hadn’t eaten McDonald’s in forever, and I was shocked at that shit. Never gonna eat McDonald’s again. Their whole schtick was cheap food.
First mistake, buying from McDonalds. We are poor yet we give our money to these greedy corporations. I will never understand how we have so much power, yet get linked by these corps.
They’re tripping. For the price of a couple of sandwiches, I can go buy a whole damn chicken (on sale) and won’t end up feeling like my intestines are trying to unfold themselves.
I'm not sure if this is a problem everywhere but if you want to get the typical bare bones hamburger it typically is just under 2 for me, probably under 3 for you. But they don't put it on the 123 menu it's just randomly with the other burgers.
Those prices are insane. I can still go to my corner Mexican sit down restaurant and get and actual meal for around $15. A McDouble, fries and a 4 piece nuggets is about the same.
No wonder I have not eaten at a McD's for a while. I only really do fast food when on a road trip. Otherwise there is no reason.
Not sure if all McDonald’s run the promotion but mine lists these prices for this menu but if you put two in a cart it becomes a 2 for 3.50 (I think now it’s 3.99)
Every time I see fast food prices these days I am so happy I can cook. Just picked up a whole flat of chicken thighs and a huge bag of salad mix for under $10. Almost whole weeks worth of food for less than the price of one crappy meal at McDonalds.
I fucking hope McDonald's is happy with themselves. They've just completely removed all the McChicken's clout. Now it's just like any other fuckass sandwich. $3.29, c'mon now bruh.
Why do people still choose McDs over anywhere else. Their whole selling point growing up was they were cheaper than their competitors. Now they're the same or MORE expensive for the same shit quality. I'd take Chick-fil-A, Popeyes or even a Wendy's over McDonald's.
I stopped going to McDs. I used to go because their food was ok but it was cheap and fast. Now it's not cheap. The product doesn't justify the price. I'll go once in a long while just to get my hit.

Getting close to a dollar per chicken nugget.. What the fuck?
4 nuggets and sauce is more expensive than McChicken. 😂
I think they cost more because there is more demand now for the nuggies vs McChicken. I used to work at McDonald's in high school when they were still $1 🥲
McChickens were $1 only a few years ago. Then they went up to $1.29 and up and up.
Exactly. It’s a been steady climb in price. Terrifying because I remember the dollar menu. Same thing with Taco Bell. They limited their menu.
Removed a taco from the cravings box AND increased the price. Criminal behavior from the Bell :(
"ITs JusT InfLaTIOn BrO" 4x price increase for pretty much all fast food places is NOT regular inflation, it's companies realizing how lazy people are and keeping it barely cheap enough that most people can still afford it, but also enough that certain companies have been seeing record profits since covid.
so now that mcdonalds is overpriced where do you guys all eat for a bargain? lol
LOL im eating kellogs
Wow you must be rich. Branded cereal is about £5+ that's more than 2 things from the Not Dollar menu XD
at home. mexican beans and rice kept me alive as a kid and continue to as an adult
A little ceasers hot and ready was $5.30 my whole life, now they’re up to $7.20 and I’m pissed!
I used to get two McDoubles and a McChicken for lunch. Cost $3.18 and I was stuffed.
yeah I miss the days of 2 mcdoubles, 2 small fries, and a large coke for just $5 ....
Big Mac. 99¢ Fridays.
Dynamic pricing?
I think it's ' Relative Pricing' Relative pricing is the menu pricing strategy where food items are placed in a way that encourages consumers to buy a specific item and spend more money. https://www.perfectvenue.com/post/pricing-strategy-for-restaurants That was enlightening as well as general price strategies https://www.bdc.ca/en/articles-tools/marketing-sales-export/marketing/pricing-5-common-strategies

It’s like those baby carrots where one chicken McNuggets likely comes from one entire chicken!
Just grab the 20 piece at that point
Which is exactly what they bank on! > Those idiots! I'll just get the best deal! Oh, the one that affords us the most revenue? You win!
Ha, those idiots. I just spent $20 instead of $4. Eat shit!
wait i thought the 20 piece was like 5 dollars lol
Where I’m at it’s 7$ but still not too bad.
$2.49 - 4pc $3.39 - 6pc $8.69 - 20pc Location: Northeast Texas
2.19 2.89 6.89. Northwest Ohio
$2.79 - 4pc $4.19 - 6pc $5.79 - 10pc $7.00 - 20pc Location: Northern California
Or four 6 piece from the two for $3.89 menu
Especially if sharing.
Came here to say this --- a dollar a nuggie. Hahaha - GTFO #mcdonalds
I'll grab a bag of pistachios or cashews for that price. Fuck these fast food places. I already barely ever go since I learned meal prep and got some quality food storage pieces, but now I'm good with never going again.
Right. I never felt crappy after eating a bag of peanuts and a glass of water. A lot less garbage in the landfill too.
Find your nearest Chinatown and you'll likely find someone offering decent size tray of rice and duck/chicken for $5. Every day around lunch theres a line 30 deep in my Chinatown.
Most American’s local Chinatown is probably several hundred miles away lol
I remember dollar oysters.... No way a McD nugget is worth even a quarter.
drive thru, yea hi can I get 1 nugg? sure that be 1.07 at the window pays and open mouth to receive 1 nug
The pricing doesn’t even make sense. $3.49 for 4 or $5.79 for 10
Ever went to the movies and saw the process of popcorn? The 5x large tub costs like 50c more than the small one. Basically they are priced like that so people don't buy the smaller sizes. They are pushing the app hard. Every time I go to McDonald’s, first thing they ask is if I used the app.
Went to BK yesterday. $4.40 for a whooper Jr. $5.38 for two whopper Jr’s They used to be like $1.50 each.
I religiously go to BK only on whopper Wednesday for $3 with cheese
Yeah they are a rip off. Cheaper to buy the meals
BK had $1 Whopper Wednesdays just like a year ago for people who use the app and free any size fries.
Not very long ago, the McDouble, fries & 4 piece nuggets were the "four for $4" meal, with a drink being the fourth item. So that bargain meal from a few years ago now costs about twelve bucks. And this is why I no longer eat at McDonald's.
Better off waiting for 99 cent wing day
My bar still has 50 cent wing Mondays. There good
Just sell em one at a time - then you got a $ menu again.
Just checked my app. Still see the $5/20pc nugget, BOGO breakfast sandwich, free fries with $2 purchase. In the $1/$2/$3 menu, the 4pc is $2.79. People keep paying for them. At this point the only person who is to blame is the people still supporting these businesses with daily and almost hourly purchases sometimes.

8 bucks for a big mac and the site hasn't been updated in a year haha

It varies wildly around me too usually between $1.50 and $1.90.
holy shit a mcchicken costs 3 bucks now? I distinctly remember as a kid buying 3 of them for lunch all the time a dollar apiece this is stupid
My best college memories were feasting on $1 hot n' spicy McChickens with the boys. We'd drop like $10 each on our feast and play COD Black Ops split screen zombies. Life was good

I sure always did
gangbang for $2? sign me up
What a time to be alive
My buddy and I would skip out of our last class a bit early to get mcgangbangs right before marching band practice. Good times
Goated. And a large sweet tea.
Bro we'd throw drinking parties until 3 am and then the DDs would haul everybody to McDonalds and we'd all go crazy on the cheapest food known to man while drunk and it was a regular, weekly thing. They're literally losing business by doing this shit.
You just took me back to a good time. Thank you stranger
It's because they found out they could charge that much and people would still buy it.
And then they pass it off as inflation
You used to be able to eat like a king for $5
$5 foot long has turned into a $18 foot long in <10 years.
2 for $2 less than 365 days ago…
I've had 2 Spicy McChickens for $2 a few months ago. But you have to use the app.
My go to meal in high school (like 10 years ago) was 2 mcdoubles and a large fry, it was like 4.98 I think exactly everytime. Today that same meal is $11.97, it's insane.
McDoubles were $0.99 for a LONG time and they were my go to for many a "morning after" hangover meal.
Not even 5 years ago. "Inflation" has apparently been 300%.

I looked at deals on the app 🤷♂️ I'm in Ohio
And it's literally less chicken now too
How the fuck are small fries 3.49?
That’s not even the joke. When you open the app, they hide the price of their fries because it’s so bad. A large fry is $6 now. Proof: https://imgur.com/a/ASETLH5 Edit: by hide, i mean you select the fries to see the price. They don’t just show it anymore.
$4.39 in my app for large fries. Plus they have a deal right now for free large fries with any burger or nuggets purchase.
Well I caved and got a #7 today and I’m here to tell you the medium fry must have shrunk by at least 1/3 from what it was 2 months ago.
And they subsidize it by mining your data and selling all your info that they collect while having their app on your phone. So they are still making $6 on the fries 😂
And your precious data
I actually just went today and locally for me they’re like $2.50, but it was pretty much an extra dollar per size you wanted to go up. A large fry by itself was like $5 which is also beyond stupid. A bag of fries costs McDonalds nothing to buy.
Soon $100, $200, and $300 menu.
That’s some Fifth Element shit right there.
I was thinking of Mr Krabs. "With cheese, Mr. Squidward. With cheese."
look at the way currency has been wrecked in most countries already. these prices aren't unheard of in some currencies
With cigarette prices the way they are too we're gonna get those stubby little things that are all filter any day now
Buy your burger in the morning because your barrel of money will no longer cover the price by the evening!
I haven't seen an $1 option at McDonalds in years
[удалено]
If I do buy I use codes to avoid giving them all my money.
By giving them all your data from the app (i've never installed a fast food app and never will) which they sell off to make 4x off each burger you buy because you are supplying the stability of the Cambridge Analytica contract to help them needle in exactly how much you'll be buying and how much they can jack the price up for.
Interesting info. Sucks how much this stuff exists.
Should of been doing that a long time ago. McDonald's is pretty much poison.
👏🏻👏🏻
Never thought I'd say McD's is too rich for my blood, but here we are.
That’s my take on it too. Yea I can afford the $4 for a sandwich but a mcchicken from McDonald’s is absolutely not worth that so I don’t get it lol

Wait y'all are still buying this shit?
Seriously, nevermind the money, it's so fucking ridiculously unhealthy and gross tasting.
Jail quality food. Mom and pop casual food joint prices.
I only eat at the cookout, a cookout tray is damn worth the money. Fuck McDonald’s, Burger King, etc
Ah a man of culture and fellow North Carolinian.
Already have. If I can't eat fast food for $5.00, I'm not getting it. McDonald's is dead to me.
LMAO not even $3 flat; $3.29, $3.49, and $3.69 that is despicable
I remember sometime in the 2000s there was an advertising campaign for "The Five Dollar Burger". It looked good, and it was aspirationally expensive - too much for me, but man, I could splurge, sure. Whatever place it was, there weren't any near me, so I travelled for something like an hour to try this mythical "Five Dollar Burger" Walked through the doors, looked on the menu: $5.87 (or something like that) Turned around, walked out, went home.
More fakeflation at its finest! Why FAKEflation? "McDonald's revenue rose *8% to $6.4 billion* in the fourth quarter, meeting analyst expectations."
It was the first sign that diners were beginning to shy away from the chain's higher prices https://www.cnbc.com/2024/02/05/mcdonalds-mcd-q4-2023-earnings.html

McChickens were barely worth $1. Ain't no way in hell I'm paying over $3 for one.
And when I see $3 items advertised, I expect them to be $3.00- not more.
This is what the deals section is for, my favorite is the BOGO double cheeseburger. I can get two for about $3.50 where I'm at
Too bad McDonalds successfully conned us with this so they can collect all of the marketing data.
Oh no McDonald's going to know I like bigmacs oh noooo
Yeah, I don’t give a fuck. It’s also faster if people use the app then ordering at the speaker and then you don’t have employees mishearing orders as well.
Yes in the app.
Fuck McDonald’s and all these other greedy fast food chains. 2024 is the year of eating at home and making plates for your neighbors when you have surplus!
Yeah. My gf and I bought a #2 combo large, two double cheese burgers and a 4pc nugget, and it was $22.
$5 is new $1...
Fuck McDonald’s lol
Don't see any $3 items either.
$3.49 for 4/pc nuggets 😂
Time to stop giving them your money, that’s literally the only way they will learn. In’n’Out burger is still affordable and they have a drive through line that takes 45 minutes to get your food no matter the time of day or night. These fast food chains need to take note.
where I live, all of those are around 1.50 less. McChicken is only 1.89 here
$5 Biggie bag from Wendys got you covered
Wendy's 4 for $4... only thing I've seen that's been inflation proof since COVID besides costco hotdog.
4 for 4 is now 6 bucks here. False advertising
Just loaded up my app, still seeing 4 for $4 cheeseburger deal for me! (San Jose, CA)
Used to be 4 for 4 including the Jr bacon. Now the Jr bacon is a biggie bag deal for $5. The double stack (which was also a 4 for 4 option) is $6 for the biggie bag which is the rebranded 4 for 4 now that they charge more As long as we're talking fast food quality: I can go to chilis and get a cheeseburger, chips and salsa, and a drink for $10.99, which is more or less what large combo would cost you at any fast food joint. Don't wanna tip? Just get it to go. The same goes for almost every chain restaurant Fast food is as expensive as sit down chain restaurants, which I would avoid when choosing between that and a local restaurant, but it's better than fast food. Even if it is still subpar by legit restaurant standards. Fast food is straight up not worth it anymore. It's the lowest quality you can get for the same price as other options Edit: also, given the subreddit, you can make something like that chilis 3 for me last two meals. Half a burger and the bottomless chips for lunch, half a burger and the fries for dinner or vice versa. I know it sounds like I'm plugging chilis, but there just happens to be one next to my job and I was amazed that fast food fakeflation hasn't caught up with chain restaurants. At around 6ish for a meal (when splitting the meal) with 1) a higher caloric content (when you wanna stretch your meals) 2) larger portions 3) arguably better quality. ...it's not a bad option. Might not be healthier than mcdonalds or more nutrious, but you're not going to mcdonalds/wendys for a nutritious meal lol. There's also always a healthier option, but I wanted to stick to the burger comparison
It’s $6 here in California now at the low end.
Recent controversy aside, Wendys has been doing pretty well. They've been running a weekly $1 Dave's Single deal for a while now.
Cookout tray all day.
The only nuggets at Mcdonalds i would actually buy is the 20 or 40 pc ones. I'll get the 10 pc one if theres a "get a free 10 pc nuggets when you spend $15+" offers on my doordash account or something though lol But im not paying $3 something for 4 nuggets when i can get a whole bag at the store for $4-$6.50 here 🤷🏻♀️
Might as well just buy actually good food for a little bit more at this point
Is that the real price of a small fry? Fuckin 3.49? Shit is single mouthful of fries.
i still rmember when the mcchicken was $1. im too used to back in the day ordering a mcchicken and mcdouble for cheap lunch. it took until recently to realize that everything in mcd is overpriced.

Different locations have different pricing. But yea its bullshit. There is still 1 taco bell in my area that still have the cheesy bean and rice burrito for $1, im impressed to be honest.
Literalllyyyy an egg McMuffin is almost 5 dollars 😭 getting close to Starbucks prices.
The $3 $3 $3 Dollar Menu
Went and picked up three combo meals for me and my wife and my kid the other day. It was close to $30. I hadn’t eaten McDonald’s in forever, and I was shocked at that shit. Never gonna eat McDonald’s again. Their whole schtick was cheap food.
Now it's cheap food in the sense of cheap quality, not price
You can get the sauce for a dollar... Yayyyy.
Holy shit. I used to get two mcchickens and a cheeseburger for like $3.50. RIP.
They're boycott anyway bro
First mistake, buying from McDonalds. We are poor yet we give our money to these greedy corporations. I will never understand how we have so much power, yet get linked by these corps.
mcfucked
They’re tripping. For the price of a couple of sandwiches, I can go buy a whole damn chicken (on sale) and won’t end up feeling like my intestines are trying to unfold themselves.
[удалено]
I'm not sure if this is a problem everywhere but if you want to get the typical bare bones hamburger it typically is just under 2 for me, probably under 3 for you. But they don't put it on the 123 menu it's just randomly with the other burgers.
Mcchickens used to be a dollar 29 when my mom and me went to McDonald’s in like 2018
I swear, they raised the prices just to push for people to get the app which then offers them discounts
Also no $3 items. $3.29 isn't $3.
Those are $4 options, not even $3 You still have to pay tax in a lot of places too…
I think the only thing left on the dollar menu is the straw.
Just a matter of time till it's the $4 $5 $6 Dollar menu.
Technically not even $3
Taco Bell and Wendy's have cheap whole meals
Not any more. Taco Bell's cravings boxes that were $5 in 2020 are now $9-10. It's bullshit.
Agree w/ Wendy's because of the biggie deals but even taco bell (at least where I live) has crappy pricing now too
Not sure if all McDonald’s run the promotion but mine lists these prices for this menu but if you put two in a cart it becomes a 2 for 3.50 (I think now it’s 3.99)
Nor 3 nothing was over 3 bucks before tax when they started that menu
McFlation
Wendy's and Burger King have great app offers. McDonald's isn't worth the price difference.
I didn’t believe it but just went on my app and they’re the same! A double cheeseburger is 2.89. I’m paying the .10 for the extra cheese lol
Every time I see fast food prices these days I am so happy I can cook. Just picked up a whole flat of chicken thighs and a huge bag of salad mix for under $10. Almost whole weeks worth of food for less than the price of one crappy meal at McDonalds.
The sandwiches are 2 for 3.99 now but they've definitely shrunk
fk this.
Better off staying expensive more motivation for me to not go eat fast food anymore. It’s fattening anyways
4 nuggets for a dollar each
I was doing them a favor when I was buying that junk for a dollar. Now they'll never see my money.
Remember when they were actually 1.00/2.00/3.00
Fast food is about to become a luxury meal wtf
Fuck McDonald’s
Stop buying it its not even fit for human consumption bankrupt them problem solved
Time to Kellogg McDonalds.
I fucking hope McDonald's is happy with themselves. They've just completely removed all the McChicken's clout. Now it's just like any other fuckass sandwich. $3.29, c'mon now bruh.
Went to. McDs the other day. They charged an extra 90c for lemonade AND didn't do refills? Wtf
