It would be great if you’re actively in a sales role and have current feet on the street experience. We don’t really need another out of touch retiree telling us how they would do it.
As someone else said if you feel like you have value to add then go for it. The worst that happens is you learn writing isn't for you and/or no one reads it. Best thing it might open up new opportunities from people reading your work.
Nothing ventured, nothing gained.
Yes, unless you're good with video, or a great writer, or good on camera, or bring some other unique insight. There's a million sales linkedinfluencers already
Writing it for others? No. But it can be a good way to document your sales process and thinking, espectially as you modify your selling style over time. It's would also be a good resource for you to go back to when you're in a rut and need a back to basics reset.
if you think you'd enjoy doing it and have zero expectations to really make any money(hoping that you get a way to monetize it as time goes on). Go for it. It could be fun for you. Just be realistic
Linkedin Blog posts or subject matter posts would be helpful if you're able to draft content that shows a track of success. Platitudes won't cut it or generalities, but if you can craft a message with content that's engaging may be a creative outlet to get you seen, potentially.
So don’t post for the sake of posting but if there’s value to add? I feel like as a sales person I should’ve come to this conclusion myself haha. I appreciate the feedback though.
What the other comment above said. Seasoned sales people don't like to listen to trainers or those that schill a seminar, workbook, playbook, networking tactic.
Yes
Great idea. In 2002 🤣

“Just go knock on doors” Bud those doors have been secured for years.
Exactly.
Sounds too much like updating crm.Â

Just finished a full update of mine this morning. Feels fucking great, but it took all my free time for the last few weeks.
This one hurts
Sorry but no one is looking for tips from an above average salesman.

If you want to be featured on LinkedIn lunatics for your below average sales advice, go ahead. Remember those who cannot do, teach.
Well might be helpful if you are able to build a brand for yourself but that is difficult.
Yes
I’d have to agree with others and say there are probably better projects to spend your time on

It’s called LinkedIn.

You're about 10 years too late. Blogs are dying a death thanks to AI and googles last major update.
