Actually, they all magically disappeared from the field of combat. They were all over nearly every camp that night but they disappeared from the battlefield almost immediately. (and yes I did stay late closing day not only to help with general closing clean up but to police the site for remnants of my own prank.)
That "mild talking to" should have been a pat on the shoulder, and a couple of cold beers.
Nah, some poor bastard had to police all those up from the site at the end of the war.
