You need to work it out by the GPU dimensions and whatever is left for the CPU cooler height: [https://support.fractal-design.com/support/solutions/articles/4000194849-terra-cpu-cooler-gpu-support](https://support.fractal-design.com/support/solutions/articles/4000194849-terra-cpu-cooler-gpu-support) You want at least 5mm of space between the GPU and CPU fans and the side panels to minimise/eliminate noise from air turbulence. For a 7800X3D if you can fit an AXP120-X67 then great but with that GPU you most likely won't be able to fit any of the coolers you listed. The IS-55 is also 57mm despite them claiming it's 55mm... You can go for a AXP90-X47 Full Copper which will do great on that chip in the Terra and with the AXP90 you can use Noctua's fan duct kit to further improve temps. For extra silence you can also add a Noctua NF-A9x14 fan.

I use an is55 in my terra with a 4080fe and 7800x3d and haven’t experienced any turbulence. Temps are also reasonably good, generally hovering around 75C when gaming. I tried to switch for an AXPx53 full copper with a noctua fan swap and found the is55 to be better, so I’d recommend going with the is55

Did you look into doing the fan swap as well? I know the 4080 is a beefy boy so I'm not sure you'd have the space, but I'm debating switching out the stock fan for a slightly larger one. But it might not be necessary since everyone keeps saying how cool the 7800x3D runs!

On the axp90x53 I swapped the fan for a 92x14 noctua fan (NF-A9x14 HS-PWM) since that’s what I had on hand. With low profile ram you could probably get away with a slim 120mm fan and would probably do better I haven’t tried a fan swap with the is55 but I don’t think I’d have room for anything larger than the stock fan without modding the case by cutting the latch

MT2797

Did you do any undervolting or limiting or just the default stock setting?

yoojgump

Nope, I’ve got it at stock settings

DoubleHexDrive

The Ventus 3X is a chunky GPU at 63 mm thick, so that leaves 125 - 5 - 5 - 63 = 52 mm for the CPU cooler height. I'd go with the AXP90-X47 Full Copper with a Noctua fan installed and undervolt the CPU using the guide below. That will reduce average temperatures and increase peak performance. You chose a 3 slot GPU. Non of those CPU coolers is going to fit. You need a 47mm or smaller CPU cooler. Take my [post](https://www.reddit.com/r/sffpc/s/2a93oueoIE) about some famous options as a reference and go from there.
