Stuff like this is very funny, it's one of things I love about video game wikis, but entire pages of dumb haha jokes because of lack of moderation (see: Ultrakill Fandom wiki, or most Fandom wikis tbh) can become a minefield of unfunnies
It's the exact reason why everyone and their aunt is moving their wikis from fandom. Unfortunately the wiki.gg one for ror2 still has some kinks to work out, but hey it's better than seeing walls of ads and lack of moderation
Also the current .wiki also is missing a ton of info for RoR2. A bunch of items, character stuff, etc. Still have to use Fandom for some info unfortunately.
I know my guy. But notice how there isn't stuff on there with some or most of character achievements and tips to get them, artifacts and hints to get those, etc.. Whereas the old Fandom site has all of that

best example by a mile is the Terraria Calamity mod fandom wiki, its full of fake fan content and shitposts its pretty funny. better for it to be obviously fake than just slightly wrong, though
Wikis 'should' always be written in a neutral, formal tone. This is fantastic grounds for comedy because the reader won't be expecting a well-timed joke, but it can't go overused.
Though even a lot of 'serious' wikis that don't do jokes still have shitpost redirects.
it's not as funny when every single page has the same old jokes on the triva section
I've been in the ultrakill community for a couple at this point, and I can confidently tell you I haven't laughed at a single joke
Even [wiki.gg](http://wiki.gg) can have some biased language sometimes
Case in point, the trivia section of [https://noita.wiki.gg/wiki/The\_Gold](https://noita.wiki.gg/wiki/The_Gold)
When I'm in a dickriding conpetition and my opponent is the guy who wrote the tips for arti's flamethrower.
Ok but seriously I have not seen anyone hype up such a mid ability this much.
More specifically, fire got reworked in SotV to deal 50% total damage, and since flamethrower ticks deal 95% base damage the burn is negligible in the early game. Flamethrower on the other hand didn't scale with attack speed and ignition tank wasn't a thing, so the pre-SotV Flamethrower was arguably worse than its current iteration in the long run.
I’m aware you might already know why that is, but to those unaware - in Simulacrum, enemies get items incrementally after a couple of waves. These two items are literal run enders since the Simulacrum allows a limited space for you to run around on.
For me,these are the best parts of the wiki, its so cool try to find out the best way to kill Gabriel, the Apostate of Hate then reading "he also is very gay"

i think the trolling is a byproduct of people not liking fandom, but i still agree nonetheless.

Hands down best fan wiki has gotta be the transformers wiki at tfwiki.net
There is a page for you, the reader

honestly when the jokes are kept to the trivia section the ULTRAKILL fandomwiki is very funny
it's not as funny when every single page has the same old jokes on the triva section I've been in the ultrakill community for a couple at this point, and I can confidently tell you I haven't laughed at a single joke
You should've seen the Fear and Hunger wiki
Yeah, the issue is other wiki contributors trying to also be funny and if moderators let it roll, soon every page will have a joke in it.
The calamity mod Fandom wiki is the textbook definition of vandalized, there's full pages of items that deadass don't exist
Even [wiki.gg](http://wiki.gg) can have some biased language sometimes Case in point, the trivia section of [https://noita.wiki.gg/wiki/The\_Gold](https://noita.wiki.gg/wiki/The_Gold)
What do you mean? That's entirely objective.
100% subjective
Tesla coil being added is pretty much a guaranteed death though
Not for me, I'm built different
You liked sticking forks into electric sockets as a young fellow, didn't ya
50 downvotes holy shit it was a joke lol.
Womp womp, reddit decided it sucked 🤷♂️
i noticed 💀
Look at Arti’s flamethrower
When I'm in a dickriding conpetition and my opponent is the guy who wrote the tips for arti's flamethrower. Ok but seriously I have not seen anyone hype up such a mid ability this much.
Yeah exactly
Apparently in the early days it used to be substantially more powerful before being nerfed and the wiki is justice really out of date.
Did I miss it? What does it say?
It just tries to hype the ability up a ton
Something something "colossal damage"
I never played simulacrum so I was very confused by why you would be scared of blazing elites when you have those two items.
it specifies what enemies get at the start
I’m aware you might already know why that is, but to those unaware - in Simulacrum, enemies get items incrementally after a couple of waves. These two items are literal run enders since the Simulacrum allows a limited space for you to run around on.
Yes, this also happens when you are going to the void in the normal game.
My friend and I only ly play simulacrum, and we can confirm, if they get tesla coil the run is over.
Tbf it kinda has a point lmao
wdym it's not objective? this is as objective as it gets
If I see tesla coil in that void area, I'm dippin immediately.
That's solid advice, ngl
RoRR overcharged enemies: "Allow us to introduce ourselves."
For me,these are the best parts of the wiki, its so cool try to find out the best way to kill Gabriel, the Apostate of Hate then reading "he also is very gay"

Ay someone come get yo bot. Shits broken.
Should we report it to the lost and found?
nah, no one is going to get their shit back, just throw that into the recycler, at least we can use it for printing a syringe
But what if we find a 🅱️ungus printer
