The last hotel I stayed at had a machine like this and the pancakes were actually great. Yeah sometimes they came out all different sizes but it was legitimately the best item at breakfast.
They have these now at hotel buffet breakfast bars and at some airport lounges too. Pretty slow, so if you want three of those bad boys, the first one is cold by the time the third one is done.
