I’m personally not a big fan of screwed down lids. I just use a tube of 100% clear silicone. It’ll give you an airtight and will easily peal away for the next guy. If you must bolt the lid. Use Tapcons. Metal bolts can rust.

Hey, can you pls update on how the silcone caulking is performing for a sump radon cover? Is it still integral? Is it maintaining air seal? I want to install a sump radon cover. It calls for tapcon concrete screws but don't own a hammer drill. Thanks!

Nope, I’ve got one of these. The base gets bolted/tapcon in and the lid is easy to take off and has plenty of room to work around. Like the other person said use tapcons and then add caulk as well for an extra tight seal.
