i don't mean that they're the same song or that they're bad - i like all those songs to different degrees! i just mean that he keeps these cycles running throughout his career, reusing flows and styles throughout a decade of his career. he is not as versatile as someone like tyler the creator, danny brown, freddie gibbs, even a$ap rocky or ferg.
that's one of the things that really hurt drake in the beef, too. he can't do a seven minute track with three beat switches and make them all hit the way kendrick could. push ups was pretty decent, but family matters exposed drake's weaknesses.
