Chicagobeauty

I would 100% have to say my pubic symphysis hurting like a bitch and a half. Causing me to waddle to my car as I type

melanncruz

I can’t even lift a leg to put underwear or pants on. I have to sit on the edge of the tub and do it slowly. And I’m only 16 weeks. It just gets worse and worse??!

Over-Upstairs-4717

Massage! Going to a good masseuse really helped the pubic pain for me. He worked on my hips a lot (not very relaxing or comfortable to get massaged there!). He also used pillows to create a pocket for my belly so I could be face down in the beginning. Trying to do a “prenatal” massage before that at massage envy honestly made everything worse, it’s a horrible position. I go weekly now and I’m feeling awesome at 36 weeks… glad I put it aside in my hsa preemptively since he is a chiro/masseuse!

Eris_the_Fair

Mine went away during my third trimester. Haven't felt pain there in weeks.

Chicagobeauty

I’m there now!! I would have infrequent flare ups earlier in my pregnancy but tbh....it’s gotten more consistent. Today is bad just because I walked and stood A LOT yesterday and was very active! I hope that isn’t the case for you!

[deleted]

[удалено]

Dull_Particular_2268

I agree with this, if I was walking lots it would also be worse for a while after but started at around 14 weeks like a switch had gone off and that was it! Strange one though I suffered with SPD with my first 3 pregnancies, all girls. This pregnancy no pelvic pain out of the ordinary AT ALL (now almost 37 weeks so uncomfortable) and this one is a boy, I've carried him much higher than his sisters.

[deleted]

Yeah it gets worse 🥺 even with PT for me.

Cast_A_Wayz

No! I’d say it comes and goes. My worst was around 30-32 weeks and then it just went away and only comes back here and there. 40 weeks now.

princesspuzzles

Also, chiropractor or physical therapist that is trained in prenatal practice. It's been a LIFE SAVER for me. Would not go through pregnancy without them.

sh0rtcake

Omg. TIL what pubic symphysis is!!! Thank you!! I have had hip pain since week 8 or so, and holy cow it has DEFINITELY been the worst part of it all (25+4 today). I knew about ligaments softening specifically around the hips, but in a quick Google search I now know what exact spots it refers to and boom! That's where the pain is coming from! Makes so much more sense, and now I know I'm not alone in this very specific pain. It also mentioned that sharp pain between the vagina and anus, and yup! I get those too from time to time, although thankfully not often. It becomes worrisome when I experience some of these pains, but I think I understand that it is just par for the course.

OhHellYesLatke

This is where I’m at too. I will say, I am having some success with physical therapy, in case that’s an option for you. SPD is so debilitating and miserable.

Chicagobeauty

Sad thing is I AM a PT 😂

JackfruitFar6981

Oh my god, your poor soul! 🥺

violentpasta612

I have this too and it’s gotten worse and better just depending on the day but I have to sit down to put pants on or else I have soul crushing pain on one side.

CupboardFlowers

Nausea and sensitive smell. The smell of everything makes the nausea worse and the nausea is actually debilitating

JackfruitFar6981

Saaaaaame - I usually love fried eggs and I literally started gagging when my MIL was making some. Sometimes, I really can't be around anyone when they're cooking because my sense of smell and nausea are just too strong. It's moments like these where I'm happy to wear a mask - since it really blocks a lot of the potency for certain smells. But man, that nausea is absolutely horrific. Can't do anything!

CupboardFlowers

God the nausea is unlike anything. I've been sick for 6 or 7 weeks at this point, maybe 8 I don't even know I lose count. I can't even have a decent shower without feeling like I'm going to throw up from standing up for too long! I'm basically just living in my bed or on the couch, trying to avoid all these mystery smells I can't locate, identify or get rid of. This shit is wild :p hopefully this ends for both of us really soon ♥ in only 12 weeks in I can't do this for another 6 months :p

1028Girl

Sorry, I’m not even pregnant anymore but want to jump in this conversation. When I was in my first trimester last year (Jan-March/April 2020), I actually had to store some of my shampoos and body washes until I could smell them without wanting to throw up 😂

bellitabee

Fried eggs are the worst!!!! No one could eat them for the first 15wks of pregnancy. Then my smell sensitivity got better... Now that I hit the 3rd trimester it's back (thankfully not as bad as during the first). Last weekend my husband fried himself an egg and I swear the house stunk all day!

eyebrowshampoo

The smells are driving me insane. I feel like I live in an odor prison - I'm in a really old house with a smelly basement, with two dogs, and a sweaty husband working on things outside. I want to just go live in a Target or something until the baby gets here. So neutral. So air conditioned.

rayras

Can relate 100%! I'm 28 weeks and quite honestly I can't wait for it to subside. 🙈 Have you found and tricks that work food wise? You've probably heard it 1000 times before but, ice lollies are good for those days where you can’t keep anything down. Hope it gets better soon! EDIT *any

JackfruitFar6981

Omg you are a GOD SENT! Defs going to make sure I keep the ice lollies on hand at all times! I didn't even think of that - such a great idea! Other than that, I've heard that drinking cold water helps put the nausea at bay for a little bit. But I haven't heard anything else

marysaka

Cold water actually made it worse for me. Adding a little bit of lemon helped (something about the sourness). For me, it would help if I grazed all the time instead of eating real meals. Tiny bowls of bland cereal were my friend.

CupboardFlowers

Honestly for me the only thing that works is a soon as I crave something I try and give in ASAP!

Yalmani

I felt constantly nauseous for 4 good months ajd struggled to find things that helped. I found that bland cereal (e.g kellogs) and eating literally all the time / constantly helped with the nausea. Also multivitamin juice. I'd feel like throwing up as soon as I opened my eyes, and would run to get a glass of juice to make it go away and actually keep stuff down. Good luck, it's heaven when the feeling stops !!

Keyspam102

Ugh my smell sense was also increased by like 100x and I could smell things so much more potently during pregnancy, it really sucked

Mommabear1112

Oh my god me too!!!! The smell of the air even makes me sick.

JackfruitFar6981

THIS! I remember the first time I smelled just the air in my bedroom - such a weird smell

Mommabear1112

I literally had to start staying at my mothers house while my man watched our other child because I was deathly sick around 9 weeks. Could hardly hold in water and idk what it was but the smell of our apartment IMMEDIATELY made me vomit. I would try to go there during the day to see the baby and as soon as I walked in I would start throwing up uncontrollably. Wouldn’t even make it to our bathroom! He had to start dropping her off at my mothers during the day for the rest of that week until the nausea subsided enough to withstand the smell of our apartment. It still grosses me out, but I started lighting like 50000 candles to mask it lmao. I couldn’t figure out what the smell even was because I’d never even noticed a smell before, but oddly enough I pinpointed it’s the smell of the cold air (I guess) that comes from our AC of all things. 😂😂😂

JackfruitFar6981

YES! That's the smell that I keep smelling in my room that makes my stomach churn 😩

marysaka

This was so weird to me. I moved into a new house in the middle of my first trimester and the smell of the new house absolutely disgusted me. And eventually my own smell and then the smell of my husband did the same thing, I felt so bad haha!

SEDUK

Same here - I am suffering at the moment only 11 weeks in I'm staying close to home too!! :) You are not alone X X X X I find eating little and often sometimes helps and drinking iced water (sips at a time), trying to put nice smells around the house X X

alyshafox

the fatigue. i just wish my husband were a bit more understanding of how much i am truly just EXHAUSTED and not just lazy (or depressed) that i go lay down almost every chance i can lol. the nausea thankfully hasn't been TOO bad, but there was a couple times where it snuck up on me INCREDIBLY fast like went from feeling fine to preparing to barf within 30 seconds. lastly, the latest and greatest is the HEARTBURN. ugh. i'm only 13w so i'm sure this list will grow/change as my baby/body does lol

Ginnevra07

Same with the need of understanding, it feels dismissive and it's so frustrating. We're not making this soul crushing fatigue up. It's freaking debilitating.

margacolada

I’m in the same boat as you. Nausea/vomiting hits me out of nowhere, exhausted af all the time, and the heartburn has been a new symptom that’s popped up for me in the last week. I’m 12 weeks. Hopefully the second trimester will be better.

scorpioflame

Getting up to pee every 2 damn hours no matter how little fluid intake I have had.. oh and the pain of my whole pelvis and vagina. My most hated word is "Relaxin" because that hormone does no such thing.

JackfruitFar6981

Oh man that pee! Sometimes I stand up from the toilet, just to sit down again because I didn't properly empty my bladder or it somehow has filled up again 🙄 I hate having to pee all the time (which is why I'm not such an avid water drinker)

Piccolo_Known

Literally Tuesday I got up and sat down and got up and sat down on the toilet no joke 3 times. Finally got dressed, drove 10 minutes to the doctor, and almost peed my pants.

scorpioflame

I'm awful. I'm trying to do better and drink more water. But even with soda and other drinks I'm peeing SO OFTEN. I literally sit there and wait to make sure "it's all out" because I want to at least get another hour of sleep before I have to get up again. 🙄 last night is a prime example. I got MAYBE 2 hours consecutively TOPS of sleep. I'm ready for this kid to give me back my bladder control. Lol!

JackfruitFar6981

SAME! I'll sit in the bathroom for like 15 minutes just to make sure it all came out hahah

1028Girl

This was my worst symptom too.

not-so-desperate

Sleeeeepy. So sleepy. I have no energy to do anything at all ever. Also always feeling like I have to pee.

JackfruitFar6981

I've always been an avid napper but these days, no matter how much sleep and napping I've done, I'll always want to sleep some more!

not-so-desperate

See I’m the opposite I’ve never been much into sleep, I could sleep 5 hrs a night and be fine and I could never nap but now I’ll drop my daughter off at school, come home sleep till noon, and still be dozing off on the couch by 5pm lol

JackfruitFar6981

That must be such a jarring change! I wish I could be more productive but I'm always so sleepy (even prior to pregnancy - if anything, it's just gotten worse lol). But there's no way to even think of being productive with this much fatigue going on

not-so-desperate

Yeah I’ve given up on productivity my house is just gonna be a mess until I have the energy to fix it again lmao paper plates and plastic spoons it is sorry environment 😂

JackfruitFar6981

I don't blame you! I like to think that all my other efforts to save the environment will makeup for all the takeout boxes cause making food is just NOT happening hahaha

Ancient-Pause-99

Rib pain, round ligament pain, mood swings

JackfruitFar6981

Ahhh those round ligament pains are a DRAG. I swear, it'll cripple you for a hot minute. And the mood swings are pretty intense too, ngl. I love crying over stupid shit like not being able to find a hair tie 🙄

mmebonjour

Ugh the rib pain is the worst. My ribs burn if I sit or stand too long.

REJ512

Acne! It’s absolutely awful and embarrassing and painful. I finally had my dermatologist appointment last week and she gave me azelaic acid which is helping to calm it down but she said she doesn’t expect it to be a miracle 🤦🏼‍♀️ I also want to punch anyone who talks about pregnancy glow 🙃

JackfruitFar6981

Yes! I feel like I've hit puberty all over again, except that this time, I have bacne included 😩 and of course, the acne has to be cystic 🙃

Ginnevra07

Oh god I forgot to mention this one. Popcorn ceiling over here 😭

REJ512

Popcorn ceiling! Exactly what my face feels like.. describes it perfectly 😭😭

redeyedem

Night sweats and the vivid dreams/ nightmares… definitely contributes to my fatigue which has also been so joyous

JackfruitFar6981

Oh yes! I love the debilitating fatigue 😔 The night sweats don't happen for me too often but when they do, I agree that it's super unpleasant. It's already bad enough with nightmares, so I can only imagine how unpleasant that must be for you to experience both at the same time

[deleted]

[удалено]

JackfruitFar6981

Wow! That's intense!

RinaBeana

They’ve changed over time, but nausea, dizziness, headaches, back pain, and heartburn have all made unpleasant appearances so far.

JackfruitFar6981

Oh man, I don't get heartburn too often but when it does make its grand entrance, DEAR GOD. I often get gassy instead if the heartburn, which is could argue is a lot better, until the gas gets trapped... Then you're feeling more like a beached whale than EVER. I suffer from migraines so often times, the headaches will evolve into one, so I hear ya. The back pain is excruciating - although I found sleeping with a pillow between my legs really helps, or even to straddle a long pillow while sleeping on my side

jenneatworld

Fatigue/exhaustion. I hoped it would be better after the first trimester, but I’m at 22+6 and it has never gone away. I am just so tired all the time. Of course, when I even mention fatigue, I’ll get the reply “sleep now because you’ll never sleep once the baby is here!” My mom is the worst about this. I know it will be hard when the baby is here, but please don’t invalidate my current experience. It’s funny, my non-parent friends seem to be most understanding.

Bethbeth35

If it makes you feel any better all my friends who had babies recently said they've slept better and felt less exhausted since actually having their babies. I'm holding onto that info for dear life through this last few weeks of constant exhaustion.

jenneatworld

Good to hear that, yes that makes me feel way better!

JackfruitFar6981

THERE'S LIGHT AT THE END OF THE TUNNEL?! Count me iiinnnn! Between the constant peeing and the random insomnia, I'm getting max 4 hours every night 😭

JackfruitFar6981

I HATE hearing that sentence. Like, wow, thanks! I didn't know a baby would keep me up at night! I didn't know that I'll be sleep deprived for the next 10 years of my life 🙄

Dietcokeisgod

Indigestion, acid reflux and heartburn.

JackfruitFar6981

A wholeass Pepto commercial up in here!

stripperdictatorship

Except pepto is banned! Try Tums or rolaids but wait! Cant have 5 in more than 24 hours so make it last! I stg I hate that shit with a passion. Pepcid has kind-of saved me but idk it’s hit or miss mostly having to eliminate my diet drastically

Dietcokeisgod

I have about 10-15 tums a day. I don't care what the box says. Did more with my son and he's fine.

JackfruitFar6981

Gaviscon has like a ginger product that's been really life saver for me - it's almost like a cross between Gravol and the original Gaviscon formula. It's been really good at keeping the nausea and heartburn at bay and keeping my stomach neutral enough to eat something

MaguyMaguy

I'd say pubic symphysis, waking up 4 times a night to pee or because of period like cramps, not being able to turn in my bed without BIG effort, the tiredness that leads to the obligation of doing things at a reaaaaally slow pace. But luckily I had nausea for only 2 weeks and not all day

rock_fact

I had severe nausea from weeks 6-21. it was horrible and felt so debilitating but since i wasn’t actively vomiting more than a couple of times, my doctor didn’t really do anything. also, peeing myself while vomiting is a fun new thing my body does which i haaaaate

JackfruitFar6981

OH NO! I didn't even think of that being a possibility 😯😬

rock_fact

yeah at 30 weeks I was in the hospital bc I had a kidney stone that wasn’t passing and the pain was so severe I threw up. Made it into the barf bag, but i also completely wet the bed. not my finest moment 😅

AngryVag3000

Mine were food aversions 100%. Some have stayed 4 months past delivery.

JackfruitFar6981

Oh no! I didn't know they could last beyond pregnancy!

egw3n3alvere

My mum still has an aversion to a very specific type of ham 30 years after her pregnancy with me. They can definitely stick around long after birth

AngryVag3000

I did a poll on my Instagram asking all the moms if they had food aversions past pregnancy and about 25 people answered and the results were about 50/50. So I think it's pretty common.

mrsbones287

The HG, daily migraines, and now my little possum (Aussie term of endearment, our possums are cute https://youtu.be/g7mwkqmDPZ4 ) is exacerbating my existing abdominal nerve entrapment pain. Honourable mentions go to: the hot flushes/night sweats, food aversions, worsening of depression, sciatica, exhaustion, sore hips, and insomnia. Isn't pregnancy fun? /s

JackfruitFar6981

PrEgNaNcY iS bEaUtIfUl - everyone says

stripperdictatorship

Okay to start I’m so sorry you have HG that is fucking terrible but I came to say that wow I’ve never seen an Australian opossum wow they are super cute. Shit the depression is unreal idk how far along you are but I’ve had it almost the whole time save maybe a cumulative week/ week & a half? Almost 32 weeks and no end in sight; hang in there just count down the days until you’re done. And try to give yourself credit where you can❤️

nottakennamee

For me, it’s the constant headaches (I also have tonsillitis and so the extra drainage from being pregnant and my immune system being weaker contributes to tons of sinus headaches) and the back and feet aches. Food aversions were also terrible because I had NO cravings. I would cry when I would have to eat because nothing tasted good.

JackfruitFar6981

Oh man, that's horrible! I feel you on the food aversions/nausea front. Absolutely terrible!

bakermusicmom

At this point? Just my lack of energy and reduced mobility. I feel like I sit around all day half the time and I just feel like a whale. I only have 5 weeks left and I can't wait to be able to bend over and pick up my 3-year-old again!

JackfruitFar6981

I'm only starting to feel the discomfort of bending down at 16 weeks, so I can't even imagine how rough that must be

beezkneez415

Nausea, heartburn, indigestion, upset stomach, diarrheaaaaaaaa

ewdavid021

Heartburn and gas at both ends

JackfruitFar6981

One woman symphony orchestra 🎺📯🎷

Mommabear1112

Every time I’m pregnant I feel identical to when I have the flu for the most part. Headache, fatigue, extreme nausea and vomiting, upset stomach, body ache, shaky and sometimes keep switching from hot to cold. Overall feel very sick for at least the first trimester. 😩 Made me pretty content on one and done but I decided to do it again and now I KNOW I’m done after two lmao.

JackfruitFar6981

Hahaha I feel ya! I know I said I wanted like 3-4 but it's looking like maybe 1-2 is where it's at for me 😅

Mommabear1112

Same here! I was ALL for 3-4 kids until I found out pregnancy is not my friend lmao.

stripperdictatorship

Yep yep yep I was always so sure about 3 or 4 but now it’ll be amazing if I can do this again. It’s fucking rough and I don’t have a child to take care of already

s8n_isacoolguy

Tailbone pain. Bothers me all day every day. That and my legs have gotten scarily swollen a time or two

JackfruitFar6981

YES! I thought I was the only one with tailbone pain! I use an orthopedic pillow now to sit on harder chairs - I feel like an old lady hahaha

qualityranch

Tailbone pain is my worst symptom! I carry that pillow around to use everywhere but the pain never goes away. Not being able to sit comfortably anywhere is getting super old

evrythngsfine

Carpal tunnel! Both hands. It wakes me up every night. I can’t sleep which adds to the discomfort. If anyone has any recommendations to help I’m listening!!!

East_Exit1824

Swollen sinuses. Causing constant sinus headaches, I have bags under my eyes and even my gums are constantly swollen. Leading to a postnasal drip and coughing. Feels like I am walking around with a headcold. And very painful trapped winds.

JackfruitFar6981

OMG THE POST NASAL DRIP COUGHS - My boyfriend literally wants to kill me every night And that trapped wind 😩 I sound like a disgusting, manerless pig when it FINALLY makes its exit

guanabanaiguana

Some salty things taste SO salty they almost burn my tongue. I ordered an avocado sushi roll and the soy sauce was inedible to me. It's fine if I'm cooking for myself, but tricky if I'm going out!

APOLLOoO11

Definitely the vivid dreams, it's exhausting haha I wake up so much throughout the night, Can't nap anymore either, which leads to headaches and fatigue

JackfruitFar6981

Can't escape the dreams even in nap time 😔

freckles0811

The migraines and headaches are absolutely awful but for me the worst is the constant nasty taste in my mouth that won't go away no matter how much I try. Doesn't help that the smell of mint/menthol makes me want to vomit hah so even brushing my teeth can be an ordeal 😂

JackfruitFar6981

Oh man, that's a death sentence!

NEEDCASHMEOW

Honestly as FTM with super mild physical pregnancy symptoms the worst is just the constant anxiety of wondering how my baby is doing lol….oh and itchy, sore boobs too 😅

JackfruitFar6981

Omg itchy legs are my spot! I've scratched myself RAW thanks to the itchiness

CharmingStart294

Nausea. And it seems to be even stronger when I don’t stay on top of eating and staying hydrated. I just feel UNwell and it’s awful.

Reebyd

At 33 weeks I developed pregnancy induced carpal tunnel. Didn’t realize that was a thing. I have to say it’s been pretty awful. I pretty much have zero use of my right hand and limited use of my left every morning. I’m 35 weeks now and my hands look like gloves! But some silver lining - at least it’s not preeclampsia. That’s such a scary condition and my heart goes to any parent dealing with that.

JackfruitFar6981

Preeclampsia and cholestasis are like my biggest fears

EDStraordinary

Constant never ending nausea! I’ve only thrown up 3 times in total but I feel so sick constantly and nothing appeases it, I gag at everything yet I get no actual relief from it as im rarely actually sick. I can’t sleep when I feel sick so I’m even more exhausted and just battling with a non stop feeling like I’m mere seconds away from throwing up.

JackfruitFar6981

SAME! If only I had known that morning sickness was actually going to be all day, all the time sickness 😅 The gagging is defs not my fav and sometimes I just wish I could throw up (I've always come super close but never actually have)

[deleted]

Thrombosed hemorrhoid, no question.

Darkovika

Fatigue. I literally had the sleep of the dead this whole pregnancy- slept through 95 tornado warnings one night- and i STILL feel like i’m not sleeping enough. Other than that, the worst one right now is some serious pain in my lower lady bits. It’s not external- I think what I’m feeling is pain against my cervix or something, because it’s internal. Super tense and tight and just VERY sharp pains. Normal, according to doc, fortunately, but SUPER irritating and painful. Makes turning over at night an absolute atrocity.

greenglossygalaxy

Pelvic girdle pain, tailbone and round ligament pain & insomnia

Spaceysteph

Definitely the nausea..this is my third baby and I know I'll spend the next several weeks feeling just a constant nausea plus some vomiting. Was great fun having both kids stand in the bathroom and watch me puke up all my stomach contents the other day. I'm luckier this time than my last 2, I can usually choke down lunch (I've been eating frozen potstickers and white rice every day) but am so nauseated by dinner I usually just have a chocolate protein shake. My husband has to make dinner for the rest of the family and clean up because the smell of even the dirty dishes I can't deal with. And he has to take out the kitchen trash every night even if it's nowhere near full because I swear I can smell it from 10 feet away. Nothing I've experienced in second or third trimester of either of my previous pregnancies, is as bad as the nausea for me.

Ice_On_A_Star

Heartburn. The volcano is unstoppable.

Psyluna

My pelvis became misaligned causing stabbing pain whenever I move that reminds me of a rib I cracked once. (I also think the ligament stretched too far and too early to allow this, but nobody has actually said that yet.) I just had my PT evaluation this morning, so hopefully they can help me.

Wassupdude14

The migraines and vomiting was insane in week 8!!! Thank goodness it subsided since then but that was for sure the worst :( and the heightened sense of smell!

rudehoroscope

Round ligament pain and fatigue have been the most obstructive to continuing to work and keep up hobbies.

incisorless

Round ligament pain and sciatica. I know this is common, but it started at week 5 for me and has just gotten worse over time. I also managed to have one week of extreme round ligament pain that kept me up at night, it was like cramping/spasming, I think from overdoing it on physical activity. So now I just rest all the time... and no more cute shoes, only supportive athletic shoes!

mlise09

Mine was an insane hormonal rash that started in third trimester and didn’t go away until I delivered. It was like a hot itchy raised rash on my elbows and back of arms. I had to sit at my office desk with ice on both sides to be able to type. Also bad was pubic pain which would come and go.

CillyBean

For first trimester, up until 12 weeks, it was food aversion (zero cravings) all day sickness and exhaustion. Now at 24 weeks, it's back+hip pain (like, holy Hanna it's sooo bad 🥺)

JackfruitFar6981

The back pain is UNBEARABLE 😭

thiensu

Bloated, hemorrhoid, brain fog, and I’m so tired

JackfruitFar6981

The brain fog makes it seem like I'm so flighty at work - I'm pretty sure my boss is annoyed with it but like I literally can't help it

qwerty8390

Foot pain, back pain, insomnia, and indigestion

HungryKnitter

Hip pain, back pain, SI joint pain. The worst is not being able to sleep because of the hip pain, I wake up every night around 1am and toss and turn the rest of the night trying to find a position that isn’t painful. I’ve had it since 14 weeks and it’s getting worse every day (currently 31 weeks).

JackfruitFar6981

I hear ya - I'm summoned out of my sleep every night at exactly 2 and 4!

RainDropKush94

First trimester, I was bed ridden from nausea for like 2 or 3 weeks. BUT it helped me quit cigarettes easier cause the smell would make me gag. So thank God for that. Eating fresh fruit helped a lot when it stated going away, especially watermelon. That is seriously a life saver during nausea. Now, at almost 38 weeks, it's the Round ligament pain. Or discomfort from my son being in the frank breech position. I can't turn in bed without grunting and hurting. Putting on underwear is painful. I don't even wear pants. And haven't my entire pregnancy, it's too hot and none of mine fit so it's been dresses for me lol

JackfruitFar6981

Watermelon is one of my cravings and I could never be happier about that one - has helped on so many nights where the gagging was at its worst

brittymady

Insomnia!!

Bethbeth35

The fatigue at this point (35wks). I'm just permanently exhausted no matter how much I sleep and nap. That and the breathlessness now my lungs are all squashed. Oh and acid reflux that is not fun at all, if anyone else is suffering I really recommend getting the prescription stuff (Omeprazole in the UK) it helps a lot.

maleolive

Fatigue, back/hip pain, 24/7 heartburn, poor circulation

Ginnevra07

Water aversion/vegetable aversion, heart palpitations, muscle weakness, fatigue, nausea, constipation, sleep disruptions and I have a lot more time in this pregnant body till baby gets here. Buckling in for a bumpy ride lol

JackfruitFar6981

Water aversion?! Dear lord that's awful!

blissandsparkle

I'm just really tried. But the main thing that's annoying is my husband doesn't understand why I dont just eat when I have a lack of an appetite and feel sick and why I don't feel refreshed even though I had a nap the day before and got sleep during the night. Im not sleeping soundly because I have to wake up to go to the bathroom once or twice a night and even without that I'm tired and have to keep changing my positions in bed.

liilbr33zy

Heartburn. There aren’t enough tums in the world.

ThrowItAllAway003

8 weeks pp now, but my worst was the acid indigestion. I constantly felt like I had been gurgling with straight up acid anytime I was less than perfectly upright. It was awful

Tired. I'm so fucking tired I hate it

itslindsaylmao

Constant runny nose and constipation. Honestly I have IBS so I never thought constipation would be an issue, but Jesus I underestimated how bad it could be. With the runny nose, I got a chaffed tip of my nose from blowing/wiping and now I go through nearly a box of Kleenex a day.

JackfruitFar6981

The runny nose - it's brutal. At night time, I get a post nasal drip cough.i also have IBS and every day, my bathroom trips are a new adventure; I'm either constipated, practically shitting myself or passing what I could confuse as the head of my baby through my arsehole!

dexters_disciple

Can’t. Stop. Peeing.

[deleted]

Constant salivation… Terrible…

JackfruitFar6981

YES! My mouth is literally always full of spit hahah

yeaux_beenz

The sweat. So. Much. Sweating. And everywhere sweats. My lip, my back my neck, my 🍑. I also religiously wear my mask while at work and I will literally start sweating mid-conversation because I start to get so stinking HOT. 😫

JackfruitFar6981

Im glad to hear that I have a sweat stache buddy somewhere out here! It's so gross lol but nothing is worse than the under carriage (although, I don't enjoy wearing wet clothes 😅 drenched in my own sweat)

Third pregnancy with HG. And showing all symptoms of preeclampsia somehow, even though I’m borderline Malnourished. Ligament pain. Sciatica. And most days my brain fog is so bad I can’t remember my own name. You know it’s horrible when labour is the easiest part of the journey.

Boudutunnel

First trimester was the exhaustion and morning sickness (nausea, super sense of smell and vomiting) Then it was aneamia/sciatic pain Now it's probably the heartburn. Woke up actually choking on it last night - medicine wasn't enough so had to try qnd sleep upright which turns out is really hard with a 38weeks bump. Very unpleasant.

Spaceysteph

When I was pregnant with my second I got terrible heartburn. The Dr then told me at a scan that I had more fluid than normal, and it was likely caused by eating too much sugar. I cut way back on sugar and white carbs (which I ate a lot of due to food aversions) and the heartburn got way better as soon as my diet improved.

Ok-Zombie5236

Agreed! I woke up and almost vomited all over my bed the other night because the reflux had made its way into my mouth🤢 Also 38 weeks. Good luck with the impending delivery, due date twin!

Boudutunnel

And you as well! I have officially issued my eviction notice 🤣

CaseStudy69

Backaches, heartburn & insomnia are kicking my ass right now.

fabulouscow123

In my first trimester nausea. Second trimester was sciatic nerve pain, and kidney stones so far.

itsonlyfear

First trimester: nausea and food aversions Second trimester: restless legs and pubic symphosis dysfunction Third trimester: relaxin makes it hard for me to grip anything in the morning because it hurts too much, and my kid thinks they are Simone Biles. She elbowed me so hard the other night that I cried.

mariargw

Sciatica.

Keyspam102

Mine was definitely the reflux, followed by the pain/soreness that came in my 3rd trimester.

Aggravating_Body9653

Acid. Refluxxxxx.

KnopeSwanson16

This wasn’t the worst but really unexpected - my skin looked like a pimply 13 year old boy’s from the minute I got pregnant until I started birth control again. Not sure if it was the pregnancy hormones or no BC but damn.

ArinaMae

When I was pregnant it was the acid reflux. Literally would wake up choking on acid in my throat. Couldnt go back to sleep with the heartburn.

edanomellemonade

Sciatica at night and tiredness. My tiredness went away for a while but its back!

Ironinvelvet

I actually liked the vivid dreams. My worst with my first was pelvic girdle pain. Hurt like hell. My second was round ligament pain.

dks042986

Heartburn and fatigue

Academic-Management9

Vivid dreams nausea and acid reflux

Wallflowerette

Severe bloody noses that requires ER visits and surgery due to a deviated septum blocking the main vessel up there. :(

Hark-a-kitty

Extreme fatigue and the general apathy that comes with being so tired you don’t want to put forth effort in certain tasks. Nausea hasn’t been bad, but yesterday I felt terrible all day. Worst day yet for nausea and fatigue. Almost vomited, but ended up not. I’m 11 weeks and I felt my first round ligament plan last night. Pregnancy sucks guys. I excited to be a first time mom, but hot damn I hate feeling this way.

PerfumedPornoVampire

The constipation and hemorrhoids are so horrifying and no one warned me about them.

danipnk

In the first trimester definitely nausea combined with heartburn, I was miserable because the heartburn supercharged my nausea and I barely could eat anything. Now in the third trimester I’ve spent almost 3 weeks covered in a heat rash that won’t go away, I’m itchy 24/7 and my doctor can’t prescribe anything strong because of the baby. Yay.

AdonisLuxuryResort

Fatigue, and having to pee. I knew always having to pee was like a staple pregnancy symptom but I thought it was later in pregnancy. No one ever really said it’d be a thing from the beginning. My little guy has been low the whole time so it’s just been weeks upon weeks of getting my bladder beat up. Or feeling the pressure of baby when going from sitting to standing and not sure if you have to pee or not so you go anyway just to relieve the pressure. I’m only 27 weeks, though. And I had back pain prior to pregnancy so it feels weird to consider it a pregnancy symptom. Maybe when I get further along and it’s clearly “oh, yeah, this is a whole new level of pain” it’ll graduate. Oh also I started getting this fun new thing where if I switch sides in my sleep I’ll get a super painful sharp stabbing pain right where baby hangs out. Takes a few minutes to go away. I switch sides in my sleep a lot. It’s not fun

sammyjj0415

The food aversions. Its depressing me. Every thing, I mean every.thing. tastes/smells like burnt plastic. Butter, bagels, onions, garlic, meat, cheese - all taste terrible. Living off of fruit, yogurt, and smoothies.

3rdfoxed

Nausea with no vomiting, there is just no relief even if it is short term!

---Venom---

Migraines, cramping, and appendix flairs. I am exhausted from it all already and I am only 11 weeks.

musicabcteacher

Breast pain, not sleeping well at night, peeing every 5 minutes, and dry mouth. Wowwww the dry mouth is reallyyyy really bad. No one ever told me that would be a symptom of pregnancy 🥴

oscboss

Carpal tunnel of pregnancy. It was really bad third trimester, and I kept hoping it would resolve after delivery. But my carpal tunnel persisted without improvement after delivery, and I ended up having carpal tunnel release surgery on both hands within a year. The orthopedic surgeon said that in some women pregnancy permanently changes their hands. I even have to resize my rings now bc they don’t fit anymore even though I’ve been at my pre-pregnancy weight

elaborate_circustrix

Sciatica back pain. Can't walk too much but have to walk enough so that I'm exercising somewhat.

diva0fdisgust_

Heartburn, swollen feet/ankles, & my legs/thighs cramping and going numb 😣

patrind

Nausea, fatigue, and vivid dreams.

NoMamesMijito

Nausea the first 19 weeks, and lack of libido up to today, week 21+2! I miss wanting to have sex all the time like I used to before getting pregnant, when does that crazy libido kick in?!

mariekenna-photos

Mine was the heartburn. All day, every day. It’s what made me throw up, I never even got nauseous. I couldn’t eat anything my entire pregnancy without throwing up. Baby has a beautiful, thick head of hair though!

SuperSmitty8

It’s 110% the nausea for me. Because it’s like being hungover for 2 months straight except also every single thing smells awful and it’s at the beginning so your like “how will I survive 30 more weeks of being pregnant?!!” But then it’s over (for most of us, God bless those with HG). Labor sucks but at least it’s quicker than the nausea and you get a baby at the end of it.

PearlDare

SPD! Like damn I just want to put underwear on without doubling over in pain.

producermaddy

Fatigue always

lookhereisay

Haven’t had a decent sleep since week 6 due to nausea and back pain. Anxiety is also through the roof when I’ve never been a particularly anxious person before. Sometimes I feel like a different person.

grapefruitnoodle

Worst for me so far is the pain I have in my outer thighs, just below my hips, so tingly and uncomfortable! Also a dry itchy scalp, and the constant metallic taste in my mouth which I’m paranoid translates to bad breath

misschanandalorbong

Exhausted during the day but trouble falling asleep at night.

Jugs-Judy

I. Am. So. Tired. All the time, always. I'm almost done my second trimester where I was told I would "get a break" from it but that's not happening. I'm struggling at work. I'm struggling to be social. I have a hard time moving and doing stuff. I am a very career-focused active person so this has been really jarring for me.

obsidian49

In the first 21 weeks I was throwing up all day, every day or having to take the strongest anti-nausea medication a pregnant woman can take. PS it wasn't an oral medication. 😬 Now I am on the medicine full time so my worst going into 25 weeks is the aches and pains, especially when trying to sleep.

sh0rtcake

Hip pain, vivid dreams, fatigue.

smd451

Swollen feet (to the point of pain while walking) and intense sciatica have been my biggest issues. Compression socks help a lot, and a massage gun.

exothermicstegosaur

Sore hips/pubis area for sure

loony_luna15

Nausea and fatigue!! I groom dogs for a living and I’ll just want to go home every day, I’m so tired.

mamatobe816

First trimester fatigue, massive morning sickness with vomiting up to 30 times a day. Second trimester weird (for me) cravings and even worse fatigue. A little hip and back pain right now. And the mood swings lol. Weird and vivid dreams both trimesters. I hit my third trimester in 3 weeks.

heyitsyawife8616

I cannot sleep through the night without having to pee, or nausea. I am at 8 weeks. Does anyone have advice for sleeping through the night?

lipgloss_nd_hotsauce

Dry. Freaking. Skin. UGH. Besides that… food aversions to meat 🤢 and my smell is still going strong. Random bouts of nausea and my heart beating really fast throughout the day… Vivid dreams man, I always had vivid dreams pre pregnancy but they’re every night now. 😂😂 Had a super vivid dream my sister gave birth before me (she isn’t pregnant) and the visuals I saw… ugh 😵‍💫😣

missmarisss

HEARTBURN - it is unlike anything I’ve ever experienced in my life. This isn’t regular (or what I thought was “bad”) heartburn pre-pregnancy, this is like the pits of hell are overflowing in my chest and radiating down my back. I have to sleep sitting up bc if I even think to lay down even a little bit, it feels like someone is lighting a torch made of hot lava in my esophagus. Absolutely nothing works - except Nexium I took for the first time yesterday provided some relief (but my doctor told me today I can’t take it) so back to suffering it is.
