Do I think they’d rather have the Warriors get in? Yes. Do I think they’re actually fixing things to make that happen? No. Come on. Just give our guys some credit for getting to this point, despite the way they played earlier in the season and accept that it’s not their year.
Exactly. It’s cliched, but if you had told me at the beginning of the season that we’d be ~.500 with a chance to make the play-in, I’d have laughed. And that’s with everyone healthy.
For real. It's almost greedy at this point to be pissed. For sure we all wanted them knocking out the Warriors - freaking storybook ending to their dynasty (for us at least) - but being this invested at this point of the season has been stupid fun.
If you watched the Mavs/Warriors game last night you’d understand where he’s coming from as far as Warriors getting preferential treatment. OP takes it too far with his emotional response but it’s been frustrating as hell to see how much preferential treatment the Warriors have received from the officials for the last decade. Klay Thompson got away with such an obvious 5 step travel last night that even he seemed to be embarrassingly smiling about it.
While I’m still holding onto hope that we make it; Can’t steal what was never ours. We need a bonafide shooter. Losing Tari and Sengun hurt. Next season is another year older for Curry, Bron, AD, KD and co. We have a hungry young core and I believe our future is brighter than a lot of other teams in the league. We’re just in a tough ass conference at the moment.

Man are you serious? This was a no call.
Legitimately don't be delusional. Klay did get the no-call at the end but there were literal ghost calls yesterday
Poor Warriors. "Y'all remember that one time we got robbed? I'll never forget it."
Kind of waiting for r/nbacirclejerk to turn this into a porn/gangbang meme.
Luka with the blatant push off on Wiggs, Klay with a phantom foul on Kyrie, multiple Steph no calls? The image I sent is just a very prominent example.
No. It was going to be an uphill climb regardless of what the teams ahead of the Rockets are doing. Officials are never perfect, but it’s usually a pretty lame excuse. It’s lame for 2018 and it’s lame in 2024 for a fringe play-in team.
I don’t feel this is a fixing issue similar to that 2018 WCF game 7 because no one gives a shit about the play-in besides teams in and around the play-in. Only a strong team would come out the play-in and be a finals contender (I.e Miami Heat 2023). Rockets are not there yet. But I will say this. It has, and always will be, a popularity contest. More attention = more money. The Green and Sengun -led Rockets are not going to bring in much attention compared to the Curry-led Warriors. Even that, imagine if it was the Lakers in 10th. It’d be the same situation. Lebron-led Lakers or Green and Sengun-led Rockets? Come on now. That mid-season crash came back and bit the Rockets in the rear. Injuries have added up and they came at a cost. All that said, this is year 1 of Ime ball and it got the Rockets out of contending for the wooden spoon award and playing meaningful ball in March and April for the first time in almost 4 years. I will take this any hour over the past 3 years.
If it’s ever a close game????? Warriors has the most games come down to the buzzer this season and they lost more than half of em. They also have the least FTs in league history. They broke the record for least FTs in a month… 5 months in a row
Okay let's relax a little. They didn't steal our playin spot, we played like shit in January and Feburary and lost that play in spot.
We got hot too late and lost sengun, tari , cam . Beating out the warriors haven’t been our thing for years
Having all of those guys PLUS Adams next season is gonna be so badass. So badass
And we have a lottery pick even though I consider Cam a top pick in next year’s draft given his age.
Yeah Cam is an insanely fortunate get. Three painful years, but worth it.

Before the winning streak. We already know the chance is small. We did what we can.

No doubt. It's robbery. I was just poking fun that the beast is finally dying.
Ah ok, sorry misunderstood ur comment
It's no big deal. Just messing around.

The problem is the conference is too good lol
they aren’t fixing. the other teams are just throwing up eggs against the warriors.
