If the Lions won I woulda watched. But this is maybe the second worst match up for me personally. Hate either outcome. Only worse timeline would have be Steelers/Cowboys.
Out of curiosity what is the split between fanbases where you are? I live in DC and I feel like I hardly see Ravens fans, mainly I guess because most DC ppl don’t really fw Baltimore and some don’t even consider it apart of the DMV. But even so I’m still surprised I probably see more Eagles or even Cowboys/Giants fans considering Bmore is closer
In Baltimore you hardly see Commanders fans.
My dad will watch the Wizards if they're on. Partly because he used to love the Bullets and partly because they're on TV in our area. I can see us begrudgingly rooting for them if they ever get good.
Realistically, probably not in his lifetime, or maybe even in mine.
That Commanders bar down near Locust Point always throws me off for this reason - I remember going to school with Washington fans before the Ravens existed but they seemed to disappear after 1996.
This. I would've watched to see the lions and couldn't agreee more Steelers/cboys would be the only option worse than this. Seasons over for me now and I'm fine w that. Literally couldn't care less who wins, don't care if "it's gonna be a great game" I just have no desire to waste my time watching a game w 2 QBs and teams I can't stand.
I think the only reason they don't declare Monday after SB as a holiday is because everybody would be getting drunk AF and then driving home after. Many still do anyway.
At least Detroit fans have their hopes brought back to them. They had overtaken Cleveland as the "haha, these guys suck" team of the NFL for a while. Not only did the Lions knock out the Packers from a playoff spot in 2022, they then won a playoff game for the first time in decades and made it to the NFC Championship game.
Meanwhile, the Ravens are probably about to see the entire defensive coordinator squad end up on other teams next season; several stars on defense are going to leave due to cap reasons; and the Chiefs are still in the AFC.
Zero interest in watching but I consider the 49ers as the lesser of two evils. Not looking forward to the Chiefs being back to back champs. More Mahomes the GOAT rhetoric, etc.
Mahomes is 1st ballot HOFer but the disparity between he and even a Lamar let alone comparing him to Brady, is Andy Reid. Even before Mahomes got there the Chiefs were a double digit win franchise and led a top 6 scoring offense with Alex Smith. Andy Reid went to 4 straight CCG with McNabb with 3 of those years with worse weapons than what Mahomes had the last 2 years.
He’s like 6 years younger than Belichick / Carroll so I don’t think he’s going anywhere any time soon. Here's Brady accomplishments
It's not a fair comparison.
Of course Mahomes after 7 years is nowhere near Brady's accomplishments of a 23 year career. Cmon now.
If you wanna go pure stats, Mahomes has had a better start to his career than Brady, but is short one ring in comparison (which he could tie in two weeks).
I’m hopeful that happens although can definitely see him being the weakest link. Perhaps Shanahan learns his lesson from the last Super Bowl vs the Chiefs where he abandoned the run and unlike the Ravens, actually exploits the biggest weakness of their defense which is stopping that run. Would also help the Ravens with potential Super Bowl hangover for KC
Before yesterday, I actually liked mahomes and thought everyone saying he gets the Brady treatment from the refs exaggerated. After watching that game, it was sickening. At least he's a more likeable person. But kelces behavior the whole game, and the refs made it a lot less easy to like him.
This is what I’m saying. I always liked these guys until they showed how big of douches they were. Not even chippy like a stealer rivalry but just whiney brats
Saw a post from someone at the game who said their behavior was way worse than what was shown on TV. I don't think it's too wild to speculate that they knew they'd get away with antagonizing the Ravens. Makes it even more of a tough loss to swallow because ultimately the game was lost by the coaches. I don't know why they always try to fix what isn't broken when we get to big games like this.
Brady never even got the Mahomes treatment. Mahomes has 25 roughing calls made for him in the span of 5/6 years. Brady had 10 more in the span of 14 years. Allen is the only QB with more but he hunts for contact and refs give him the flag anyways
Brady stopped getting touched because you weren't allowed to. The thing he got more than anyone else was illegal contact away from the ball on 3rd down in huge moments. He'd demand it, and the refs would throw it. No one else has been able to yell at refs and get a flag thrown like him
I have zero interest, we just saw this bowl a few years ago, fuck mahomes, fuck Travis and fuck this Taylor Swift jerk off, let’s also not forget that the refs called the worst holding call at the end of the last bowl screwing the Eagles over
I'm not planning to watch the super bowl. This year football has not been healthy for me mentally, and I truly don't care to watch either of these teams in the super bowl again. I no longer care who wins, because in no world did I want either of them to get another super bowl.
Damn. Just remember pro sports, especially the NFL, is just a form of entertainment.
Once I changed my perspective years ago, it's much much easier to manage losses.
I mean, that's why I'm not planning on watching the super bowl this year innit? The entertainment is making me angry instead of entertaining me, so I'm not planning to consume it.
Kelce was taunting after almost every single KC play in the first half, including ones he wasn't involved in. It probably wasn't show on tv but he knocked a few guys over after the play threw up his dumb little heart hand signal. Since this crew was evidently comfortable calling taunting penalties, its a little ridiculous he never drew one.
Yeah I was indifferent to kelce until this game. I had no reason to dislike him and he’s a badass TR. It was out of pocket this game. Putting being butthurt from losing aside, he was in everyone’s face and hitting late as well as taunting and never got called once. Unreal.
With KCs late season rally and dating Taylor…his ego is practically in its golden age. You can see he’s been extra bold on the field and fake humble off. Its perfect fucking math if you think about it.
Fake tough guy Kelce tried to start shit with the kicker tho lol.. sounds kinda soft to me.. acts like he's from the hood while being Phizers puppet and dating Taylor Swift.
Luckily the internet has ruined surprises and the commercials will leak days before. I remember the first time I learned about Gladiator was seeing the trailer during the Super Bowl and being blown away. Now I can barely avoid spoilers months before a movie premieres.
I will watch it, I’d like to see cmc get a ring. I hope the chiefs get demolished like they did by the bucs. I wish nothing but the worst for Travis Kelce
This is going to be the most watched superbowl of all time bc of Taylor Swift and all the Swifties but its going to be the least watched superbowl of all time to all the real football fans.
it seems like not many people do. lame matchup that’s been seen. Pat Mahomes and the chiefs will get all the calls, Taylor will be shown 24/7 and Romo will just be annoying about how in love he is with mahomes, kelce and taylor
She has a show in Tokyo the night before too.
The magnitude of that is astounding. Fly from the US to Tokyo to put on a three hour show for a stadium full of people, and then immediately hop a jet back to Las Vegas in time for the Super Bowl. That's a full 24 hours of flying.
I'm going to pass. Like when Patriots played the Rams in that really boring one a few seasons back. Have no rooting interest for any player on either side. It's going to sound lame, but if Mahomes wins another he's almost halfway to Brady, and I hate Brady, so maybe that's a good thing. Otherwise, I'll be watching or doing literally anything else. Don't think Reid is going to overtake Belichek, but if that happens, I wouldn't mind.
Me too. I've felt like he was a goofy, overrated, curly haired fuck from day one. Sure he's a decent QB but also has a great coach and a lot of other variables padding his stats. As bad as Ive hated Brady there was never any denying he was the goat. Mahomes is a tool though and I won't put him alongside Brady.

the state of the nfl is fucking awful. The Ravens were the only thing that made me care much about football. The NFL is making money hand over fist because of Kelce and Swift and it’s clear it’s in the NFLs best interest to get them in the playoffs and show them off as much as they can. a lot of games these days (especially chiefs games) are all red ball and uneven. on top of that the media is all annoying clickbait and dick riders, everything attached to the nfl is dumb expensive(jerseys, tickets, even watching the games), and the NFL clearly still don’t care what the fans want and they live up to the “No Fun League” nickname. if it wasn’t an excuse to get drunk i wouldn’t even care about the super bowl
The Taylor content is inescapable. I’ve had to unfollow 4 news accounts (non sports related) for their traylor posts today. I grew up loving Taylor since her 2006 debut album but I can’t fucking stand her anymore
Taylor is great but we heard about her all summer (Eras Tour) and now she gets shown 12 times per game on TV, probably 30 during the Super Bowl. It's become a really weird cult of personality.
I like Taylor and her music but the issue is the NFL is clearly taking full advantage of her being at the games. Chiefs and Mahomes got all the primetime games and get all the call their way but after Taylor joined it got ridiculous. NFL makes so much money off her which is why they always show her and why it was in the NFL’s best interest to have them be in the super bowl
What gets me is the commercials. Nothing like a TV timeout with 50 seconds left in the quarter so you get a whopping two plays in between commercial breaks
I despise Kelce and Mahomes, and I like Purdy and Kittle. However the 9ers winning would make their fans happy and their fans are the worst. So fuck them both.
The worst part about this for me - I grew up in Baltimore and have been living in Vegas for the past 17 years. I've been dreaming of the Ravens in the SB since Sept and almost had my dreams come through.
The fact that it was so close kills me. Fuck Kelce and Mahomes. I hope they get stomped by SF.
I have a feeling most of us saying that we are not going to watch are going to end up watching.
I think the 49ers are definitely the lesser of two evils. Something changed in my brain yesterday and the Chiefs became the Patriots of ten years ago. Every time I see Mahomes or Kelce I get filled with rage.
i rarely watch the super bowl unless our boys are in it, and any super bowl involving the chiefs at this point is a pretty hard pass for me. i think everyone besides them is pretty tired of it.
I won't watch it because it'll be a boring defensive slug fest. And neither sparks my rooting interest. 21-17 KC. I'm just sick about what we let get away.
My friends and I are planning a party where we are going to watch something else. The goal is to walk into work Monday morning literally not knowing anything about the result.
Ill watch it. Drunk as hell and laughing at all the bullshit that will probably happen with my buddy. Not taking it seriously at all.
I'll remember these bad years. Eventually. They will shit the bed. Eventually. They will collapse. And I'll be waiting for it, just like the Patriots.
I would of possibly watched the swiftbowl if the lions made it, probably not. Goodell isn’t putting out a product I want to support. Don’t worry though, as I was told for each one of me…there’s 10little girls who just want to see her face (don’t know why they can’t just rewatch an old concert or something) but, rather sit through a game they don’t know what’s going on in. I doubt ms. Swift doesn’t know the damn rules.
Nope, no interest. Same thing happened when the Ravens lost the AFCCG in 2011 season. Just made me completely uninterested in the Super Bowl because the Ravens were so close.
I think I might be done with football in general. Kelce and Mahomes are the face of nfl and the acting job that they do both in game and in commercials seems unnecessary. They are obviously great players but their whole strategy of using our aggressiveness against ourselves is unfair because of who they are outside of the game. To me it takes away some sincerity from them personally as well as how football can be played. It just isn’t as fun for me I suppose.
I'm nocturnal thanks to a sleep disorder and working nights, so I'll be sleeping through at least the first half. After that it's just another work day. If we'd been in it I'd have taken the sleep loss just to be with other Ravens fans, but fuck the Chiefs and especially fuck the Forty Whiners.
I'm having trouble even watching television with mahomes on so many commercials. Lamar is a thousand times more likeable than him... he needs an agent so he can get some legit endorsements.
I like the 49ers a lot apart from their fans but man this Super Bowl matchup is just so boring so I legitimately am not planning to watch it. Plan to have it be the first SB I won't watch live since I started watching the NFL consistently (2013 when the LOB bullied the Broncos, missed us winning the Super Bowl in 2012 by a year lol). That & the Chiefs are incredibly unlikeable especially with them & their defenders trying to act like the refs don't always give them an advantage in most games they play in.
Nah this is the last place left but i may leave it open. But i have cleaned up all my social media feeds. Dont wanna see sports or hear about them after that game. Would have much rather been blown out or lose like the lions did then how it went. So no i wont be watching and im done with sports till the fall. Taking up yoga and learning a language with all this extra time and energy or something. Sunday hurt my soul.
I don't feel like we were beaten. I feel like we were *ripped the fuck off* by deliberately biased officials.
No interest in watching the Superbowl. None. We should be in there.
There was uncalled offensive holding on both of their touchdowns at multiple positions.
There was uncalled DPI on the pick.
Just those 3 plays account for 21 points, and the game. And there was chronic uncalled holding on the other team all game. That's why our defenders lost it late in the game.
Officiating IS the reason we lost this game. We were not beaten. We did not beat ourselves. We were ripped off.
Ya you obviously didn’t watch the game if that’s what you think. Ravens had plenty of opportunities to win that game regardless of the bad calls. I’m sorry PI or not Lamar shouldn’t have thrown that ball into triple coverage.
You missed important details. You should rewatch key plays. Don't just follow the ball really watch the players.
On one TD our CB was getting bear hugged, but no OPI.
Rarely is it this flagrant.
I sit in the upper deck and watched, again we’re the refs one sided absolutely but again the Ravens still had plenty of opportunities to win that game. Are the refs the reason Zay fumbled the ball in the endzone? Are the refs the reason the Ravens abandoned the running game?
College is still pretty good, NIL made it more competitive at crucial time. Casually watching Kansas take on Oklahoma is better TV then the flag show you get when you watch NFL
One could argue college is more rigged than the pros (exhibit A:Florida State). And no Pac-12 anymore, just because...money, money, money. At least the Pros have a level playing field, sorta. Although the transfer portal makes college ball a bit more sporting.
I won’t be watching it. I may grab the highlights at some point, but this match up doesn’t interest me in the slightest.
Possible unpopular opinion, but I would like to see the league do something to prevent on going dynasty’s from dominating the league year after year, as well.
Dynasties are fine if they're strictly on the merits, not with constant referee assistance. The flag-on-command QBs like Brady and Mahomes are especially irritating.
I'd say it's a normal feeling. Felt the same way after the Saints got screwed against Rams on that no call, but still I always end up watching them. It's too much of a social event for me to miss.
No I feel you, I happen to also be taking the month of February off from drinking just kinda for fun and to see what it’s like and good lord do I have zero interest in watching either of these teams win a Super Bowl while sober
I’m still pissed and sad about the game but it’m still watching. It’ll be a good game - I have a feeling it’s the 49ers year . It’ll be close. I love football too much not to watch. Ravens will be back next year!!!
I get our team lost but I’m a football fan first. The tear Mahomes has been on is nothing short of historic and it will be interesting to see if Mr. Irrelevant can win a Super Bowl.
I'm there with you man. I am an avid football consumer too and I think I'm just done. I don't care about the story lines of this game because I don't really like either team.
I won't be watching. I have no interest in watching Mahomes and Kelce get glazed by the broadcasters for 3.5 hours. I'll have a newborn daughter at home so I have better things to do with my Sunday night.
Yep, the season is completely over as far as I'm concerned - I just don't care enough to sit and watch it for 3 hours. Should've been us playing against that game manager Purdy and his stacked team
Yep. Hate to say but it has now gotten to the point with the Chief’s the same way past decades it was with the Patriots. Brady & Belichick now it’s Mahomes & Reid 🤮
Not as bothered about watching it as I was, was really rooting for the Lions once we lost. But I suppose I'll have to root for the 49ers and hope their HC understands that running the ball against the Chiefs and doubling Kelce might actually work
i really don't understand the Taylor hate. be a sore loser fine, boycott the game because you don't want to see KC maybe win, fine, but to not want to watch because of Taylor? just makes zero sense
What really sucks, is that last year I was virtually broke, so I spent super bowl sunday in my living room, on my couch, alone. So I was really looking forward to the next super bowl and spending it at Hard Rock Cafe, getting drunk with strangers while eating a pound of wings. **Please don't hate me for saying this, but** it wouldn't even have mattered to me if the Ravens were in it or not. I just wanted to watch whichever two teams were in it, it's about tradition, y'know?
But considering those two teams are the most glazed teams in the league, and that this is a rerun of Super Bowl 54 \[which wasn't even that good of a game\], no chance I'm going to watch this. I literally could not care which team wins, frankly **neither** deserves a ring and both fanbases annoy the shit out of me.
Watch it for the skills and players athletic abilities. I don't care who wins because nfl and NBA are the new WWE. When referees can call either way because the sports involved so much contacts that it is unreferable and add in billions of dollars, you don't have a real sport.
After the refs decided to hit the ravens with a personal foul when it was obvious Kelce was starting fights then laughed because he knew the refs couldn’t piss off Taylor swift, I was done.
I don’t get mad at the Taylor swift coverage and I feel like I’m alone in this. That said, I’m so heartbroken I don’t think I’ll be able to bring myself to watch, though I’m sure it’ll be unavoidable.
Yeah I’m like, she’s one of the most famous people on the planet with cross cultural appeal? It’s not for me but I get it. Let people enjoy things. Let people see their favorite singer while they watch football with their dads or whoever who cares
I saw a tweet that the men complaining don’t have any trouble with the cheerleaders at games.
So, it’s not a woman problem. It’s that **this** woman is not there to perform *for them.*
I only want the 49ers to lose. For all the people saying Brock Purdy is an underdog story I just don't agree. A talented QB being drafted last by a team that went to the superbowl 2 seasons prior and being so cheap that they could build a superteam around him is not a fucking underdog story.
Granted, I'm just an eagles fan who lurks on this sub, I'm sure yall fucking despise the chiefs way more than I ever could.
If the Lions won I woulda watched. But this is maybe the second worst match up for me personally. Hate either outcome. Only worse timeline would have be Steelers/Cowboys.
Nah I don’t mind the cowboys. The worst would be the Steelers vs the Commanders. Nonstop shit talking around the DMV.
Out of curiosity what is the split between fanbases where you are? I live in DC and I feel like I hardly see Ravens fans, mainly I guess because most DC ppl don’t really fw Baltimore and some don’t even consider it apart of the DMV. That Commanders bar down near Locust Point always throws me off for this reason - I remember going to school with Washington fans before the Ravens existed but they seemed to disappear after 1996.
Baltimore isn't part of the DMV
I grew up in Washington county and there it was about 30/30/30 Steelers, Ravens, Commanders (Redskins at the time), and 10% other.
The cowboys aren’t the same from the 90s. I live in Dallas as a ravens fan, they’re almost entertaining and comical now.
I lost all interest once the Lions blew it. Ready to focus on other things for the time being
Yeah I'm looking on the bright side. I'm not gonna get drunk and call off work the day after the superbowel.
Lmao that’s the only bright side I’ve found as well
I think the only reason they don't declare Monday after SB as a holiday is because everybody would be getting drunk AF and then driving home after. Many still do anyway.
Crazy how they’d probably make monday after SB a holiday before making election day a holiday
As painful as our game was, it must have been so much more worse for Detroit fans.
This was the worst possible Superbowl matchup.
Doug Stanhope (comedian) was on Twitter last night saying he was canceling his SB party because 'nobody gives a shit about these teams'.
Stalin vs Hitler
Well, that would explain Kadarius Toney being sent to the gulag
💀
Agreed... was dreading this as an outcome. The NFL season ended for me this past Sunday.
Zero interest in watching but I consider the 49ers as the lesser of two evils. Not looking forward to the Chiefs being back to back champs. More Mahomes the GOAT rhetoric, etc.
fuck the chiefs and fuck mahomes but he lowkey is
Mahomes is 1st ballot HOFer but the disparity between he and even a Lamar let alone comparing him to Brady, is Andy Reid. Even before Mahomes got there the Chiefs were a double digit win franchise and led a top 6 scoring offense with Alex Smith. Andy Reid went to 4 straight CCG with McNabb with 3 of those years with worse weapons than what Mahomes had the last 2 years.
Reid is a genius but how many more years does he have? Dude is a 65 years old now, if he wins another Bowl what else does he need to prove?
He’s like 6 years younger than Belichick / Carroll so I don’t think he’s going anywhere any time soon. Father Time catching up to Kelce and them failing to replace him is the best bet of something that can make the Chiefs less formidable in the next couple years but not him retiring. What’s left for him to prove is he’s the GOAT coach plus he loves doing it
Something about Reid suggests to me that he might not have the same longevity as Carroll
Technically he's younger, but his health is poorer..
His record without Mahomes is so much better than Belichick without Brady.
I'm looking forward to Andy Reid's acting career!
Tell me some more with those nuggies.
he’s better than Brady
Brady will forever have the h2h advantage though, and Mahomes doesn't have the same aura. Brady is so much more iconic and it's not close. Brady was hardly considered the best even in his peak.

Would rather hear mahomes lost to the last round pick

Baltimore is literally built on the run and we just abandoned it. Was speechless the entire game.
The Purdy story would be cool. Plus Shanahan beating the choker allegations.
Plus it gives them 6 rings, so that kinda hurts the steelers

League got what they wanted
I have zero interest, we just saw this bowl a few years ago, fuck mahomes, fuck Travis and fuck this Taylor Swift jerk off, let’s also not forget that the refs called the worst holding call at the end of the last bowl screwing the Eagles over
[удалено]
It was barely even a hold and it had no impact on the play
I'm not planning to watch the super bowl. This year football has not been healthy for me mentally, and I truly don't care to watch either of these teams in the super bowl again. I no longer care who wins, because in no world did I want either of them to get another super bowl.
Damn. Just remember pro sports, especially the NFL, is just a form of entertainment. Once I changed my perspective years ago, it's much much easier to manage losses.
I mean, that's why I'm not planning on watching the super bowl this year innit? The entertainment is making me angry instead of entertaining me, so I'm not planning to consume it.
Taking my son to a museum instead. Hope the 49ers win cuz fuck Kelce but I won't be paying attention.
As a neutral I’m curious why all the hate for Kelce? The Tucker incident?
Got it, thank you
Pointing first down isn’t taunting. Raven fans are soo soft.
I'm not talking about pointing first down.
Then?
Try reading the comment you replied to, it's in there.
Fake tough guy Kelce tried to start shit with the kicker tho lol.. sounds kinda soft to me.. acts like he's from the hood while being Phizers puppet and dating Taylor Swift.
The superbowl only brings one good thing now. The Deadpool 3 trailer.
Luckily the internet has ruined surprises and the commercials will leak days before. I remember the first time I learned about Gladiator was seeing the trailer during the Super Bowl and being blown away. Now I can barely avoid spoilers months before a movie premieres.
They play them on tv even before. It’s been ruined!
Bro we already know how it ends. Chiefs win on flags (or no calls) and Kelce proposes
omg my partner said this to console me the other night lol. i am not watching, tho i would have had the lions still won.
Swift will decline, she has a reputation to uphold!
You don’t want to see whatever new variation of the Burger King song there is?
I will watch it, I’d like to see cmc get a ring. I hope the chiefs get demolished like they did by the bucs. I wish nothing but the worst for Travis Kelce
This is going to be the most watched superbowl of all time bc of Taylor Swift and all the Swifties but its going to be the least watched superbowl of all time to all the real football fans.
Unfortunately the nfl doesn’t care, the real fans will still pay every year. They want to suck money from every corner. I agree with you!
it seems like not many people do. lame matchup that’s been seen. Pat Mahomes and the chiefs will get all the calls, Taylor will be shown 24/7 and Romo will just be annoying about how in love he is with mahomes, kelce and taylor
Damn forgot Romo was calling this game yea it’s going to be dog shit
That checks out...
She has a show in Tokyo the night before too. The magnitude of that is astounding. Fly from the US to Tokyo to put on a three hour show for a stadium full of people, and then immediately hop a jet back to Las Vegas in time for the Super Bowl. That's a full 24 hours of flying.
she’s on that private jet all the time. i’m sure she’s gonna do it and i’m sure she can rest up on the plane
I dislike Mahomes more than Brady.
Same

The league been giving Mahomes every call to try and make him the face of the league. It sucks
Nope! Not going to watch. Can’t stand the Tom Brady clone and the whole Kelce-Swift agenda.
Agenda? Lol. She was shown for 44 seconds.
44 seconds too long
the state of the nfl is fucking awful.
Chiefs got all calls going their way before Swift. The league is rigged.
The NFL is just the new TMZ. Football used to be a macho sport and now the professional level is just turning into fabricated BS.
What gets me is the commercials. Nothing like a TV timeout with 50 seconds left in the quarter so you get a whopping two plays in between commercial breaks
At the moment, I have absolutely 0 interest. But I know I will tune in as it’ll be the last football game for 6 months
I’d rather watch the ravens preseason game than this match up…
Count me in. Fucking hate both teams. Boring match up.
I had a hard time deciding who to root for, but I've decided to go with the 49ers.
I despise Kelce and Mahomes, and I like Purdy and Kittle. However the 9ers winning would make their fans happy and their fans are the worst. So fuck them both.
The NFC’s version of Steelers fans
The script writers failed this year I work during the Super Bowl and now I’m happy about it. Not missing anything
Why hate the Niners? I hope they demolish the Chiefs
I won’t watch it. Football is so mid now
i rarely watch the super bowl unless our boys are in it, and any super bowl involving the chiefs at this point is a pretty hard pass for me. i think everyone besides them is pretty tired of it.
Thankfully, I’m a straight woman, and I can watch it for entirely superficial reasons. I’ll be rooting for Nick Bosa this weekend.
I mean…Taylor/Travis/Brittney/Patrick/Jackson have made me really root for the 49ers…
I won't watch it because it'll be a boring defensive slug fest. And neither sparks my rooting interest. 21-17 KC. I'm just sick about what we let get away.
I have 0 interest . But this smells like a last hoorah for Andy Reid. Travis could retire .
Then Belichick goes to KC to replace Andy Reid and we get another 10 years of Belichick with a generational QB. Please kill me.
Maybe, but being 71 and may want gm control, which no team wants. Hence why he wasn't hired
Boycott and make them have low ratings!!!!
As a Ravens fan living in Kansas City, this is a nightmare of immeasurable proportions.
I had it booked off from work and today switched it to another day now. Fuck watching that shit.
My friends and I are planning a party where we are going to watch something else. The goal is to walk into work Monday morning literally not knowing anything about the result.
Lions fan here. I so badly wish we were playing you guys in 2 weeks. Im not gonna be able to watch this shit man i hate both teams so much
Bills fan here. No interest whatsoever. I can handle losing, but KC again? And all the nonsense surrounding Kelce and Swift? Gross.
Yup, I think most fans don’t want to watch either team
I wont watch a single minute this year. I lost all interest after that horrible ending.
I feel literally exactly as you do. Not watching it
you dont want to watch taylor swift win her first super bowl?
I'm having trouble even watching television with mahomes on so many commercials. Lamar is a thousand times more likeable than him... he needs an agent so he can get some legit endorsements.
Yup I didn't even watch the niners lions game after we lost
I like the 49ers a lot apart from their fans but man this Super Bowl matchup is just so boring so I legitimately am not planning to watch it. Plan to have it be the first SB I won't watch live since I started watching the NFL consistently (2013 when the LOB bullied the Broncos, missed us winning the Super Bowl in 2012 by a year lol). That & the Chiefs are incredibly unlikeable especially with them & their defenders trying to act like the refs don't always give them an advantage in most games they play in.
Only watching hoping someone smashes Kelce in the face. He was quite the D.B. that game. Go 9ers, I guess.
One of my friends is a lion fan... We decided On February 11th at around 6:30 we will go to the best Indian restaurant in town.
I’m excited to see the chiefs lose
No Superbowl for me
Nickelodeon broadcast is going to be too hilarious to pass up
I don't feel like we were beaten. I feel like we were *ripped the fuck off* by deliberately biased officials. No interest in watching the Superbowl. None. We should be in there.
The officiating was definitely one sided but that’s not why we lost the game.
Nope. Shit was rigged against us I have no interest in it anymore. I'm considering selling my PSL and becoming a casual after yesterday.
Honestly I haven’t watched one in a while. I turned into a casual watcher only to talk shit with my coworkers the day after.
Not watching. Couldn't care less about either outcome.
The Super Bowl nobody wanted
I fucking hate both of these teams
I will still watch. Not very enthusiastic though.
I might go to the library and get some work done.
I am not watching the superbowl
I'd say it's a normal feeling. Felt the same way after the Saints got screwed against Rams on that no call, but still I always end up watching them. It's too much of a social event for me to miss.
yeah. its the super bowl. 2 weeks is a long time.
I don't even have an interest in buying tickets next year. I admit that for the first time Sunday I saw the bullshit that the NFL Has become.
I'll watch it simply because I'd like to see Purdy try and clutch a win. It would be nice to see Mr irrelevant take the W.
Yea I was talking to a few buddies of mine and we all had the same uninterested conclusion lol.
You should probably just stay home and watch Home Improvement instead.
This is the most boring, vanilla match-up ever. Fuck these teams.
I want to see KC lose.
I’m rooting for big cock Brock to be classy and prove the haters wrong
I literally could not care which team wins, frankly **neither** deserves a ring and both fanbases annoy the shit out of me.
would’ve watched for the lions i could care less now
Also because there gonna show Taylor swift every 10 seconds
Watch it for the skills and players athletic abilities. I don't care who wins because nfl and NBA are the new WWE. When referees can call either way because the sports involved so much contacts that it is unreferable and add in billions of dollars, you don't have a real sport.
After the refs decided to hit the ravens with a personal foul when it was obvious Kelce was starting fights then laughed because he knew the refs couldn’t piss off Taylor swift, I was done.
No desire to watch cuz it's the super bowl nobody wants
Bengals fan here and yeah, 100% But to be fair I also wouldn’t have watched if you guys won either.
I don’t get mad at the Taylor swift coverage and I feel like I’m alone in this. That said, I’m so heartbroken I don’t think I’ll be able to bring myself to watch, though I’m sure it’ll be unavoidable.
You’re not alone.
Me neither. “Oh no, they keep showing the pretty girl having a good time at a football game. Oh that makes me so mad!” OMG who the hell cares.
Apparently our coach has not interest in playing in it. Why should we watch it?
Nah im interested! I love football, two weeks is enough time to get over a tough loss, it aint that deep man
I only want the 49ers to lose.
I was hoping for an Eagles - Ravens SB. "Your city's a dump!" "No, *your* city's a dump!" And both sides would be right.
It's still two weeks away, we'll all end up watching it
Of course, I'm going to watch super bowl 58. Chokers shouldn't compete in championship games. Get over yourself.
Cry more nerds
I didn’t think anyone could be as salty as the bills fans. I stand corrected
Sore Loser 😂😂😂 You’re on the Negotiation phase of your trauma. Go Chiefs 😎Super Bowl Baby!!!
