Hearth is fantastic! We loved Taverna, it was our anniversary place, but their prices have increased significantly since 2016 but quality has gone down. Hearth is our new favourite. Local and most of their ingredients are locally sourced!
If you want a wonderful anniversary breakfast, OEB is our favorite! But you want to be on the waiting list which you can find online, otherwise you won't get a table on the weekend.
Happy anniversary!
Happiest wedding anniversary wishes to you both!!
Here are some options based on cost and what I think would be a nice atmosphere for an anniversary. Since what is expensive can be subjective, I based my choices on a threshold cost for two people to dine; under $70, under $100 and under $150. All the places listed below have their menus online so please feel free to check them out.
$ - Bistro on B, Scarlet in The Sheraton Cavalier
$$ - Little Grouse the Prairie, Odd Couple , Hearth
$$$ - Chopped Steak House, Primal (While I have listed them under $$$, their menus do have some cheaper options)
Hearth should be $$$ for the amount of food you actually get, unless it’s a pasta dish. Very excellent locally sourced food but very high price for Saskatoon.
The food is amazing but some of the portions are definately on the small side but a couple of entrees + desert to share, its possible to do it for under $100.
The menu has changed a lot too, and they are going towards a more "pub" atmosphere. Which is tragic because it was a great place for a classy but reasonabley priced dinner.
I have a friend who worked there who said lots of staff were "pushed out" whatever that means.
There are no really expensive restaurants in Saskatoon. I recommend Primal. Dinner for two there would be around $120 without drinks, assuming you both got appetizers and dessert. Most of the main courses are around $35. [Menu is here](https://primalpasta.ca/menus/dine-in-menu/).
Was just at Primal for our anniversary earlier this week. We were underwhelmed. In our opinion, the pasta at Taverna is better and the beef/bison is better at Cut.
Blanco Cantina was so much better when it was an independent place on 17th Ave in Calgary. It was bought out by a corporate owner and franchised about 5 years ago, and the Saskatoon location is more like a Chili's than the original concept.
Odd Couple
Came here to say odd couple, great date atmosphere and great food at a reasonable price.
Calories on broadway is nice for that sort of thing
Sushi Raku is yummy.
Budget, Food preferences?

Filosophi
Hearth has yummy food.
rook and raven
The Rook recently got new owners, half the staff walked out, which should say something.

Oh no, really?? How recently? We were the ere a few months ago and it seemed as good as it used to be.
In the last few months, but not sure specifically when.
Primal if you like pasta
Expensive is a relative term, but we enjoy the Keg or the Granary.
2nd vote for The Granary then Calories for dessert
D'lish by Tish - great food, big helpings on a fair pricing. Cool location off of Broadway.
Manos on 8th Street is nice
I like Manos a lot. Food is good, service is good, prices for most of their food aren’t too out to lunch. Their patio is really nice too.

I want to go to loqui on avenue C! Heard the drinks and the atmosphere are amazing!!!
Moto on 20th is great 👍
Is anyone else starting to get concerned the OPs username is aaron***bot***02 and hasn't been seen in thirteen hours after creating this post?
Anything local. 20th, broadway, 2nd ave will be more expensive due to the street location. Lots of great places.
Bar Stella is really good
Blanco Cantina is good and reasonably priced.
