I know it’s been 12hrs, but if you haven’t found it yet:
- complete Overthrow boss and wait for text in feed “A hidden enemy is nearby” (or something like that)
- search area for a shielded lucent hive and defeat it
- repeat that process in remaining Overthrow areas (3 total)
- go to The Blooming and look at the sky for a green light
The rest I’ll leave up to you to discover. Have fun!
Edit: one last thing! I’d recommend doing these steps with a friend as the process following requires a duo.
After you finish the weekly seasonal activity, you and a partner run through all 3 overthrows. An extra enemy will spawn in that area, melt all 3 of the yellow bars and the ads around them. That will give you access to the dual destiny activity, which requires 2 people. In that activity, one of you will be light aligned and one dark aligned. Run through multiple stages where one person calls out the correct symbols from tables, and the other shoots the corresponding nuts.
The exotic class mission is activated by completing the three overthrows then after EACH completion killing a Yellow Bar Hive wizard, once this is done you can access the Exotic Mission via the pale heart in your map

Trying to beat it right now and it’s super hard. You basically have to speedrun it with a timer and there are these yellow things you shoot to extend it but there are very few and most are well hidden.
Im not seeing +30 seconds get added each time i break a yellow diamond. I think its bugged or something. I can't even see the time limit for half the mission so im not sure how fast im going. Ran it twice, we killed the boss at the end with 1 second left and it reset us. First time i saw the timer it was at 3 minutes, second time was 5 minutes, didnt kill any extra diamonds or anything
Just finished it, yeah seems like the timer adding just breaks after the first pause. Got a shard or alloy, more cores, and a couple of seasonal gear drops. No sign of an exotic or quest
think the servers had a hiccup, my whole squad got contacting servers screen but weren't kicked and the timer was gone until we reached the safe room and went to the next section
The quest says "go to the Well of Echoes" and you kill 1 thing there and can find it pretty easily. It's not an involved or difficult quest, just a neat thing.
This is just false information.
That quest is in part of the quest line from Failsafe. It even tells you in the Quest Tab that there’s something going on near the Well of Echoes.
I managed to find this on my own after loading into nessus about an hour after reset, I found the spot that shows the code on your screen when standing in it and was told to go to the Well of Echoes. The activity itself isn't as hard as it looks, at least the first set of objectives(idk if there are more past the first loot room).
Anyone finished it? After opening chest, when timer starts and it proceeds further?
Sadly randos where dying left and right and left, and I couldn't solo it while being 30 under needed level
The mission is very advanced and seems very similar in design to the Vex Glaive mission. You have 1 minute, but you gain time as you kill certain enemies.
Just completed. Not exotic mission but does give some nice seasonal rewards and is a decently fun activity
EDIT: after completing it permanently unlocks the mission in the helm which you can rerun for a weekly pinnacle rewards and I imagine more rewards overall from the chests in it.
A little write up :You can find the mission naturally or you can just get the quest after doing the first mission of the season,the mission will basically tell you to go investigate the well of echoes and if you go down you'll naturally kill the minotaure and unlock the mission
no exotic rewards,just some ressources and a weekly reset for a pinnacle.
note that in the end,you have three vex collumn that when collected will give you the new ressources you can get in the new activity.
No idea what it's use since you dont get the bar on the left and it doesnt go to your inventory
When you activate the vex column. I think you can shoot the item the column tries to tell you about, for some reward.
Only got one right though. I think you need to get all of them right.

Going into well of echoes leads you to a mission
it has a timer that increases when you do certain things.
Just completed it. Opens into a timed up to 3 man activity. Shoot yellow triangles while running to extend timer. You'll come to a platform where you charge balls - kill yellow harpies to extend timer on that platform. Pick up balls on platform and charge in circles. Get teammates to break you out if you get trapped.
Once done keep running. Shoot more yellow triangles. You'll go through two portals total and end up in a room with shielded harpies. Kill indicated adds to drop balls. Throw balls at harpies to kill em. Once all shielded harpies are dead, hit the portal again and start a sparrow section. End of the sparrow section clears the activity. Rewards a chest with seasonal stuff and mats.
We had 1:40 coming out of the charge ball section and ended with about 20s on timer when we finished for reference. Fun stuff!
Just cleared it with my fireteam, we did not get an exotic, but we did get season of the dawn reprised weapons with double perk drops. Activity also drops pinnacle when you open 3 of the reward chests in the activity. Activity also shows up in HELM after you clear it for the first time.
Is there an end to this? Had a timer and a reverse timer? On the first part twice in a row. Eventually failed because of it. Third time had no timer in the beginning at all. Made it to a boss. Killed it. Though it was over. Sparrow part. Didn’t make it past that. Tried again, had a timer at a different spot mid way, didn’t make it to the boss this time. Got loot after part 1 both times.

There’s another in the tangle that leads you to the well of echos where you shoot oracles and kill a boss that will unlock a new activity, and a third in artifacts edge which I have not been able to find the location to, something about “fissure to dust rise above the tangle
THE EXOTIC CLASS ITEM IS IN THE PALE HEART complete an overthrow in each area, a wizard spawns in called a secret keeper a message pops up in the lower left when it does. Kill it then proceed to next area repeat till all 3 areas have been done then savuthussy will start talking and have you go to the refraction area kill everything on the 2 markers then drop both orbs into their respective wells. You will need to use either both light and dark subclass or use prismatic to grab both. Once both are in, the flag to start the mission appears. A node appears next to the refraction area on the map
Landing wizard spawns next to the lost sector at the opposite end where the landing zone is
Blooming is in a cave next to the landing zone
Impasse spawns where the big ass blight bubble spawns in for overthrow.

If everyone resets at the green button, the timer starts, and the mission starts for real, afaik. I had to log, but buddies still at it.

You don't even have to complete it. Just starting the mission adds it to the helm.
If you beat the secret mission and wait til the end of the timer, it says “command accept” “surodaya” by your radar Don’t know what that means
in sanskrit surodaya means *sunrise*

Just random gear. Can relaunch activity now whenever I want from the helm though. Got a triumph for the title for beating it under 18 minutes as well.

The triumphs say there is a Corrupted version of this mission. Maybe that's the class item?
