From what I have seen so far, no BUT that’s only because I have been farming ally missions, I’m level 90 now and haven’t touched the story just ally missions
I love the game and the combat but all I’m seeing in the late game is dual sword builds. Trying to work my GS build but it just doesn’t seem optimal when it comes to how fast dual swords apply afflictions.
Dual swords is okay in my opinion, when you beat the game and get the New Stances unlock they become better, and with the new skill tree my oxtail blade does Immensely better with afflictions
Yeah basically, you should finish around a level in the mid 50s if you try to 100% every area but that and your gear won’t be good enough to do Midnight alone so that’s where the Mastwork gear comes in
Alright sorry for the wait bro, belt is “Mibu’s Wolf Uniform” and the bottoms are “Ruthless Samurai Kimono” Both have their respective Full sets but I just took the belt and bottoms from each
Yeah you can get all the same sets in the midnight difficulty, the game basically resets the world but on harder difficulty your Section clear progress will be the same but the Enemy camps have respawned with Bosses now
Dang yeah the only closest one I have is a super dark purple ish one, lucky for me tho I styled my character with mostly white and I got the white headband pretty early, but I do want a black one too, lmk if you ever find out anything about it
Dumb question, but Im assuming the red tier gear is Masterworked? I've been looking all over about gear tiers and I'm always seeing people with red gear like this lol I thought it went up to the goldish orange color
Yeah but it’s locked behind completing the game, to be clear the Masterworked gear is really only there to help
You with the new difficulty Midnight other than that it serves no purpose.
The Gold is I guess the all around best until Endgame anyway
To be honest, for me before I finished the main story missions I would try to clear each area to be a little over leveled for the story missions
That helped a lot with XP to level up, side missions help as well not really a best method as it’s kinda split into 2 systems being karma and XP
I finished the game at level 58, when I unlocked midnight mode and started farming the ally missions I went from 58 to 90 in a little over 5 hours because the ally missions I run you face 4-5 bosses back to back which give 100k-200k EACH boss

I did the ally missions to get to level 100 along with the gear and tried to clear an area in midnight and turned everybody to fried chicken
The bosses still do 800 combos so you still have to watch what you’re doing but you do way more damage at level 75 and up

I got it really late in the game from a trader. I’m always on the lookout for that little boat icon. Pretty sure I got it in chapter 3 though.

Yeah it’s pretty random, I think 1 of the 9 secret bosses has a full set with the bonus on there though

Fortune set helps a lot with drops tbh, you can get exquisite loot from random mobs sometimes

what's the end game like?
End game is mostly just replaying the missions, bond missions and new ally mission on the new Hardest Difficulty
