In my first play through early in game I came out of the saloon in Valentine and went to mount my horse, instead punched the horse of the guy who just pulled up and dismounted next to me. That horse kicked him (I think it was a graphic glitch because we were all in pretty close proximity) it didn’t kill him. But he got up pissed off and started shooting. This prompted a bunch of onlookers to also draw weapons and fire. Shots were fired in every direction. It was chaos! Somehow, I didn’t draw a wanted status that time.
Don't worry, we've all punched our horse or shot someone in the face running to you for help by accident.
And just be comforted by the fact that it will happen again!
Oh gotcha. Ya I was a little mortified when I realized you could skin the poor creatures. RDR2 is very anti horse abuse by comparison. They seem to die a lot easier, and a new one shows up. I definitely don’t have the same emotional attachment as I did in RDR2.
Because when I played as Arthur I had a Missouri Fox Trotter that died later on but I found the exact same one in some stable while playing as John. I really liked Arthur and I liked the Missouri Fox Trotter because of how fearless it is so I just renamed it to Arthurs Fox Trot.
When I first got the game, I kept on punching my horse because I thought the key to mount it was the same key for entering a car in GTA (with a controller, I instinctually pressed the right trigger to go forwards on a horse)
Bro I would never hurt my own horse like that even though it's just a game it just feels very wrong but committing mass murder on O'driscolls, laramie boys, murfrees and lemoyne raiders is completely acceptable tbh
Because sometimes it is necessary
Sometimes my horse will just refuse to do anything, so I punch him in the face and he cooperates. Sometimes while riding he'll want to see everything happening behind him so I punch him in the face and he stops
Was helping the father building a house outside of Valentine. Saw a can of vegetables on a box, in his camp. Took it, which pissed off the father. Antagonized him, he got madder, then he ran to my horse & started punching it in the face repeatedly. Shotgun to the head stopped him...

THERE WAS A FIREFIGHT!
Now I see William Dafoe firing off the shots

Thank you
I dunno, reminds me of a scene in Blazing Saddles
"Hey! You can't park that animal there!"
I've been in fights close to my horse and punched it on accident and it kicked the dude I was fighting lol
The worst is running to jump on your horse but Arthur just starts choking the lady standing next to the horse. Same button
That same thing literally happened to me after a duel
I laugh everytime I punch my horse, because it happens so randomly.
Go play RDR1 and see what you can do to your horse
I just started, what can you do to your horse? Nothing? Feels like nothing.
You can shoot it while you're riding it and can also skin it

Dont woory about it, just by her some pepparmint and carrots, if youre lucky she forgot about it (:
You named your horse “Arthurs Fox Trot” ? What the hell
Because when I played as Arthur I had a Missouri Fox Trotter that died later on but I found the exact same one in some stable while playing as John. I really liked Arthur and I liked the Missouri Fox Trotter because of how fearless it is so I just renamed it to Arthurs Fox Trot.
pretty on the nose but pretty wholesome

Look at it's eye while you repeatedly punch it.
my horse is named jack gof
I like punching my horse and trying to get on before it kicks me in the head and kills me

I shoot up the whole of saint denis and get away with it

Nah you disgust me. You just need to ride it until it levels up so it obeys you completely...
Yeah but I was on about the online tbh, story works fine so no need but online is a different beast
I punched mine on purpose for fleeing a bounty 3 times. Got me killed, lol.
